Second, Sylvester Stallone is one of the most underrated actors of all time. Tulsa King is proof of that. Some corrections: the woman Stallone hooks up with, Stacy, is an ATF Agent (not FBI), and she is originally from NYC and had a lot to do with 9/11 post investigations and was very highly decorated for her service we find out in Episode 3, but got sent to ATF Siberia in Tulsa for an honest mistake she made that anybody would have done in her situation and the knowledge she had, even Stallone said he would have done what she did, but she got transferred. The guy shadowing Stallone is a horse trainer on a big horse ranch and he was a former accountant or something for the mob and he left because he got in trouble with the mob and started another life on his own without Witness Protection, and he was one of the reasons Stallone got pinched and went to prison, and he thinks Stallone's Crime Family has found him and Stallone is going to kill him for sending him to prison. At the end of the episode, Stallone is not looking at a building, he is standing in the center of a huge brick circle area out in the open in downtown Tulsa that is supposed to be the "center of silence" where you can hear and see what everybody else is doing, but no one can hear you so you can yell and scream and shout and confess your "sins" and no one hears you. Also, MF didn't touch on the re-negotiations scene for the marijuana dispensary with the supplier, it is pretty damn good. Episode 3 answers A LOT of questions, and has a lot of dry humor situations - this is a very entertaining show, it's fun and not boring, and it's not going to win any awards but the "juxtapositions" of situations between the mob in NYC, Stallone, Stallone's driver, Tulsa, the people in Tulsa he comes across and interacts with, him trying to reacclimate, etc., makes you laugh and think a little.

He also was invited to my grandpa’s parties I think.
Hi Michael! I hope that all is well. This video is a treat because you analyse a show and explain negotiations; the two reasons why I enjoy your channel. I loved Mr. Stallone in Rocky I because he portrayed Everyman with such dignity and humanity. I will watch the show.
We have to assume he had no supervised release after completing his bid. This is true because, had he had a parole officer, he would not be able to move to Oklahoma. Not without permission, not without a clearly defined, lawful job, and not without an established residence. Heck, you have to tell your PO about even wanting to take a trip out of the city or state. Even a one-day vacation.
Hi Mike, love the channel, you’re a smooth operator! I’ll cut to my point, maybe you could elaborate! I was reading about Luigi the zip Ronsisvalle recently and he was said to have said that he was disappointed with the lack of honour the American mafiosi had, that they might have portrayed themselves to have honour but never practiced what they preached, even with the drugs, saying the bosses would kill you if you got into drugs you’d be whacked but low and behold Carmine Galante and joe bonnano where neck deep in the business. Love to hear your take on it. ✌️
Two thumbs up on the interview👍👍. Two thumbs up on the personal emotional comment of your life👍👍. I will definitely put this in the rental video box when I see it or at the public library for free if I see it.😁👍
hey,,, good review , i enjoy the serie . i really like everything Taylor Sheridan ( Sicario, Yellowstone, Wind River )) is involved with, and good writing helps.. episode 3 is answering questions .... it is, like you said, intertaining , i agree, Thank you sir.
Stallone has always been made fun of because of the slurred speech and the way Rocky talked in the first couple Rocky movies. That carried over into the Rocky Balboa movie and I gotta say, there's plenty of lines in Rocky movies that are so great. When he finds out Steps is Marie's son instead of the little white kid, that scene was HILARIOUS with Rocky's dialogue. His acting is very underrated in the right projects.
because of stop or my mom will shoot because of rhinestone because of him snapping his fingers in oscar because his version of judge dredd doesnt wear the helmet because while on set in rambo 3 he wore a fur coat ..lol HOWEVER!!!! Rocky speech to his son rocky 6 fantastic Cliffhanger assasins the specialist the last rambo FIST Lock UP tango and cash Copland and every single Rocky movie no matter which one if youre flipping the channels we cannot help but stop and watch no matter how many times we saw it. thats the movie star IT factor only a few have.
He puts it on in Rocky big time. Notice in Demolition Man and Tango and Cash he sounds nothing like that. But in Copland where he reverts to playing an underdog again he puts it back on.
It's a fun show. You can tell early on it's not "realistic" but once you get over that you can enjoy it..good characters.. good acting.. it has potential.
You mentioned Visitation while doing time. As A C/O and later SGT.. I saw a lot of New Boots that thought they were there to punish the offender. Once it sunk in that we could show our humanity; How we treated a guy after his visit, (Father's/Mother's day seemed to be the worst), Made a big difference on his ability to cope with the pain.
Agreed. Seems like a really genuine guy that could hold a conversation about anything. Hard to believe he was part of such a violent and devious life. Just shows how strong and life-changing a person's faith can be.
Just because it's a violent life doesn't mean he was violent. I know he probably killed someone to be made but I don't think he put in too much "work" on that side. He was more business than Sammy for example
@@christiangraff5236 even without the violence he was probably still under constant stress of being caught in the scams and potentially being killed by his higher ups for a small misunderstanding You need a special mindset for that type of life, if the same guy had a TH-cam channel decades ago I'm sure you'd see a completely different person

One thing about the "supervised release" and seeing you parole officer, maybe it happens off screen. I have NOT watched it yet. I plan to wait til it's a few episodes in. But from a screenwriting standpoint, it's not urgent to the plot so maybe they simply skipped over it. Just a thought.
Funny,I wasn't feeling the first show..the second one pulled me in..and as a previous correctional officer I never did anything to my guys..they were going through enough..to be a man and have everything stripped from you even your dignity being stripped naked when ever..was more than enough..I ran the visiting room, the kitchen, and my cell block and I seen so many facets or other sides of my guys..and I seen the hurt they went though.no need in beating a broken man..Micheal wonderful job on this one..

Then he beat him to death for killing his Horse 😂 Tony is a Top G
Ralphie did no wrong doing in the beating death of Tracey. She was a whore and she also assaulted him.
@@Filthy_Larry she had an unborn child free of sin. Ralphie whilst a great character was a terrible man
The way Sly came back at the dude explaining how his business is ran and what the deal is going to be was very impressive.
Lets gooo!! Episode 3 next .
N Ice video Michael. You actually answered a question that I've had for a while...Can a Boss, Underboss or Capo HIT a made subordinate? I've been wondering that for a while and you answered that for me!! Thanks! Have a Great Week!👍👍
I remember reading on how before Stallone become famous sold his dog because he was in need of money.. once he got his first Hollywood check, went back and bought the dog for like 10k or something like that..
God bless you
Thanks for everything😃
I love Tulsa king so far. I don’t think it’s realistic but it’s a good show with a different twist
That is a good show it’s light not to serious Stallone does a great job I look forward to Sunday’s for the new episodes.I like the girl tells him you looked like a rough 50 lol when she finds out he’s in his 70s lol great scene
He plays Tommy Vercetti in this.
It has alot of comedic value.
I love this show too, love to hear your take on the the show and the characters especially. Thank you for your input and love your channel also. God Bless and take care. 🙏
My grandpa was a avid car collector and enthusiast and the Founder of Western Wheel. My mom always tells me how my grandpa and Sly were friends and would talk about cars and what not but my grandpa passed at 68 and my grandma a couple years ago so I’ll never truly know what or if those conversations took place. He also was invited to my grandpa’s parties I think.
Thank you sir. Your perspective is very appreciated. Many of us are really curious of what things are really like in that lifestyle.
I am already hooked on this new series! Stallone was made for this role. Excellent casting all around.
Me too and I NEVER watch series .
I'm hooked and gonna be very upset when this one ends
Hi Michael! I hope that all is well. This video is a treat because you analyse a show and explain negotiations; the two reasons why I enjoy your channel. I loved Mr. Stallone in Rocky I because he portrayed Everyman with such dignity and humanity. I will watch the show.
Sly never looked so good..
Sly said in an interview the two films he didn't like was Oscar and Stop or my mom will shoot. Just give the show a chance.
He also disliked Rhinestone
@@Tusc9969 yes he did.
He also regretted making the racing movie he did. I can’t remember what it was called
@@tarman2752 Driven.
@@michaelfranzeseA interview with Stallone would be epic!
Wow. I appreciate you giving a bit deeper explanation. As always, amazing content. I always enjoy and respect your point of view.
There all bullshitters out for themselves, even this guy to this day is making money through his crimes
Two thumbs up on the interview👍👍. Two thumbs up on the personal emotional comment of your life👍👍. I will definitely put this in the rental video box when I see it or at the public library for free if I see it.😁👍
I don't care about the show but it is interesting to me how these situations are handled in real mob life.
Thank you for your honesty that’s why I follow you.Without rules and them being followed there is no thing of theirs
hey,,, good review , i enjoy the serie . i really like everything Taylor Sheridan ( Sicario, Yellowstone, Wind River )) is involved with, and good writing helps.. episode 3 is answering questions .... it is, like you said, intertaining , i agree, Thank you sir.
Looking forward to watch this show.
Love your videoes. Thank you for the inspiration
I can't find your legs!!
He puts it on in Rocky big time. Notice in Demolition Man and Tango and Cash he sounds nothing like that. But in Copland where he reverts to playing an underdog again he puts it back on.
Rambo first blood . Just amazing
It's a fun show. You can tell early on it's not "realistic" but once you get over that you can enjoy it..good characters.. good acting.. it has potential.
His instinct when giving any type of criticism is to preclude it with praise and realism. That's super interesting. Very respectful
Great video. I love your commentary. I've been watching and enjoy your opinions. Keep it up.
A good story is a good story!
@@christiangraff5236 even without the violence he was probably still under constant stress of being caught in the scams and potentially being killed by his higher ups for a small misunderstanding
You need a special mindset for that type of life, if the same guy had a TH-cam channel decades ago I'm sure you'd see a completely different person
HEY MICHAEL, YOU’RE LOOKING GREAT BELLO!! I GOTTA HIT UP THE GYM TOO, YOU’RE SO RIGHT ABOUT HAVING GOOD HEALTH….. I HAD A SEVERE SCIATIC NEVER FLARE UP, STOPPED ME COLD IN MY TRACKS, LET ME TELL YOUS!!!🤌🏼GOD BLESS YOU MICHAEL, AND I LOVE WHAT YOU’RE DOING HERE! MAYBE, YOU CAN TALK ABOUT OUR YOUNG PEOPLE A BIT MORE….KINDA HEAR YA STEERING THEM AWAY FROM THE LIFE CAUSE, IT’S NEVER JUST LIKE THE MOVIES ALL THE TIME….AGAIN, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR’S….😘♥️👼🏻😎
I love the fact that you as an ex mob member can chew the fat about the finer details of life like how Judge Dredd wasn't stallones best picture LOL I love you Mr. Franzese. God is great!
Judge Dredd is a good movie tho
My god! Mr. Franzese it’s scary how you and my childhood friend look such alike! He’s Sicilian and Polish and we come up upstate. Western NY to be exact.
Many of us have screwed up in our lives. Learning to live with our mistakes is difficult, but trying to heal the wounds we made is another matter.
Amazing as always.
Michael it would be awesome if you could sit down with Sly sometime 😁
for what? sly is ggreat
@@muntuthompson9177 What do you mean for what??I'm a fan of Sly and it would be cool to see Michael have a sitdown with him sometime.
Great analysis Mr Franzese.
And it shows you do the hard work.
Mr Michael you are one of the great.honest.Smart and most important true leader.you may walked in the wrong way in the past.but our past never can difine us but our present.so thank you for telling us the true story.you are the Real Man!Jesus Loves You!God Bless you and your Familly🙏
It's as if the Tulsa King producers have contacted Michael after his 1st review and been like "Hey, your last video on us doesn't look good! What's your price for a 2nd review on our new show, with a push to have people watch it?"
Michael: "One hundred thousand will make this go away" 😂
No way man. Mobsters ain't corrupt!
I feel like you clarify too much for the people of the internet that will say what they say because it’s the internet. It will never change because they troll. Don’t mind them and keep up the great work! Much love Michael
Thank You for ALL your Valuable Knowledge. And as I am with Everyone, I truly do appreciate your Honesty... THANK YOU
Tulsa King has been pretty good so far, hope it holds up the rest of the season.
Nice review! I don't recall the word brilliant used once! I enjoyed the content.
Hey, wouldn't it be cool if he got to do a sit-diwn with Sylvester Stallone?
Funny,I wasn't feeling the first show..the second one pulled me in..and as a previous correctional officer I never did anything to my guys..they were going through enough..to be a man and have everything stripped from you even your dignity being stripped naked when ever..was more than enough..I ran the visiting room, the kitchen, and my cell block and I seen so many facets or other sides of my guys..and I seen the hurt they went though.no need in beating a broken man..Micheal wonderful job on this one..
glad I found a place to talk about this awesome show. Absolute Genius!!! God Bless Stallone and YOU sir. Amazing life!!!
Lol it’s not suppose to be realistic. Just a dark comedy Hollywood def not a documentary
Had to come here after watching the show. Love hearing your two cents
