The ironic tragedy is that the man that lost everything (family, Unohana, Yama, Sasakibe, Ukitake) and hates responsibility, gained so much in addition to becoming the head captain. Naturally, it could only be Shunsui. Also, Trompete is my new favorite attack in all of Bleach.
Senjumaru’s bankai foreshadowing Lille’s death via a mirror is crazy.
and I think that's what her actual bankai's ability is, it leads them all basically to what their demise ultimately is. Like "threading fates" and weaving the "fabrics of reality" and the way they end up meeting their ends in 1 way or another. That's why I don't think Senjumaru, who actually is I believe the weakest 0 squad member, cared that much about herself dying because she already did her job.

Huh I just noticed that at the end shunsui is draped over nanao's right shoulder just like how katen was draped over his left, almost like he is her zanpakto spirit in that moment

The back and forth "Death Techniques" is a common complaint about Bleach's final arc, but it makes sense in a way - the elite Quincy are the closest to "God", and hence have much more religious forms and abilities. There's a bunch of references to Abrahamic religions, showing the Shinigami are fighting a war against ancient and unknown powers.
The Newly formed "Gods of Death" organisation has pitted themselves against the Ancient God and his Apostles.
Everything about the Quincy related to gods and religion. From their attack names, their Volstanding forms with halos and angel wings and its especially true with Lille’s and Ywach’s monstrous forms. Sternritter also translates to Star cross knights.
I like to think Shunsui's shikai came from his carefree nature growing up, but that his bankai was influenced by the events he experienced as he reached maturity. Given what happened to his brother, he believes in curses and cursed fates.
In a play, the fate of the characters are predetermined. The "script" has been written. In a tragic play, that is a cursed or doomed fate. You don't go and see Hamlet and wonder if he's going to make it out this time.
I think his Bankai uses the idea of a 'play' to induce curses on the 'actors' based on the 'role' they have been assigned. These curses don't require direct contact, and thus were able to bypass Lille's intangibility.
In D&D terms, his bankai forces forces a Charisma Saving Throw to manipulate the targets soul directly, rather than making an Attack Roll.

It's so cool that the girl from the left (pardon me, my lady, I don't know your name) recognized the "mirror" from Inuyasha. Both Bleach, Inuyasha and other animes use japanese mythology as part of their plots. The mirror used here was inspired by one of the Japanese's Three Sacred Treasures, "Yama-no-Kagami".
Seeing that very 1st reaction from you guys of the trailers before part 1 aired, I love seeing your guys reactions of FINALLY seeing all of these moments and fights unfold. Like I said in the last 2 episodes when Shunsui started fighting that I'm surprised Isis didn't recognize the Biblical references with Lille Barro's transformation when she had that Tattoo on her chest.

The way they depict speed throughout the season has been fantastic. The moment Lille released that Trompete attack you see it reflected back in the next frame. Almost like he inflicted damage on himself. WILD!

Yes. Her Bankai worked and forged the quincies destinies. They are all dying the way Senjumaru said.
The Quincy Royal Guard don’t go down as easily as the others do. These are some of the most hax characters in the series.
I know bleach is no where near referencing in islamic context,
but in Islam, the trumpet is a horn called the al-Sur that is blown by the archangel Israfil to signal the Day of Judgment, or Qiyamah,
Israfil blows the trumpet twice, once to bring about Doomsday and once to resurrect the dead. The first blast kills all beings except a few, and the second blast brings them back to life.

Quincies aren’t dying? They have been dying for the last 1,000 years!!! 😂 Uryu, Jugram, Gerard, Askin, and Yhwach are the only enemies left now. 😅
Kubo does have a bit of a reputation for being a bad battle progression writer. Everyone felt the same way. It was just “I win! Oh nm you win! Oh nm I win!” Every single battle. It was getting tiresome. At least in the manga because it wasn’t a big spectacle with gorgeous visuals like the anime is, so at least we can enjoy watching the journey

Technically, There is more manga past this. Cant Fear Your Own World spin off manga which Shuhei is the MC of and then there is one chapter made for the No Breaths From Hell arc. Unclear if there will be more of it or not. Kubo has not confirmed.
CFYOW is 3 volumes of light novels, not manga.

I really do love how much spotlight the lieutenants are getting. I wonder if that’s intentional? Maybe if the schutzstaffel has their own lieutenants it would’ve gone differently.
It is for sure intentional. Especially in Nanao’s case. She isn’t seen using a sword for the entire series for this fight alone
