Hi Emilie! I love your tutorial, and wanted to tell you that three years ago I made my own maid of honour hair accessory to wear to my sister's wedding. I attached it to a hair band, and it looked great! I like that you make all of your own stuff, like I do! My sister made her own wedding veil, and looked wonderful on her special day! Crafting our own hair accessories for the wedding sure helped us save money!
Thanks for the tutorial. My cousin is getting married and wants me to help her make a birdcage veil. I do alot of sewing but was feeling nervous about making a veil. Your video was very helpful! :)
I like the tutorial and I made one tonight for my wedding in two weeks (yikes!) FYI, I found that for my purposes, the best way to attach the netting to the comb was to gather the netting tighter on the edges and flat in the middle for about an inch. This way it lays flat in the middle and gives more volume on the edges.. when it was gathered evenly across, it stood straight up!
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I love any tricks you can offer me
@Landon Raylan Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you so much for this! Other tutorials were not working for my style of birdcage veil (with AB crystal edging) because they required taking some of the crystal portion off or didn't account for that edge. Yours is very clear and I got a usable veil on the first try! P.S. any chance you'd do a bandeau-style birdcage veil tutorial? I have 10" left of that crystal netting so I figure I can make a spare.
I love how this tutorial is so step by step, concise and has precise measurements & tips. I would love to see a version of this veil with a trio of fabric flowers - like a bandeau birdcage veil?
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have looked everywhere and the prices are so high for them. Do you know how I would attach a lace appliqué onto the netting? Again thank you for the tutorial, I can't wait to watch your other videos.
I really liked the veil. I want to do it. Please, I do not speak English very well. I need to know the measurements of the tulle: width; height and diagonal cutting. Thanks in advance for anyone who is willing to help me.
Love it. I don't know how old this video is but I think I would like to make these fascinaters a hobby. Thanks so much.

Where do you get the comb? I'm finding that to be the hardest part in making one for my sister.
