As far as Kpop they are the first to dance barefoot on american talk show and it’s the first time performing “Black Swan” with the choreography. I don’t know anyone else but it gives me fake love & blood sweat tears vibes. This is their third time being on his show, their debut appearance/performance was “DNA” on top of playing Flinch game and the second time appearance/performance “Fake Love”. Our guys came out like seven swan bosses taking everyone’s wigs but also made everybody worry about JHope during the performance b/c he was accidentally kicked on the top of the ear & head by Yoongi & Taehyung but he didn’t break focus from dancing and they felt really apologetic towards him afterwards. Luckily, he is okay 👌 Tae did a vlive chat with JHope & RM right after they gotten back to the hotel. The Hide & Seek game they played was hilariously adorable which I felt so bad for jimin, jin and JK for being man handled by Ashton Kutcher but James walked all the way back to set holding Suga & Taehyung hand. *Regarding the Grammys, BTS became the first ever SOUTH KOREAN KPOP GROUP to perform on the grammys stage because the collaboration they did with Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus and Mason Ramsey performing “Old Town Road”.* THERE HAVE BEEN SOME AMERICAN STAGES THAT DONE SETUPS LIKE THIS AND OTHERS HAVENT BUT FOR THIS PARTICULAR STAGE IT IS THE FIRST TIME ON A AMERICAN TALK SHOW.

I'm agree with your mom 100%. If I recall, when Grammy announced their nominees and BTS was not even nominated at all, a lot of Western artists, radio shows mentioned it and I think that might've stirred the pot (my opinion) to where the Grammy reached out to BTS a couple weeks from the actual award date asking for them to perform. Grammy prob noticed that they'll lose view counts since it seems like a lot of shows AND even TH-cam vids where they'll use BTS name just for views. The great thing though after the award show, BTS went on VLive and they were so happy just to be on stage at the Grammys. As much as I dislike people using BTS for clout, BTS still remain humble and happy to be doing what they're doing. And we as their army/fans are happy regardless because our boys are happy! 💜💜💜

I kinda of disagree with what everyone is saying regarding the Grammys. Yes BTS is big and popular but you have to remember Grammys is an American show. BTS knew what they were agreeing to when they said yes because they wanted to perform at the Grammys which they did and hopefully next year, they’ll get to have a solo stage. They’re huge western artists but they’re never at MAMA or other Asian awards shows. And let’s not say the Grammys were horrible because they had to change a lot of things because of Kobe Bryant’s death, may him and his daughter and the seven others Rest In Peace

Also, my thoughts on the grammys, it was a feature of lil naz and his hit song with all the different collaberators i believe. RM did a colab with him with that song. They were all there as lil naz as the feature basically.
