Going Stage 3 is just another typical day haha. IE offers a none RS injector file. Basically just turned down the tune. I would say do the injectors right away and unlock the full potential of the turbo.
Audi King, your a SME, slowly coming in my build on B9 SQ5, same year as yours, need some SME king advice. All tuning we’ve done is in house this new up & coming Lozic guy out of Korea. Dyno tuned but stuck at 400whp, hit a wall on full e85. We are running stock exhaust minus IE mid pipes, custom intake, IE turbo inlet, stock turbo, and want to keep the stock stock, but running out of fuel. We have the HPFP, but stock injectors are old, not getting it done at 90-110% duty E85. Should we bow up to the RS injectors, or just replace the almost 7yo injectors to meet fuel issues. Also what do you recommend for intercooler?
@@ShoeHead99 The very loud hpfp and valvetrain on these engines is NORMAL. there has been rocker arm/lifter failures on the b9.5’s as well. The nice thing about the B9 and I.E., is that they have a tune where you can swap back and forth any time between 91 and E85. If you have a half a tank E85 left and fill up on 91, the tune works. Pretty cool and is why my next project is def a B9 (now that I can't do anything else on my B8.5, Stage2+).
