i wonder if bandit felt like the less favorite one, considering he is a middle child. But i can definitely see bluey thinking that she is not the fav, maybe when bingo was born and the attention was all around her.
i would go deeper and say that the ending with bluey still saying that she has a favorite, is because deep inside she still thinks her parents like her sister more than her.

Totally! Actually, he might have been at both sides of the situation. He is younger than Rad, so he most likely was the "favorite child", as younger kids need more attention than the older ones, so I have no doubt Rad felt like Bandit was their parents' favorite child. But when Stripe was born, Bandit became stranded as the middle child, unable to assert authority (because Rad is the oldest) and unable to demand attention (because Stripe is the youngest). Just that alone may have caused Bandit to develop an even bigger trauma than the one Bluey may have had.

idk, i kinds see it as a representation of bandits childhood too, as we see in fairytale, cuz bandit wasn't exactly treated right by grandpa bob and it might show as a sentiment to his childhood and how he forgave bluey after she apologized. howver, this is still a really good take on it and it seems really interesting because even if bluey is overlooked by her parents, she still treats bingo with love and care and it shows as a testament to her character!

I feel like middle children are the ones to experience both ends of the situation. They are both younger and older siblings, so at one time they were once favored, only to then lose that privilege to the younger sibling when they are born. That's what causes middle children to feel like they are invisible to their parents and end up becoming more independant and/or seek for more attention than the one they actually need. With Bandit, the way he found to deal with that was to tease Stripe heavily to the point Rad needing to intervene with the jinx game.

Bandit is the middle child and typically, the middle child does tend to get overlooked. Hmm, come to think of it, Bluey would have been the middle child if Chilli didn't have a miscarriage. Assuming of course that they continued to go on to have Bingo anyway. But I think in this case it is just that Bluey tends to base her games around social norms. In Mum School, Bluey explores what it is like to have one child with extra needs. In Neighbours, it's what do you do when your neighbour is encroaching on your personal space. And of course we have Promises, which delve into building trust by not deceiving each other. These games are very important because they explain a lot of the social rules that make up our society by letting Bluey act out the "wrong way" and coming to her own logical conclusion. Here in Kids, she learns why parents don't pick favourites.
Of course it should be noted that the presence of Mini Bluey tends to wash over Kids in that we clearly see Bandit and Chilli verbally express favouritism towards Bingo. If the episodes are "out of order" then perhaps Mini Bluey happened first and that is the trauma that she might have used to spur the game of Kids into action.

I can see it possible, as yeah, babies need more attention; I wonder if Mini Bluey adds to this given that, yeah, both parents agree two Bingos would've been great. I'm sure it's more working off that fans adore Bingo more than Bluey herself, but in show wise, it wasn't a good moment for the parents, especially as I don't feel they did enough to make up for it (could just be me). It actually makes me wish now that this ep came after Mini Bluey, as that could've really added to Bluey picking favorites and how's she's dealing with the apparent favoritism.

Hmmm I don’t think that Chili and Bandit favor Bingo but when Bingo was showing Bluey how she does chores with Bandit, they were trying to point out how Bingo was more considerate when it comes to doing chores and being organized. In the mini Bluey episode, Chili also pointed out how Bingo keeps her library books in one place so that they can return it while Bluey has her library books all over the house. I don’t think that they were trying to be malicious but it was a poorly worded sentence.

One thing I noted is that the episode "Kids" may also have caused some impact on Bandit, with him also possibly reliving the favorite child trauma. We can't forget that Bandit is a middle child, so he most likely was at both ends of the situation: being younger than Rad, he might have been at one time favored over him, but then receiving less attention when Stripe was born. By the way Bandit used to tease Stripe when they were kids, it's clear that the former had the typical middle child syndrome behavior. So it's not difficult to imagine he would feel his parents favored Stripe. In my experince as the oldest of three siblings, the older sibling tends to envy the sibling that is immediately younger than them. So that's why I think that, when Bluey told "Diddums" that "Snowdrop" was her favorite, Bandit really got hurt, as he came to relive the moment he thought Nana and Grandpa Bob liked Stripe more than him.

I think if the idea was that Bluey was reenacting her trauma from feeling unloved, the episode would make it more clear. Maybe if they started the episode in the house with Bluey looking at her’s and Bingo’s baby pictures so the audience would know that was on her mind
I’m sure every kid with a younger sibling goes through that, when there’s a baby in the house that needs more attention.
I would love another flashback episode like Baby Race where we see a younger Bluey and a baby Bingo, but the whole “there’s a new baby in the house” plot line is pretty overused in media

Bandit and Chili did admit that they preferred two Bingos during Mini Bluey and they never apologized, and like Bingo said, she’s just as much as a jerk as her sister but then again, all kids are jerks at the end of the day, but I do feel the mistake is on Bandit and Chili’s end: “Don’t let your kids do something that make you dislike them”.

Instead, on my part, here is a story written by me on how to represent minorities in Bluey's world and hope that it is a topic that is taken up for future episodes to educate and raise awareness among children on minorities and their different cultures:
The Heeler family is invited to a special community gathering dedicated to indigenous minorities from around the world, organized in the heart of Brisbane. Bluey, Bingo, and their parents, Bandit and Chilli, arrive with curiosity and excitement to participate in this unique event. The square is alive with flags, traditional music, and dances representing various indigenous cultures from around the world.
As they stroll around, they encounter different families representing various indigenous groups. They quickly notice the dingoes, who represent the Australian Aboriginal community. The dingoes are dressed in traditional clothing and are sharing stories around a symbolic fire, surrounded by rock art and paintings with typical Aboriginal motifs. One of the elder dingoes, Boori, warmly smiles at the Heeler family and invites them to join them in listening to an Aboriginal legend. Bluey and Bingo sit next to their new friends, Koori and Jarra, while the elder tells the story of the Rainbow Serpent, an Aboriginal mythological figure symbolizing the creation of the land and waters.
Soon after, the Heeler family meets a group of wolves, representing the Native American Plains Indians. They are wearing traditional clothing adorned with feathers and decorations, and are building a small tepee. One of the wolves, named Takoda, warmly greets the Heeler family and shares stories about the Great Eagle, a symbol of protection and freedom for his people. Bingo is fascinated by the way Takoda tells stories using drums and chants and asks if they can learn one of their dances. The wolves teach the children a simple dance that celebrates the harmony between the earth and the sky, and everyone starts dancing together.
As they explore further, Bluey notices a group of Arctic foxes, representing the Inuit of the Arctic. These canines, dressed in traditional furs, are building a small tent from seal skins and telling stories about whale hunting and life among the ice. Bluey is intrigued by their tales of survival in the freezing lands and asks to see their handmade toys made from bones and wood, which they use to teach children survival skills.
Finally, the Heeler family joins a group of African wild dogs, representing the indigenous culture of the Maasai people from Kenya. The African dogs are wearing colorful beads and are showcasing their traditional jumping dances. One of the Maasai, named Kito, invites Bluey and Bingo to try jumping with them, and the children give it a go, laughing and trying to reach the impressive heights of the Maasai jumpers.
The event culminates in a grand ceremony where all the communities come together for a final celebration. Each group shares something of their culture-from the Aboriginal songs of the dingoes, to the drums of the Plains Indians, to the Inuit and Maasai dances. Bluey and Bingo feel enriched by the experience, learning that indigenous cultures are full of stories, teachings, and values that connect everyone to the land and nature.
Chilli, moved, says: “It’s amazing how much we can learn from each other.” Bandit smiles and adds: “Every culture has a story to tell, just like ours.”

I don't know....mini bluey showed us,that they tend to favorite bingo and that kinda pissed me off after remembering they did learn this listen in this episode,so knowing that these 2 episodes exists,it doesn't look very good for banit literally gushing over bingo and big bingo, same with chili, what was that about? o.O I was like wait, didn't we learn this a while back that parents don't have favorites and I was like oh we did in the kids episode, shame on you both bandit and chili

It’s behavior they favor, not the kid. Which is fair.

Wait a second after this episode, in season 3 episode Mini Bluey it is shown that Bingo is a favorite child because in one of the scenarios the parents wanted 2 bingos and could get used to it

I don’t think they favor Bingo. Bingo, when it comes to some chores and scenarios, is more considerate than Bluey. I think it was just a poor worded comment that parents sometimes make.

4:57 reminds me of the anime .hack sign, there was an anime character that was stuck in a game,I can't remember what happened cause it's been so long since I've watched it,I think he was in some sort of coma and his in game self wasn't aware he was a real person due to the fact he lost his memories,I wonder whoever made homestruck was a .hack sign fan and thought it was a neat idea for a character to be stuck in a video game
