Remove scratches from turntable lid with automotive headlight polish

  • Using some Meguiar's PlastX polish we'll restore some turntable dust covers / lids. I used an old Ryobi 18v drill with some polishing pads that I snagged off Amazon.

    Wet sanding 1000 through 3000 then plastix 2.0 will provide a like new finish.....takes about 45 mins......I use pledge on a flannel cloth to hand buff after polishing.

    Tried this. Its just too damned hard to not scratch these darn things. Even microfiber is over hyped. That scratches too.

    any fine plastic polish will work. See your auto detailing shop

      It's called Meguiar's PlastX. It's specifically for plastic., You can get it at most auto parts stores or on Amazon.
