    I may have smaller feet but I never noticed the restricted foot placement on the right. I think you will adapt to the DCT at slow speeds. It is definitely different. I came from an HD Road King so that everything is very different.

      You know what they say about men with big feet...you got some bigass feet.
      I've got a size 46 European, maybe an aftermarket exhaust (line?) would help with the lack of space.
      I'm sure you do get used to it, I'm just somewhat of a control freak when it comes to my bikes I feel.
      Definitely a different type of animal

    I'm 5'8" so is the bike too high or does Honda offer a lower height/ seat version?

    • @RidinDutch37
      @RidinDutch37  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm 185-186 cm so about 6'1" and I was tiptoeing it whenever I wanted to put both my feet down. You can for sure get it lowered, don't know if it's an OEM option tho

    • @Rdodo67
      @Rdodo67 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      there's a seat that brings it down to 870mm. I'm 5'7", I can only put one foot down at a time, but it is not too difficult. There is an Asian market version that is lower so it is possible to lower it.

    • @ridewyoming
      @ridewyoming 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm 5`6" / 167cm and I had no problems riding it with the regular saddle even if i tiptoed on one foot, but I bought the lower saddle and that's 1.5" lower. Just don't get the Adventure Sport, that's too high.

      RideWyoming , hi I’m 164 cm tall & looking at buying the Aventure version , do think if had purchased this with a lower kit that it will be fine for my height? Appreciate your opinion. Regards Nik from Australia 🇦🇺

    • @ridewyoming
      @ridewyoming 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nikkastellorizios6585 hi. No I'm sorry. I'm 167cm and I can't even touch the ground with one foot in the adventure sport. You would be putting yourself at risk. Try the regular version at a dealership or find someone online near you who's willing to let you seat on it and perhaps allow you to make a lap. I have the regular version with the lower seat and I can get my foot flat down if I slide off the saddle a bit.

    • @RidinDutch37
      @RidinDutch37  5 ปีที่แล้ว

    hoe vergelijkt deze motor tot een vstrom 1000 en een kawasaki versys 1000 ?

    • @RidinDutch37
      @RidinDutch37  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven't ridden either. I've been told by an owner of the versys 1000 that it's the most boring bike he's ever owned tho.
      I feel like I'd go for that low end V twin grunt of the V Strom over the Versys for sure, fkn love my SV650.
      The 270 degree crank on the Africa twin gives it a very playful character and the bike feels waay lighter than it is.

    Overkamp motors Delft, cool.
    Wij lagen vroeger met ons motorschip daar tegenover in de Buitenwatersloot.
    Moet zeggen dat ze voor hun gasten een mooie route hebben uitgezet zo langs die Rottemeren.
    Wel verdraaid jammer dat er nu op de meest onmogelijk plekken van die drempels liggen, zelfs vlak voor/na bochten. :(
    Er zullen er vast zijn geweest die zich er voorheen een beetje teveel misdragen hebben, LOL.
    Maar fraaie bike hoor!
    Of ikzelf ooit voor een DCT zou kiezen, ik weet het niet.
    Heb in het begin al problemen gehad met het gevoel geen controle te hebben als de ABS inkwam op mijn MT09. ;)
