Remove scratches from turntable lid with automotive headlight polish

Using some Meguiar's PlastX polish we'll restore some turntable dust covers / lids. I used an old Ryobi 18v drill with some polishing pads that I snagged off Amazon.

Wet sanding 1000 through 3000 then plastix 2.0 will provide a like new finish.....takes about 45 mins......I use pledge on a flannel cloth to hand buff after polishing.

Tried this. Its just too damned hard to not scratch these darn things. Even microfiber is over hyped. That scratches too.
