That's a box pleat flare and it's a whole different ball game, I explain though. You have to decide how many inches you want to form the box pleat and then cut the flare pattern, add fresh pattern paper which will represent the one you're folding inwards, also mark out how many inches you want the fold to be, keep repeating the process for how many box plats you want to have.
Good evening ma, i have 2questions tho! 1.will i still use same method if i was making a gown 2.what if i dont want a cut on both sides just a full circle except for the area fo zip placement, how do i fold the fabric?
It's same method for a gown. If you don't want joining at the sides, join your front and back pattern on the sides use a celotape to hold them together , then cut on fabric
Did you tilt your centre front hem( let the pattern paper be 3 inches away from the centre front at the hem nor the waist, I explained in the video. Please watch carefully.
It's beautiful and your tutorial is straight forward. This is a simple way of managing fabric to achieve a flare skirt.
Thank you

Thank you for this tutorial, I'm glad I came here this night. Did you use the front piece to cut the back and then added zipper allowance?
Yes, you can do that.
But for best result, you have to repeat same process on your basic back skirt.
@@amenclothing8146 ok, thank you 🙏😊
Thanks for the tutorial, it was really helpful. Please I want mine to be pleated at the waist so how do I go about it.

Bandage fabrics are usually heavy,
It probably might be heavy in my opinion.

Was the fabric folded in bias or the normal way we fold our fabric??
Yes, the normal way
@@amenclothing8146 thank you so much
Do you double the letter at the front please?
The fabric was folded into two meaning that I cut on fold the centre front of the pattern
Thank you but did you use same pattern to cut the back or what
Not same pattern, but same process
Why was it different ma,if it's the same process ma
Please how, do you draft a box pleated circle
I'm yet to make a tutorial on that
Thank God I found you,
I'm glad you did, thank God.
My concern is how to fold to edges smoothly without a bias
Overlock and sew.
Or you sew twice
Nice job. But you didn't say howyiu folded your fabric. Is it bias form or the how?
Not Bias just straight

Pls how many inches will I leave for 460 degrees flare
I think I used 3" for this video,
So for 460 degree, you should reduce the inches

How to cut 720 degrees umbrella skirt without joining lines?
You’ll have to cut 2 of 360 degrees and join at sides, you can do side pockets at the joining. You’ll need more fabric
