    This is exactly what I needed to hear. As a high school basketball coach, I hate that the first question everyone asks is, "what is your record?" I love winning just as much (if not more) than the next guy, but at what cost?
    After watching this, I do believe I have an achievement addiction. I feel I must win in order to be validated by other people. If our team loses, then that is a representation of me as a coach and person.
    Hearing this video, I can't wait to throw away the society scorecard and focus on the real game!

    As a coach I focused on building people but, my admin and parents continued to question my wins and losses. We must support the good coaches and not the winning coaches.

    Everybody is committed to something. Achievement seems better than most obsessions to me.
