You guys are so lucky to be in a school of music while im mostly self taught playing piano,guitar and violin its always been my dream to be in a music school but in theres no music school in my city
That’s so much fun! I remember my 2 years at Juilliard , best years. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make a decent living by teaching and freelancing in the tri state area. Decided to go to the medical field as a ultrasound technician, made the right decision. Now making a decent living and playing the cello as a hobby. Goodluck !

I was a cellist for two years in elementary and middle school (I was never ever even close to considering Juilliard) but I will always appreciate the instrument and am a musician in other respects. You are very inspiring. As a singer, the "pushing yourself to your limits" thinking is true for me recently. I am trying to sing so emotionally but when I think too hard I get even stiffer!! Not to mention caring for my voice. It is nice to see someone also thinking in the same vein :)
Gabriella - Don't THINK your emotions! Don't try too hard! FEEL it. Speak the text - think about the situation in the song or aria. And let it get into your consciousness. But DON'T push it! You'll just strain your voice. PS I'm a Soprano too...we often make things too difficult for ourselves!
do you know I am 19 years old and I found myself in a play cello but everybody say to me that's impossible I don't know what I should to do please help me I'm just love it and I want to play it 😭😭😭
