I don't know man. NC looked really good back in the day when I grinded it.
But a few months ago I re-grinded the line and the ship felt terrible. Couldn't hit even 3/9 shells in close range.
I played the NC recently and I hated it so much, I ended up getting the CLR near the end of the event and it’s been such a nice ship to play. Supposedly they’re “the same”.
It would be nice to see you playing the Bismark or Tirpitz this style that close
Yeah that shot on the De7 should've cracked his ship in half
I wonder sometimes if you aim how the game should work, rather than how it does work - like rigidly going for the waterline and losing half the salvo in the water, when you might get less frustration by aiming a bit higher on the ship and getting overall better damage (averaged over a game), even if you lose that rare dev strike.
I do that all the time.

@@matto9734 I'm not sure I follow your point... I'm not talking about testing dispersion in the training room, I'm saying I think playing BB can be less frustrating if you aim a bit higher by getting better average damage.
Love seeing that Balti getting salty in chat after yoloing. Also you weren't getting the big citadels at close range due to over-penning the citadel. It really feels like they need to remove the capability of over-penning citadels
The poor US BB Dispersion mechanics tend to ruin every game for me, good or bad. I've had matches where i pulled 150k but the dispersion tilted me so much that it didn't even matter. And then i had matches where i barely broke 25k, because the guns were inaccurate the entire match and not just some of the time. RNG and WG's decision to nerf US Ships accuracy is insane.
WG either needs to make US BB's more accurate at Long range, because they're suppose to be Mid-Long range. Not brawlers. Super Heavy shells were meant to plummet through deck and the lighter upper belt. This requires accuracy that reall US BB's have, but the game does not.
OR
Bring back US Ship AA and make them the premier AA Ships they use to be.
Instead, we have ships that use to be fun to play, but now the MBG's are incredibly inaccurate and the AA is shit. In fact, the only US Ship worth it's weight in Accuracy AND AA is the Worcester. But we all know that if you spec a Worcester for AA, you won't get CV's ~90% of the time.
You could cover any content/game and I would still love your videos. If you ever want to branch out I'll still be clicking on every video. Cheers!

Played the NC a bit on the Public Test Server, sold her back in the dawn of time and debating buying her back. (Having Massachusetts, enough of a challenge in the usual Tier X game, no reason except for the ASW. The 5km depth charge planes on Massachusetts still annoy the Hell out of me.)
Nope. I bought back Vladivostok fairly recently. 16” guns that shoot straight and penetrate what they hit. The American 16”, particularly the 16”/45 in Tier VIII & below (plus Kearsarge), don’t do that.
(Of course I was playing the un-buffed B hull, but it seems like a .05 sigma buff is so inconsequential to be not worth coding. Maybe that’s why they did the A hull and called it a day.)

Hector never got it’s repair party buff either. Only the torpedo range buff

Anybody knowing if there was another nerf on asymetric battles? WG wanted BBs nerfed but it feels like they nerfed overall XP as well (Moskva 1300xp old 900xp new on around 150k damage)
Without booster it’s a tiny nerf and with booster it’s a larger nerf the larger the booster

That dispersion rivals the German bb's... I don't play NC anymore, I play Bismarck/Tirpitz. At least with the Germans even though I can't hit the broadside of a barn, I can murder anyone out to 11.5km with my secondaries.
It's been a while since I played NC, but it seems my dispersion is better. This looks more like Mass

i even use range mode but still i get good sniper volleys but he isn't getting them??? (my NC dispersion is better).

You sacrificed 23% of your total damage to kill one CA. You can do that (heals permitting) 4 (maybe 5) more times. I haven't played enough to know if that's good math or not. Also, you're experienced enough to be a semi-pro; so it can't be you, it's gotta be the ship...
Am I wrong or is the Alabama a straight downgrade from the North Carolina? I got the Alabama last night in a crate and it seems to be straight worse
Only better thing is 3x torp protection but everything else is kinda meh.
I got 600 battles, 56% WR in Alabama. Not a downgrade, just diff. Bama does damage over time. It’s less accurate, but it has better armor, turning, & torp belt, so it can survive longer than NC & do just as much damage.

Lets get real. Its a Tier 8 that routinely gets put up against Tier 10 and it hits like a Cruiser. It needs a Sigma buff in a major way. There is only one class of guns, that are in the game for its class but was never produced. Yeah, it needs a Sigma buff badly. Now do the Iowa and see if it really is one Tier higher.

one of the worst boats iv played its trash slow, shoots like a shogun even at 6 km, weak gun dmg ,long reload, just a bad boat and constantly up tired to t10 love it
