tbh i found it quite boring and basic. it wasn't really funny either. and the whole idea of coco not wanting to change the game despite her being the exact opposite in shadowlands was a bit odd and caught me off guard a little. had to be an error or she changed since shadowlands happened. still though, im surprised it's the lowest rated episode so far
I feel like we need an episode focused on Coco's home life - exploring what it's like to be not only in a family as big as hers, but being the youngest of all those kids could be interesting. Especially when most of the characters we know either seem to be only children or have maybe one or two siblings. And seeing how Coco is at home could add some depth to her that I'm not sure I can say she has in the show so far?
Definitely, it'd be interesting to see how Bella and her husband parent the kids. It'd also be nice to see older kids too other than that kid working at the toy store, seeing as by the looks of it a good couple of Cocoa's older siblings are teenagers.
I feel this is an episode that will help very specific people, example, kids and adults who are/were excluded or do/did the excluding, and people who have anxiety of losing friends if things change. I get that to some people that would make it boring or bad, but it genuinely felt very real to me, as someone who was excluded from games as a kid and teen, and now as an adult have huge fears of changes in friendship activities being a sign of losing said friends. It did all of that very well.
I think there is that problem with Indy though, who now is in the precarious situation of having to balance wanting to be friends with Coco while doing things Coco doesn't like. I feel like they didn't actually pull through with that idea, that friends sometimes just grow apart. And while certainly not being a nice thing, it isn't really anybody's fault.
@@ikrIkarus It was about compromise, not growing apart. Coco was scared to lose Indy so she got stuck in wanting to play a game they both like (she realizes that herself). Indy kept inviting her to play, but that fear of change was stopping it.
@KaylaChan90 I think both really. Their interests are drifting apart but in order to not loose their friendship they compromise. Though I think the way this is achieved is kind of iffy. Like Coco is literally just menacingly staring at them from a distance, which prompts Indy to step in. Just imagine that in real life. It doesn't seem like the proper way to go about this. In the context of the game where everything is in good fun it's okay, I guess. But I think showing a more diplomatic approach would have been better, also putting greater emphasis on the lesson learned by Coco, with her coming up with a compromise instead of Indy
@@KaylaChan90 I'm not doubting that, I just think they could have done a better job in showing that. In my opinion, the way they have done it, Indy does most of the adapting and compromising. While for Coco things stay mostly the same, apart from Indy not being there full time and her gaining the title of "Pink Witch". I guess you can't rush change and such. But I think that's one reason why people have a hard time empathizing with Coco and hence the episode as a whole. Like it can come across as Coco being all like "you have to play with me" at first and then "you can do your own thing, but you have to find a way to make me happy too". I'am not saying that is the one true interpretation or something. I think that is just something people with struggles like you described possibly can slip into, understandably so and not by their own fault really, speaking from experience here. I think the episode just leans a little bit to much into that territory.
This might be a bit of a stretch, but I think Winton being a scarecrow could be a reference to “The Wizard of Oz” as he plays a loyal scarecrow who’s not very good at scaring crows, and is afraid of a wicked witch who terrorizes the land. Again, probably a stretch, but that’s just what I got from this.
I wonder if Coco's need for control is because she's used to a lot of rules at home. Going back to the theory that she is from a family of show poodles since the breed is not naturally pink.
Whenever we see Calypso, it is always in the POV of the kiddos. They do feel she is always right and she is this magical fairy godmother type of figure. She usually helps the kids and gives them good advice. Coco is right that she can be wrong though but to the kids, nah! Calypso is a GOAT! Lol. That is my take on her. She does feel magical.

This episode shows how some girls have problems trying to stand up to each other. As well as the factor some girls like to play house and others like to be adventurous. Also it shows that Coco is more of a motherly personality towards others.
I didn't hate this one. I won't say it is one I would recommend to a new viewer, but it has its place in Bluey's world, further exploring the dynamics of her friends and their friendships. Coco and Indy seem to be different in how and why they are. Indy seems more free spirit but has some firm requirements like dietary and we saw her household views in Mums & Dads which led to the conflict with Rusty. Coco had wanted to bend the rules in Shadowlands but learned she needs to keep to the rules, it's likely that stuck with her and so she is a lot more strict about how to play something. Differences in views can lead to conflict, and with Indy feeling the game was being too monotonous due to Coco wanting to stick to how it was, of course she would want to consider playing something else, but at the same time she didn't want to intentionally exclude Coco. But Coco wanting to stick to the rules caused her to lose out with Indy getting caught in the other game and her not wanting to change things. I like that Calypso came to her and asked her why she wanted to play Wild Girls with Indy to give her a different perspective of the situation. They were able to reach a compromise because Coco realised the most important part of the game was who she was playing it with rather than the game itself. So she was able to play with Indy while Indy still got to do something else and still play Wild Girls as well without having to choose anybody. With Coco being from such a large family, I feel like she might also be raised to be in less compromising situations sometimes. Especially if she is still the youngest and her older siblings were encouraged to give in to her. (Usually happens that way.)
-I feel like in this instance of Coco being inflexible with the plot of games, I think it would have been a great inclusion if they had her go off to do something for the game herself just before her friends found the others, and -her coming back and being thrown into an alien scenario completely different from what she expected. -Maybe cut to a few POV shots where we see that Coco is losing track of the others' interactions (possibly blurring the others' voice lines/overlapping them to be confusing) -and really showing Coco's overwhelmed feeling about suddenly being thrown into a change and feeling like she can't break back into the interaction/game. -Then, when she understandably lashes out because of this, she is unable to properly communicate her feelings and seems more angry about the game not going her way than what is actually going on. -Then, she runs off and Calypso finds her and teaches her the original message, but also places emphasis on how she should deal with her feelings and find a way to enjoy it again. -Then the episode ends with Coco rejoining the others and using her newfound skills to continue playing with them. The most important things is that we get a Honey cameo and that Pretzel spoke. But yeah, I was a bit disappointed that this episode reinforced my feelings that Coco is my least favourite of Bluey's friends. I am looking forward to TV Show next week just because we get another chance to see Bluey's friends. Even just a small thing such as meeting the Terrier's mum for the first time are reasons I love watching this show.
I cant help but empathize with coco bc she reminds me of me so much. I can also be a bit controlling and get upset when others in my group arent cooperating (aka doing what i tell them to) and for me i think it really stems from low self esteem and lack of confidence. I dont take risks if i can help it and i like to do things the same way every time. As a child i also felt like a third wheel most of my life within my friend groups which made me very possesive over certain friends. I still remember when one girl who i considered my best friend, was casually telling me about her best friend, some girl ive never even met. I felt so crushed learning i was nobody's favorite. With coco being in such a big family, i wonder if she feels the same way
it was good but i was waiting for an episode focused on the relationship between Coco and her siblings, showing why she is always bossing around. It would have been nice to have shown how being the youngest in a family of nine has affected the way Coco plays with other kids.
While I think the plot could’ve been better. I don’t have any major problems with this ep. When it comes to deep episodes, we have to remember that we were spoiled with 3B.
You said that this is the third episode of characters running across screen, when its the fourth! 1. The Flying Fox Kid in Promises 2. The grouchy granny in Granny Mobile 3. 'Olympia' and 'Melinda' in Relax. 4. Winton as a pig in Wild Girls.
I'm starting to feel that Calypso can just multiply herself and teleport herselves to children who need comforting. Or, maybe she has super hearing, 'cause some people are born with special abilities. I bet she could hear a child crying from a mile away. I think Coco never got what she wanted when she's playing with her family? Like I said, Calypso, is psychological, religious, cultured, kind, and intelligent.
8:48 This reminded me of Linus in the Peanuts Halloween special when he says "if" The Great Pumpkin comes and then retracts his statement out of fear that The Great Pumpkin won't come.
I don’t really know what you guys are talking about. This is a great episode. I guess I connected with Coco a bit more than answers since I have autism and that can make it harder than usual to adapt to change.
This episode brought a lot of memories playing as a kid and the crazy stuff we would come up with. My favorites were the time we wanted to set a tree on fire because we were cold and I had just learned that you could do it with sticks. No one had ever told me how long it took so no fire was made that day but we managed to make it a game.
One thing I do like was Winton pretending to be a pig because I work at a dog day care and have seen my fair share of both English and French bulldogs and they are absolutely pigs in dog bodies.
To me I'll rate this episode with an 6.5/10 and my sentence will be: Not really good or terrible episode but I seriously laughed at Coco was crying like I just laughed out loud.
Aussie girl margie, im hoping this will lead to pretzel getting a bigger role in the show in season 4, and maybe even getting his own focus episode, do you think that would be good ?
Love your videos I got a question: Chilli and Trixi say they play hockey but it looks more like they use bandy sticks Is it a mistake or do they call all stick games hockey?
i believe they do play bandy because of the ball being hit in Yoga Ball. They might call it hockey because it is considered a type of hockey. However it could also be street hockey, which is just regular hockey but with rollerblades and no ice, and they also play with a ball, but it does look more like a bandy stick.
I used to play Toilet Tag when I was younger! Was surprised to see it in Bluey since I'm not Australian so I didn't realize they had that game there lol
Personally, Wild Girls is only my 29th least favorite episode of the show so far (yes I rank and count!), and one I consider more "perfectly serviceable" rather than downright bad. I think an opening scene with Coco wanting to play a game with her sibling(s), but them forcing her to play a different game or something like that *really* would have elevated this episode into a spot amongst the better ones, but it's totally understandable if the Bluey crew couldn't design a new set or rig/voice new characters for it. I also think Octopus was a much better example of "games can change a little if they need to!" (That's my 18th favorite overall!)
Magic does not exist in Bluey, if we look and think about it carefully, all the scenes have their logical explanation But, at the eyes of the kids, yeah, Calypso is magical, and the show is always show us from the perspective of a child Soo, confirmed, Calypso is a fairy good parents 🤣
I thought it was a good episode, but it could have been better. The moral was good, and I liked how it had a spooky kind of feel to it. Overall, after Dragon, it's just not as exciting. But, they can't all be winners!
Aussie girl margie, to be honest this episode made me ship rusty and indy even more, showing how similar they are in wanting to make people happy all the time.
Weird, watching this movie made me feel nostalgic, i played games like this when i was a kid. I understand why others don't like it but I really liked it
I didn't like how coco was treating indy, and she told indy that calypso that she was wrong, teachers aren't wrong coco, and the fact you didn't apologize to her for that made me feel even worse,my favorite color is pink,so coco disappoints me in this episode and it hurts
As much as I love the episode, especially the Calypso coming out of nowhere part, I'll give it about a 4.2 - 4.7 out of 5 long dogs. Not 100% the very best episode, but I still love it.
i really enjoyed this episode and was pretty suprised when i saw that alot of people didnt really like this one that much (also i hope everyone has a good day!!!!)
One of my strongest memories of playing with other kids as a child was we were supposed to go on an adventure but the two girls who were playing the game with me decided I was going to be kidnapped and imprisoned and THEY were going to be the ones going on the adventure. I spent most of recess sitting on a curb under a tree just waiting because they were the only people I had to play with. I even went up to them at one point because I thought they forgot about me and they got mad that I broke the immersion and sent me back to "jail". I'm pretty sure by the time they found me, I was crying because they had isolated me all recess. Wild Girls brought back theses memories in full force, lol.
I honestly didn't see much wrong with this episode~ I actually really enjoyed it a lot, I find that I enjoy the episodes where the kids are in their imaginations and just playing games with one another, most notably Shadow Lands, that episode hit me hard and made me long for the days of being able to run around parks with my friends and pretend to be in a mystical land with characters and adventures~ Wild Girls had that same feeling of playing with friends and also finding out that a little change in games doesn't always mean the game will be much different. All and all I loved it for the nostalgic reasons of just wanting to be a kid again and play games with my friends at school at recess and lunch~
Look, I do agree…because there wasn’t the gut wrenching lesson in most eps BUT this is the exact situation my daughter in grade one deals with each and every day so I thought it was perfect!!
When you say welcome cheeky dogs I become cheeky dogs. I work for just put a clothes hanger and now it’s over my head it like right on my neck like I’m technically wearing it like thing.
I honestly really liked wild girls because indie and Coco are 2 very cute and are some of my favorite characters also I feel like coco should get her own episode because she is such an adorable lil dog and I think we need to know more about her. Also I also love Winton especially in the episode with Major Tom because he is just so derpy and funny in that episode. I think Coco is controlling because she is used to being the baby and the youngest and is used to being pampered.
It was nice seeing some inspiration form Gravity Falls because it is honestly one of my top 3 favourite TV series! Fun fact: I am an Australian who loves Vegemite on crumpets :)
Honest to God when I was watching this episode and Calypso appeared out of nowhere, I think I said something horrible, I was like "CALYPSO, WHERE DID YOU COME FROM S***". I swear she just heard Coco's Howls and just Teleported in 0.1 Seconds...
While the ep wasn't one of my favorites, i feel like some people are being overly harsh with it. maybe bc they thought it would link up with the space ep and are disappointed from that expectation? not sure. being torn between friends wanting to play different things is a common kid problem to have, and i think that kids will relate to it. i think it's just an ep mostly for kids, and that's fine.
My daughter was just the other day asking if bluey would do a Jesus episode and I had to talk her through that not being a likely possibility... there's so much that bluey will broach on tough topics but I had a feeling religion wouldn't be a thing.
I think Coco like I think she is a people pleaser. Okay because in season one she wanted to change the games in the episode shadow land. But then bluey told her that she shouldn't. She probably took that advice seriously. So later when she didn't was the game to change she, was most probably just thinking about the thing that bluey told her. Now thinking about it's not really people pleasing but it's more like since she has a lot of older siblings who tell her what do and stuff, shes probably used to people telling her what to do. Edit: Idk really know much about Bluey I kinda just started watching so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ this is just what I think :)
When my older sister was a kid (and I was too young to even remember it) she did actually get a stick poked into her eye, so uhh YEAH maybe it's better that's cut-
Is it confirmed that Coco is her parents last child? In baby race she has 8 older siblings but that was five/six years ago , they could have had another baby or more since then.
Around 7 years now, so it is possible. There is also a chance of her being an aunt if any of her oldest siblings have become adults and had kids of their own.
@@tranatkikomi6873 The end of baby race would have taken place around the kids first birthday which is why I was saying 5-6 years ago. Unless cause they are dogs we are saying they all walk around 4 weeks old (although Socks makes me think a years old is the way the show is going)
@@karencarter18042 Socks is basically a transitional phase between baby and toddler where she is 1, but is “grudge crawling” (on hands and feet) because it is faster while still getting the hang of walking, as well as teething (the whole biting thing). She was also able to speak a little, like clumsily saying “green capsicum” (“gleen capshmum”) and “ballewina!” while baby Bluey and Coco are still yet to speak at all despite taking their first steps.
@@tranatkikomi6873 Yeah so how old do you think Bluey was when she started walking? Cause dogs IRL walk with in weeks but the show is not following that pattern .
I dont think this was a BAD episode, it just cant compete with the better ones is all. I enjoyed the episode and really liked the pagan witch imagery there.
I don't like how coco was acting in this episode ethier,my favorite color is pink and one of my favorite characters is a bully =.= I like coco alot less after this episode
I’m kind a like them because my friends are really controlling and I’m usually left behind or pushed out of the game for not doing what I’m supposed to be doing because I just want to be my wild self
There is a 2 year old that goes to my shcool (my shcool is all grades+ daycare) and i cant where bluey shirts around her or she will scream "a bluey" for hours
When I watched it it reminded me of conservative/old fashioned families and how sometimes when a child wants to branch away to a more modern way of living or thinking parents can be all or nothing and even disown them In the end the mother allows her child to live where she wants but the child doesn't forget where she comes from and her roots and still visits the parent even if they may think or live different lifestyles

-Then, when she understandably lashes out because of this, she is unable to properly communicate her feelings and seems more angry about the game not going her way than what is actually going on.

I would say that Wild Girls is a pretty decent episode. It would have been better if we were to know more of their lives outside of school. ❤️
Im not sure but in shadowlands she wanted to bend the rules but in this ep she does want the other girls to bend the rules
she's the youngest out of 9 children
Yeah. I love the school episodes
While I think the plot could’ve been better. I don’t have any major problems with this ep. When it comes to deep episodes, we have to remember that we were spoiled with 3B.
Well, there’s no bandit.
The amount of people who watch the show for bandit is astonishing.
This is such a good theory! I totally I agree with you!
I really hope there would be an episode where we met cocos family and how she actually feels.
You said that this is the third episode of characters running across screen, when its the fourth!
1. The Flying Fox Kid in Promises
2. The grouchy granny in Granny Mobile
I relate to coco in that fact I struggle with changes in games and routines so that’s why I liked it 😭
8:48 This reminded me of Linus in the Peanuts Halloween special when he says "if" The Great Pumpkin comes and then retracts his statement out of fear that The Great Pumpkin won't come.
I don’t really know what you guys are talking about. This is a great episode. I guess I connected with Coco a bit more than answers since I have autism and that can make it harder than usual to adapt to change.
I meant to say, others not answers
This episode brought a lot of memories playing as a kid and the crazy stuff we would come up with. My favorites were the time we wanted to set a tree on fire because we were cold and I had just learned that you could do it with sticks. No one had ever told me how long it took so no fire was made that day but we managed to make it a game.
One thing I do like was Winton pretending to be a pig because I work at a dog day care and have seen my fair share of both English and French bulldogs and they are absolutely pigs in dog bodies.
To me I'll rate this episode with an 6.5/10 and my sentence will be:
Not really good or terrible episode but I seriously laughed at Coco was crying like I just laughed out loud.
Bruh when I heard Coco said: “Well maybe calypso is wrong”
I gasped dramatically and said: “CoCo!”
I actually played toilet tag growing up, I’m not surprised that it’s still in the game rotation because toilets are always gonna be funny to kids.
Calypso is like the wise old wolf hound
Aussie girl margie, im hoping this will lead to pretzel getting a bigger role in the show in season 4, and maybe even getting his own focus episode, do you think that would be good ?
Love your videos
I got a question:
Chilli and Trixi say they play hockey but it looks more like they use bandy sticks
Is it a mistake or do they call all stick games hockey?
i believe they do play bandy because of the ball being hit in Yoga Ball. They might call it hockey because it is considered a type of hockey.
However it could also be street hockey, which is just regular hockey but with rollerblades and no ice, and they also play with a ball, but it does look more like a bandy stick.
@@vrgrl Thank you :)
Could have been field hockey, we use a ball instead of a puck and usually play it running on a grassy field.
It looks like a hockey stick to me, but i could only see one side in the images I found , so couldn’t confirm only one side was flat.
Magic does not exist in Bluey, if we look and think about it carefully, all the scenes have their logical explanation
But, at the eyes of the kids, yeah, Calypso is magical, and the show is always show us from the perspective of a child Soo, confirmed, Calypso is a fairy good parents 🤣
Well Rusty's bio does say he rides a motorbike
Aussie girl margie, i hope joe doesn't stop giving blueys friends their own episodes because this one isnt considered the greatest.
Army was the best of those eps
I thought it was a good episode, but it could have been better. The moral was good, and I liked how it had a spooky kind of feel to it. Overall, after Dragon, it's just not as exciting. But, they can't all be winners!
I’m not going to lie, I thought this was going to be the one where we see Bluey, Indy, and Chloe put on masks and use squirt guns.
Gun use is prob another thing they're weird about/censoring [No mention of guns in the ARMY ep ??]
@@kumachan9311 Jasper did win a super soaker in Pass the Parcel. But they're usually used at home/the pool/the beach rather than at school.
I loved it. I see how my daughter plays with her friends, and it reminds me so much of that.
I don't think any episode of Bluey could ever be bad
Yeah. There a very few episodes I didn’t enjoy such as Charades.
Can't help thinking Wild Girls + Winton as a Pig was a bit of a "Lord of the flies" Ref [Rug Island, kinda was , too]
I think Coco just wants things to go fairly, because her siblings don't make things fair at home (due to her being the youngest of 9)
I think she isn’t actually magical, but she is to the kids and we are seeing the kids pov.
I like how it subtly touched on implicit bias the assumptions we make based on what we see but how those biases can be wrong
Toilet tag is a real game here in England 🏴
No way!!
I have a feeling Calypso seems more like a guide or sort of mind part the kids have that comforts and guides them. We saw that in Space with McKenzie
Tampoco me fascina este capitulo, pero sigue con esta linea que me encanta de que todos los capítulos son relevantes y tienen mucho trabajo detras ❤
Bluey me encanta demasiado T-T
Y lo peor es que al pasar cada temporada me gusta mas 😖
Hi there, I may not have watched it yet but I already like the facts. Nice work. Keep it up.
They should of incorporated more of calypso
Look, I do agree…because there wasn’t the gut wrenching lesson in most eps BUT this is the exact situation my daughter in grade one deals with each and every day so I thought it was perfect!!
Okay but where did you get your sweatshirt????? I NEED it
When you say welcome cheeky dogs I become cheeky dogs. I work for just put a clothes hanger and now it’s over my head it like right on my neck like I’m technically wearing it like thing.
where can i get amazing ear rings like the ones you always wear on your videos! great content btw :3
I like the theory that calypso is their fairy guardian or something idk
Girl I bet ludo studios needs to answer a lot of questions 😅😊😊
Does anyone know where to watch the new episodes of bluey (in America)?
There is 2 more episodes coming
I liked wild girls..
Flat Pack was amazing though - I loved how they touched on evolution
Why did they have bluey and jean luc running with sticks if they cant let coco and Chloe run with sticks here.
I feel that the episode didn’t really make sense as it was so confusing because we see coco then Indy like it all happens very fast
I want to be a character in Bluey.
how do you find these episodes past season 3 episode 27? I AM DYING TO KNOW!
Excuse me , if you can see any new episodes of bluey, then can you telecast new episodes of bluey in your channel
I actually loved this episode! Solid 4/5 long dogs
1:17 I remember playing that
What's the name of the app you use
This episode gave me big 'calypso's a ghost' vibes.
When my older sister was a kid (and I was too young to even remember it) she did actually get a stick poked into her eye, so uhh YEAH maybe it's better that's cut-
This was honestly my favorite episode
Is a good episode, not too deep or with an amazing lesson, but it's ok, not every episode have to be a ✨Master Piece of art✨
I would say this episode was… “Meh I guess it was okay”
I dont think this was a BAD episode, it just cant compete with the better ones is all. I enjoyed the episode and really liked the pagan witch imagery there.
Idk why Coco was behaving like that tho im giving it a 2 out of 5 long dogs ❤
I don't like how coco was acting in this episode ethier,my favorite color is pink and one of my favorite characters is a bully =.= I like coco alot less after this episode
@@eeveefennecfox fr i thought she was overated
@@eeveefennecfox she's like 7 bro, idk what else you'd expect
Personally, didn’t like this episode, thought it was a bit random, but I want to see an episode of Bluey where they go to the snow.
I’m kind a like them because my friends are really controlling and I’m usually left behind or pushed out of the game for not doing what I’m supposed to be doing because I just want to be my wild self
Margie I love 😍 your hair ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🖤🤎💘💝💗💓💕💖💞💘💟❣️
I just tried to enjoy every Bluey episode in my own way so if I watched this I think I would like wild girls maybe
There is a 2 year old that goes to my shcool (my shcool is all grades+ daycare) and i cant where bluey shirts around her or she will scream "a bluey" for hours
If this is the worst of Bluey, Bluey is amazing..
10 dips out of 20 dips
When I watched it it reminded me of conservative/old fashioned families and how sometimes when a child wants to branch away to a more modern way of living or thinking parents can be all or nothing and even disown them
In the end the mother allows her child to live where she wants but the child doesn't forget where she comes from and her roots and still visits the parent even if they may think or live different lifestyles
No, my only goes up to season three 27
I think it will be resolved in the next episode
