Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! Which small Class C RV under 25' did you like best? Do you prefer a travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel? Please say hello by leaving a comment below and sharing your opinion about these RV floor plans.
Me too! The shortest Class C I think we have toured is just over 22' but the shortest we ever camped in was 19' 😲. I would love to find some smaller, we'll keep looking. Thanks for the suggestion! And thank you for your support!
It is smart but someone else commented that a CPAP is supposed to be at the same level as your head while sleeping so putting it overhead is not good...hmmm....
Jayco Class c grommet hole with outlet not sure but Cpap machines are supposed to be at bed level or just below bed level not placed in cabinet over bed. Pull out shelf is pantry for food storage not a spice rack, although could store spices. Prefer single bowl sink Double takes up to much counter space! Great review! Thank you!
Hi Mike and Susan! I like both the Jsycos. They both have room to walk around in and nice dinettes. The last one the Prestige has nice counter top. Just don’t like the refrigerator. Other than that they very nice. I usually like Thor. Thank you Mike and Susan for showing these. Have a great week and weekend. See you soon! Safe travels.
You can't go wrong with either of the Jaycos, that's for sure. The Prestige had a beautiful decor but agree with you about the fridge. Not my favorite style. Hope you are having a great week too. Thank you for your support!
Not relevant to this video, but wanted to thank Susan for the Zevo recommendation awhile ago. It really works and eliminates those pesky night time bugs. Thanks Susan.
Hi Amy, Great choice! And I love how you qualified your answer because we only provide the basics. More research would be required before making a purchase for sure! Hope you have a great week! Mike
Thank you so much for the kind words! We love knowing we can help people find their "perfect" RV. We have a toy hauler video coming out soon, but they might be a bit small for full time living. Check out the Grand Design Momentum 29G in this video th-cam.com/video/_M6xYVbI7Lo/w-d-xo.html Grand Design has a great lineup of their Momentum toy haulers. We'll keep searching. Thank you for your support!
Hi Tonya, We don't make videos about which RVs are for full time living because almost all of them are not meant for full time living. And it's very difficult to tell which are for full time living without reading lots of fine print.
I like the 3rd class C. The kitchen has enough countertop space for the coffee maker, nice interior and cabinets, good tv placement. I do wish there wasnt any propane. Would love a large rectangular sink. Neg.= the refrig is very dated and tiny. I would give up the pantry area for a better fridge. Like you pointed out, dumb window at the head of the bed. I wish the bed was pull down and not electric. I just know its going to break 😁 Shower is iffy. Bathroom counter nedds a small flip up shelf/counter. Not bad.
That’s a CPAP hole. You plug the machine in the cabinet and the hose goes down through the hole to put the mask on your face. It’s wonderful! I want that feature.
Ah... I see. I've installed many CPAP holes in my rig lol! I've drilled holes for power cords to go through cabinets to make life a little more convenient in our rig. So you can drill a hole in your rig too and install some grommets so you don't have a rough opening. Easy peasy! Thanks for answering my question! Mike
@@surpriseitsus9622 I never said I could not drill one myself. I was replying to his comment in the video. No need to go out of your way to be rude and ignorant.
We thought that might've been it's purpose. Glad manufacturers are including that for folks. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Hi Peter, We do mix in some larger RVs once in a while and we will work on more larger RV tours at the Hershey Show! Thanks for your suggestion and we are really glad you like our videos! Mike and Susan
Generally, I’m not a fan of slide outs, but I like the layout, furniture, and cabinets in a the Jayce Melbourne Prestige. It has a more modern/contemporary and sleek design appearance that appeals to me. No the typical boxy cabinets or seating. Also, we wouldn’t use the over the cab bed as such and I would prefer to modify that space for storage.
Thanks Susan and Mike great reviews and editing on your part. 3rd one, 223k and that fridge, lol. "Prestige" silly marketing ploy. I have to just giggle about this one. Wait five years and pick up for a way better price. (I'll pass) 2nd one, yes folks for 165k you can buy your own 300 dollar TV, silly kitchen, silly shower. (all of them should dump the dinettes). 1st one, nope. Cookie cutter floor plan not put together well. The consumer can spend more money and try to make them correct. About 21% depreciation in the first couple of years. Thor should follow what the European market does with innovations in campers. Thor should also get better at after sales service. Buy used, after 6 or 7 years. Anyway, just my opinions here. Thanks again and stay safe out there.
The first one (Thor) looks kinda nice - and I have absolutely no idea what the Jayco Melbourne Prestige is aiming for - who needs seats for up to 10 people (driver seat, passenger seat, dinette and 2x2 on the couch) in such a small car (I would not even pay 20k for this layout 😂)?
We boondock all over the place and honestly - we have never stayed in a place where we couldn't open the slide to spend the night. I just try to park so our slide is not facing the parking lot so it draws less attention.
You are wrong on cabinet shelves. Sunseeker’s (Forest River)all have great shelves in all of their class c’s and are much better made for same price. Need to review one..
You have to remind me what I said about the shelves so I don't have to watch the video to see what I said...lol! We tour a lot of RVs and I can't remember...lol Thanks for watching! Mike
Accessing the electrical outlet under the dinette in the Thor Geneva strikes me as awkward. I suspect more than one person has had to contort their body to reach the outlet from the seating position and/or has hit their head on the table edge trying to bend down to reach the outlet. Sometimes, I wonder if the engineers/designers have any practical life experience.
Also need a slide as we will travel with 3 Siberian Husky’s. We don’t want to trip over a husky on our way to the bathroom in the middle of the night - lol. Boondocking sometimes so 4 wheel drive would be nice? Too much to ask for? Is there a rig out there that would fit?
I wish you would show what they look like with the slides in. In most of these I would think you c could not get around very well. Because of slides I would not be interested in any of these and the first one has one of those crawl in beds that I would not like.
We understand. Unfortunately at RV shows and dealerships we are unable to close slides. That's a great advantage some other tour videos have that work directly with a dealership. We do try to provide some detail and measurement to help. Thanks for your support!
Hi Ronald, I have addressed this in other videos but here goes. The shower base in RVs sits on the floor of the RV. But there is also a trap that has to go under the shower base and in most cases there is no room for the trap to fit. It would require a hole in the floor of the RV to get the trap down there and usually this isn't possible or desirable. So they raise the shower base so they have a place for the trap. The trap holds water and prevents the odors from the grey tank from entering the RV through the shower drain pipe. Grea question and I hope this all makes sense! Mike
We aren't big fans of these types of cabinet doors either - especially if they don't have the hardware to keep the door open so you can access it with two hands.
We haven't toured a Vita yet but we know some friends who own one and they are pretty nice. But we can only tour what is available at a dealership or show. Stay tuned and someday we will break down the Vita. If there was one thing you could change about your Vita what would it be?
I'm not being mean, but for someone so invested in touring RVs you need to improve your knowledge. Many bedrooms are set up for CPap use. Thus a hole for an electrical cord. Also, they aren't spice racks. They're Pantries.
Did you know when you use a CPAP machine it should be at your head level or lower? Therefore a hole in the overhead storage made no sense to me. And I may have mis-spoken calling a pantry a spice rack but I think most folks could figure that out. I'm not perfect and never said I was. I just try my best to do the best job we can in and fun and informative way. I appreciate the feedback and I really appreciate you not being mean. We read every comment and try to answer them all. It really helps us to improve and keep getting better at what we do. Thanks for watching! Mike

I'd definitely go with the Thor. I'm single and that's plenty of space for me, and i also like that there are no slides. 😊
Good choice! Thor seems to be the winner in this video!
The grommet in the over bed cabinet in the Jayco is to pass your CPAP hose thru and keep the machine out of the way. Very smart.
It is smart but someone else commented that a CPAP is supposed to be at the same level as your head while sleeping so putting it overhead is not good...hmmm....

I wonder that plug in the cabinet on the Jayco Melbourne maybe it’s for a c pack machine so they run a extasin cord too plug in there c pack machine

Jayco big bed outlet with grommet hole CPAP with air hose hole?
