    Klipschs are a great idea.
    Best sounding speakers I've heard up to a ridiculous amount of money.
    Also very forgiving and not fancy with the amplifier.
    I'm running my Old(er) RF7-ii through a Pioneer LX-56 and they're RIDICULOUSLY LOUD AND AMAZING at -20db.

    Did you check the convergence? Didn't see you do that. I worked at Epson and when installing it we always double checked it on every projector. 95/100 times the factory configuration is fine but sometimes red or blue bleeds out a little bit. So it's advisable to always do it and you really have to do it just once. I recommend the zone config, not the corner one.

    Great video. Something that always confuses me with these aspect ratio screens is, when you are watching a movie that is 1.85:1 or has an IMAX ratio, won't that stretch the image beyond the parameters of the projector screen? From example if you continued watching Aquaman and got to the scenes of the movie with the IMAX footage, will that stretch the image over the screen?
    Again, great video. I am going to watch more of them right now.

  • @brickman409

    On a screen like that, would you be able to play games in that aspect ratio? Obviously not with a console, but maybe with a PC. I know ultra wide monitors are a thing, so when the projector is set to the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, does a PC hooked up to it see it in a resolution that is of that aspect ratio? If that makes any sense

    Hi Zach great tutorial your awesome!, Hey when you were adjusting the white pattern image projecting from Epson to align perfect on movie screen were you looking at white lines on outside of rectangular pattern just to fit perfectly before black orders on screen? Or in other words basically getting pattern to fall perfectly within or around white slate screen? And maybe silly question 😀during the adjustment were you physically moving the projector during some adjustments or always using remote once you had physically levelled projector with bubble level front to back and side to side. Just need to know once level projector physically no need to touch it anymore for those fine adjustments you were doing you were just using remote from that step? Thanks your videos are very helpful big fan👍.

    Fantastic,precised and clean work. But
    1. After hanging the screen shouldn't it be checked from both corners for any tilt with measure tape or water level?
    2. Before installing speakers there should be wooden cabinet in gypsum wall in which it can be mounted because i guess gypsum wall is not mechanically strong, you haven't even use glass wool for speakers.
    3. What about amplifier connection, testone and tagging?
    4. Can you upload a tutorial on level, gain, calibration etc?

    Quick question about the speaker wire. So I recently bought speaker wire from Home Depot 14/2 250 ft is this a good wire to use to run they my walls? It’s says it’s speaker wired that’s why I bought it but I see that you use a white and more insulated cable. Is that better than the Home Depot 14/2 grey cable ?

I'm mounted a few inches off of the center so I'm just wondering if that lens shift a few inches over to center it is going to degrade the image to a point that it would be better to remount. • @Spacemanwho1
      @Spacemanwho1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey JC. Really depends on what your going for. If it’s standard 1080p then any cheap decent quality cable will do for about 10 meter runs.
      If it’s a 4K signal then anything over 5-8 meters you will struggle.
      I went with a fiber optic cable for my 10 meter run.
      The one I used is below. You can use any brand really as long as it’s 18Gbps
      FIBBR UltraPro HDMI 2.0 Cable Fiber Optic HDMI Cable Support 18Gbps 4K@60Hz 1080P, 4:4:4, HDCP 2.2, HDR 12bit,
      What ever you end up doing. If it’s the first time and you need the hdmi cable to be behind a wall or in celling. Run a conduit or run it in a such a way where you can pull the cable out and replace it down the line.
      Always have a back up cable even if it’s a cheap hdmi you can use to pull another cable through.
      Good luck.
      A lot of info over on AVS forums in the states or AVForums over in the UK.
      MAKE SURE YOU CAN UPGRADE THE CABLE DOWN THE LINE! have a backup plan in place to pull the cable out!

    I got a question for you I have movies that are 2.35 and 2.40 aspect ratio so what kind of movie screen do I need?

    • @Dreamediaav
      @Dreamediaav  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2.35. you run the risk of bars top and bottom if you go 2.40 screen

    Hi guys ! I need your opinion in something, I currently own 2 SVS PB-2000 & Klipsch 504 Center... and very crappy L-R as well as surrounds... Should I get a Pair RP-600M Bookshelf with a pair of RP500SA for atmos on top of the bookshelf (and potentially send those to surround back in the future ) OR get a Pair of towers now like the RP-280FA with atmos enable ? (and then worry about the surround in the future ) The price is almost the same, but the bookshelf are like 3 years newer and better horn... but in the other hand the towers are two 8 inches with a 6.5 inches atmos enable I believe- will those towers will be good for a few years or always better buy as new as possible if that means getting small woofers... Thank you all !

    Are “cinescope” and “cinemascope” the same thing?

    Weird question, is there such thing as in floor speakers for Dolby Atmos?

    • @techguy348
      @techguy348 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Dolby Atmos standard does not specify in floor speakers at all. In this video it looks like it's just being used as an alternative to placing a ceiling speaker

      technica marked on the floor, because no carpet. It makes it easier to mark everything out. Drop a plumb bob from the ceiling to the center marks on the floor, and you know where to cut the ceiling.

      @@techguy348 Man, wonder if they would ever think about adding that. I need to be enclosed with speakers!

      FinnishArmy I know what you mean! Maybe one day lower channels will exist with seating raised up off the floor🤷🏻‍♂️ I always envisioned multiple speakers set into like a tapestry that you could hang on all the walls and ceiling and also have speakers underneath you.
