you'll need to cover the ends and then attach to the fabric on the comb. Try cutting a length of tulle and use it like a double folded bias binding to cover the ends
@@NotchesSewing, thank you for answering my question. I do not think it will be hard ,as the picture she sent me of the vail, looks like it has very little gathering, but most vails I’ve made have lots of gathering.
if it has very little gathering, you can just stitch that gathered stitched directly onto the fabric edge of comb. IF there is a lot of gathering, cut a piece of the matching tulle to create a binding to house the gathered section. Gather the section to be same width as your comb and stitch on top of fabric band of comb. Make sure to sew on the correct sided of comb depending on how the veil is worn on the hairstyle. Is this application only for plastic combs?
