Jordi is a cross between a suspension guru and a sports psychologist. 😁 Love watching these vids. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
This is it boys! For me this gives me sooo much more cause i get to see the things no other shows from the circus. Track walks are fun but i want coverage. Nicely done. We are alllready in place in france awaiting to see you guys live.
That’s what we like hear, glad your enjoying the series, swig by and say hi!
Respect to Loris making time for the fans mid way through a setup - awesome to see.
the only thing that would make these videos better is if there was video of the riding/racing mixed in, great to watch either way though, thanks for doing them.
“I JUST FEEL LIKE A CRAB” Rachel Atherton 2019
That is a GIF-able moment for sure...
Watched this last night and thought what the heck, I've been riding like crap lately and I like what Jordi said about brake lever angle, so I moved mine up. Today was the best I've ridden all season! To be fair, I'm not all that great, but it sure did help me out today. Thanks! 🍻
Digging this series...very intriguing interactions. Watching the troubleshooting go back and forth, I feel like the actual "fly on the wall." lol
Great vid. Cool to see Rachel give props to Jordi.
Cheers Steve, Rachel is always grateful for our support, especially Jordi!
Find this series fascinating. It’s crazy how they’re always changing something. I’ve found how I like my bike to feel and forgot about it. But I’m only a noob. That’s why this is fascinating.
It's also a nervous tick thing. When you aren't winning or losing world cups by seconds it is probably a better idea to set and forget and just focus on your skills.
You have one of the best insight channels in MTB, I just love the dialogue, the open honest input from all the guys and girls at Fox. The inter relation with the riders and staff on teams is pure gold for the average joes out here. I run R*** S***X and I feel really jealous, keep up the good work. Thanks 🇨🇭🤘
Idk what fox pays them but this dude is amazing love watching these videos.. the fact that he can look at their body language and listen to the noises they say their bikes are making and fixing them is pure madness.. is their even another company that compares.. my fox vanilla rear shock is still going strong after 20 years
Make a compilation of Greg bouncing on his rear suspension:) :)
That would be great, then we do a remix with Loris sound effects 😂
Exactly 👌
thanks folks. Awesome job!!
Good remember of #ridefox amig Rachel Atherton and guy Jordi Cortés in the learning thes forgks compression of #foxdialed in the #uciworldcup. Thanks guy's saluds of chile 🇨🇱 🤘😀🚵🚴
i'm realy into enduro and i just bought a new bike and i'm struggling to find the right setting for my fork.
I'm trying all the little thing like they do here.
But it's kinda fun to learn step by step.
@1:25 that face and sound Jordi makes made me laugh so much
Amazing series guys, awesome job!
That black race kit is sweet 😍
No more evening videos. Now I want to go ride.
I did a quick ride after this afternoons video.

Just binged watched from ep 1 and see this get in
That’s great Tom, welcome to the DIALED Family, let us know what you wanna see in future episodes!
Excellent video 10/10
When he says, “I need my own therapist”, i felt that. 🤙🏼
Love these videos...
Tyre pressures never get mentioned. Surely that’s an important element that affects the suspension ?
Nice #1👍🚴♂️
what is the pro's opinion of Shock Wiz?
They seems to be a cool tool for bike shops and enthusiasts but they ain’t no Jordi 😛
Paul Andrews It’s a RockShox product so Fox channel is not the right place to ask... 😃 but regardless, Jordi is definitely better. 😎
it will give you an idea for basic set up but it does not take into account your feedback
@@tamasvarga67 I think it's right place to ask for a straight answer
Paul Andrews Well... Fox guys are not using it, it was obvious before you asked.
What are the settings you made: None! I turned it then out it back... lol
How does Jordi compensate the airloss when removing the shock pump? Or is it just my air pump thats broken? It always release random amount of pressure when removing it after pumping air.
The air pressure difference is the hose filling up when you connect it back... And the sound you hear removing it is the hose emptying.
One more question, does the crew ever see the track itself?
Definitely, we all walk the track as soon as we arrive!
@@FOXFACTORY Then show the whole process and why would you prefer one set-up over another, and the mental process of it. Otherwise people seem just randomly asking Jordi for random suspension changes. He looks a little overstressed like taking care of a bunch of children...
When you watch the race, you see the riders with the most success were the ones who ditched the side to side and just barreled through the roots and dust craters straight just slightly on their hind wheel.
Can we get the name of the athletes on screen? Who is the girl at 18:34?
I second that, please ID the riders for those of use who don't know
Nina Hoffman.
plus one more "n" Hoffmann :)
Haha Jordi doesn't like that french guy in the red 🤣
Fox 36 Factory 29er 2020 - where does one get standard End Hub Caps that fit a Fox Fork for a SRAM hub? Sram uses 31mm diameter Hub caps. Fox Fork is compatible with 21mm diameter Hub Caps. Help me find standard hub caps for my fox fork please!
What is the intro song?
a little curious how the FOX folks air up the forks and shocks in regards to adjusting for the bits of air that come out when unscrewing the pump from the valve? Obviously trying to be as exact as possible with numbers, so that would throw the settings....or does that really make that much a difference in .1-1. psi difference really?
7:35 who is this rider please ????
The Santa Cruz bikes seem finicky
Does one 'click' really make any real difference - even for a professional or is it all a mind game for them?
Probably goes like... the more experience you get the more you feel the difference. When i was riding my snowboard i could feel stuff like one click on the binding or 3 degrees wrong angle.
I feel the temperature difference of the oil
Exley, some riders will admit they don’t feel one, while others do. When you see these riders riding in person you will understand, they are riding bikes in ways we would only dream of. 👊
I doubt it. I think it is just a psychological placebo. Jordi is as much a psychologist than just suspension guru. Edit - just watched it to the end, Rachel says as much!
Jordi is a fucking mind Jedi .
Listen.......
"Hummm yeah 1 click"
Rider- "yeah thats it"
Jordi- yeah they just...dot sot dot"
Hahaha
Rachel is talking about deathgrip, what does this mean? I allways thought this is just a brand. Thx
Death grip - letting go of the brake lever(s) and held on to the grips without touching or covering the brake levers.
Deathgrip is when you put all your fingers on the handlebar and have no fingers on the brakes
I know it's been a minute since you posted this, but I just wanted to clarify. The other poster might be right that it means specifically having no fingers on the brakes in MTB, but in general it just means gripping really hard. Like if someone is terrified they might grab something and hold it really tight, which is called a death grip, so she might have just meant she was having to really grip her bars harder than she would like.
what this is telling you, is that even though they're riders, they don't necessarily know what they're talking about, and what they say isn't necessarily right. which means most advice you get on the trails is bullcrap.
Ive been watching a lot of the Dialed vids lately. Whereas, sus set up is a science its not an exact one and these guys are wasting (especially at big events where rest is key) a lot of energy puzzling Jordi for answers, where (I feel) they should be rocking up to the tent after runs and instead being able to tell him what they want him to change, rather than asking rather trivial things. Considering that they are full time pros (and should have time at home to fettle), they seem completely puzzled how to set their own rigs up..brake lever angle...come on! That is something that they should be fettling themselves and should be atuned to what changes what. Im a racer and a mechanic, I trust myself to know what the bike is doing at races and what I need to do when I get back at the van to make it better again, safe in the knowledge that I know the difference that changes make and a lot of them are psychological (thats racing). I feel for Jordi, I really do. I write this in full recognition that they are faster than me too. Its just some observations...cheers, great vids!
That digital shock pump might say Fox, but it's identical to the Rock Shox digital pump. No idea who actually makes them, probably some bloke in Taiwan, with any sticker you like.
Also, Greg Minaar has his brake levers hard against his grips. 2 fingers? At least his Mrs. will enjoy it!
Spoiler Alert... Stop the video at 20 minutes 38 seconds, if you don't won't to know the race results.

Santa Cruz guys always have biggest problems. They bikes must be crapy then ????
a tuning fox mechanic for riders with years of experience. this does not make sense, probably this mechanic is complicating even more. the adjustments could be made by the pilot and the mechanic of his team.
That's just your opinion. Why should they, rider and mechanic, seek his expertise if they can do better? You obviously don't know who Jordi Cortes is so research about him.
UCI DH World Cup is in the pinnacle of downhill racing so every little amount of adjustments on the suspension matters and demands the best technician who understands more about suspension and the inner workings of their own products. Who could be more qualified than the global technician of Fox? The rider? His race mechanic? Or a suspension specialist of the brand of suspension they're using?
Mutantes Racing Team Downhill I totally disagree. Watch more episodes. Even experienced riders show up, who can‘t even explain exactly what happens with the suspension. How should they know what to do exactly?
On the other hand, a lot of riders seem to have the right ideas what to change. But it’s like they‘re a bit afraid to make the decision on their own responsibility. They want to have Jordis opinion on it.
For someone riders he‘s more of a mental coach instead of a Suspension tech.
