Fake Love and Idol were live. They pre-recorded Airplane part 2. We knew they were doing Idol, we didn't know it was going to be a production like this. Many attacked BTS saying they were too "westernized" because they crossed into the International market so they took their most Korean song and turned it up to 1000. But BTS is known for telling the haters off in the most epic but never hateful way. BTW I love your Mom's enthusiasm and comments. It's always fun when she joins in.

@Michelle Molina Okay some of your points are weird for me. Fansigns they only do them in SK, so even the rest of Asia where they have major love don't get fansigns. I think they did a few based on sponsored products in JP but never about their music usually which is when fansigns are usually done. Americans weren't the ones saying they were westernized, that was hateful antis outside of US. Of course Koreans had more love for them but many of their haters were Koreans as well. As for Psy, yeah many Americans ignored BTS because their only reference was him. But when explained many realized how big the land of kpop was. But you could have said the same thing if in the mid 80s you said white rapper. All anyone knew in the beginning was Vanilla Ice who was awful, you would have had to explain to them who Eminem was before the "stigma" went away. This was the first full year of major US/EU acknowledgement and so far BTS and BH are trying as well as language barriers allow to treat US/EU well. The new webtoon is in english, the new book Notes for the Wings era has an english version. Some things are just going to be strictly for Koreans/fluent in Korean (like Fancafe) and that's okay. Beyonce and Ariana Grande don't do as much for foreign fans as they do for Western either.

Being a human differentiated from other mammal is 'reasoning' of their perception and choice. It is important to have that reasoning process based on fact and logic as much as possible. It's also a fact that people who love or hate things can be purely based on emotion. But if a person is intelligent enough then would seek for any errors or mistakes of one's own judgement. The reason why the quality dropped during Airplane Pt.2 was because of the bit rate. Meaning basically the more colors and the more that is going on on screen the more TH-cam can’t handle it. It’s not because of your internet or their different cameras. Oh and loved the reaction and your mom is so dope and cool!

This shows how amazing they are and how socially conscious. They truly, truly are a special group and I am such a huge fan of them not only as artists, but as human beings.
I love the fact that not only did they include a lot of traditional Korean culture in their performance in response to the accusations of being too westernized, but if you listen to Idol again, then you notice that it was performed with a lot of traditional Korean instruments as well. I love that they really went the distance with it.

I went to their concert in London and I think, to be honest, that the award shows are much more elaborate than the concerts. The amount of money it costs to have that kind of stage production that you just watched in this award show is not something they can reproduce for numerous nights in every city they go to, so it was saved for a special occasion such as the award show. Whilst it was still vibrant and colourful at the concert, it was probably 80% lighting and 20% set design. But again, their entire set may have been changed for the concert I attended because Jungkook had cut his foot open a few hours beforehand and he'd had to stay seated throughout the whole performance. It looked like they'd had to hastily change everything around that they'd planned and make it much lower key for Kookie. I still recommend going and seeing them live though as their energy and swag more than make up for the more simple concert sets.

I went to their concert in London and I think, to be honest, that the award shows are much more elaborate than the concerts. The amount of money it costs to have that kind of stage production that you just watched in this award show is not something they can reproduce for numerous nights in every city they go to, so it was saved for a special occasion such as the award show. Whilst it was still vibrant and colourful at the concert, it was probably 80% lighting and 20% set design. But again, their entire set may have been changed for the concert I attended because Jungkook had cut his foot open a few hours beforehand and he'd had to stay seated throughout the whole performance. It looked like they'd had to hastily change everything around that they'd planned and make it much lower key for Kookie. I still recommend going and seeing them live though as their energy and swag more than make up for the more simple concert sets.
