- My college decision reaction video! I applied to 11 colleges: Harvard, Yale, MIT, Duke, Wash U, Rice, Tufts, Northwestern, BU, Emory, and Yale-NUS. I want to thank my teachers, friends, and family for all the support they have given me throughout this entire journey! And of course, I want to give thanks to God. Without him, nothing is possible.

Your personality is so positive and you do not come across as entitled as so many do who apply to the elite colleges. I used to do college guidance and I have to say if the choice is up to you, you’d be a perfect fit at Rice. And you wouldn’t need a new wardrobe.
I got rejected from a bunch of my top schools but I got into UNC-Chapel Hill and UCLA. Congrats on your placements Christina. Amazing stuff!!

Congrats on Northwestern and all of your other schools! I am biased b/c I'm an ED admit, but I really hope you choose to attend NU :) however, no matter where you go it's a great choice and they are lucky to have you. Best of luck to you and your sister and I hope to see you on campus next year!

I'm really sorry about MIT. There is always grad school if that's in your plans. Possible transfer if you really want to.
