This is exactly what I needed to hear. As a high school basketball coach, I hate that the first question everyone asks is, "what is your record?" I love winning just as much (if not more) than the next guy, but at what cost? After watching this, I do believe I have an achievement addiction. I feel I must win in order to be validated by other people. If our team loses, then that is a representation of me as a coach and person. Hearing this video, I can't wait to throw away the society scorecard and focus on the real game!
