J-Hope doesn't match those guidelines very well, despite being a very handsome man, so haters took every opportunity to attack him and the group for him being 'too ugly to be an idol.' RM was similarly attacked, both on his appearance and on his 'selling out' his established rap career to become an idol.

Yes. Army is adorable representative mc's for youth. BTS taught us to love ourselves and others. If we don't live up to that then we are not a true army. So in line with this, we as army should also be loving and understanding and humble just like our bangtan is setting a good example. They will not be UN ambassadors for nothing. Our boys didn't promote hate and bullying but love and that includes loving ourselves and others and being forgiving.

Yes, I am sure they spoke about the incident before when they first reunited. You can tell there was some stiffness in both Jimin and James' before they iron out in front of audiences. Some Army just took things too far and created more hurt and harm than good. Our kings of pop know how to solve issues if there were any and it obvious both James and BTS' feelings were hurt a little and BTS just so graceful and understanding. We all make mistakes in communications million times in our lives. Stop taken things so serious and a lot of Army do act like 15 years old and on power trips not thinking that BTS are grown men who are more than capable of dealing with hates and love. Remember to spread love not hate. Thank you James and BTS for reunited again. I love their interactions.

Corden’s a slimeball who undeniably wanted BTS to give him the chance to apologize just to salvage his own image and inflate his ego again. Corden only cares to the extent that he wants to maintain his “I’m a happy-go-lucky nice guy” when he’s actually a douche who doesn’t give a crap that he belittled teen girls/young women and BTS.

@@kabir4835 "to be in hot water" basically means to be in an uncomfortable and difficult situation usually after you make some mistake or say something wrong, so Namjoon was talking about how making that "15-year-olds" comment earlier put James in a bad position with the armies and they wanted to clear that out
@@kabir4835 Back when BTS attended the UNGA this year, James Corden made a joke on his show about how armys are a bunch of fifteen years olds. Armys called him out on that and a lot of us really disliked him. Namjoon knows what happened, that James had bad blood with Army so he addressed that on this show.

I felt like they were all trying to make sure James felt comfortable and knew it was okay and the intention was just to clear the air RM calmly addressing the situation, Jimin’s hug and holding his hand, and Jin’s cute comments about watching his show they are so humble and handle everything with such respect and dignity
They tried to resolve this misunderstanding in a light-hearted manner on his show so that it won't linger on. James was slightly teary-eyed when Jimin said "I believe you" and hugged him.
I think it was a harmless joke by James..I think the delivery was a bit off but after all at the end of the day he meant no harm...some are taking it too far and taking things too seriously

Some ARMYs believe that he was trying to criticise BTS' fanbase, and some believe it was a sarcasm type of joke. The video where he said these things is already deleted, but I think there might be some ARMYs who has saved the video.
