Actually, you just might get off the waitlist for Harvard because of the Coronavirus. Other students may take a gap year. Either way you have awesome colleges to choose from😊👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Congratulations! Dentistry is one of the most rewarding and challenging things I’ve ever done. My suggestion is to do the cheapest option with VCU and Penn. I graduated in 2016 with 200k in debt and that was with only dental school debt and it was a state school. I’ll have it paid off with 2 more years, but it’s been HARD to pay off. I know some of my classmates who had to pay out of state prices of 300-400k and they will be in their mid-thirties before they’ll have it paid off. This may be too late of a comment :) also I don’t know why this came up on my main page as a 29 year old woman, but I’m glad it did!
I think judging by the look of her house, her parents have the tuition covered...

Congrats! If you really want to get off the waitlist, send the school a letter. You were waitlisted at some of the top schools and that's an accomplishment itself. Watch Nick Chae's video on how to get off the college waitlist. He was waitlisted at Princeton and he currently is a student there.

Dartmouth and Cornell those are top schools as well. The only only school slightly better that she didn’t get into is Harvard

Congrats on all of your admissions! UPENN Bio Dental Program is going to be one of my top choices when I apply this coming fall, was there an essay with that and special requirements that you need to have? I've heard that they are selective but not much people apply for it.
It's a great choice! There are some essays and special requirements, and I'll be making a video soon explaining all about it, so make sure to keep an eye out for that!

I'm definitely going to do a stats vid. But I think I'm going to post it after I commit to a college. That video with everything will be coming by June at least. It'll be before next year's applications for sure (as well as advice for applications)!

William & Mary is a FANTASTIC school! (I was a bit jet lagged in the video, but I was suuuuper excited!) I think in the essay for last year, they said that you could write anything. It was super free form. It was probably one of the hardest essays for me because I didn't know where to start. I guess my biggest advice is that if you aren't funny in real life, don't try to be funny in the essay! I almost tried too hard because one of the prompts was to make them laugh. It's super cliche, but be yourself! Also, applying to 19 is a good idea if you're good with writing essays quickly... but for me.... it was sooooooo hard! But I am actually glad I did it because I do like all the prompts.
Hey! I'm out of state and got into William and Mary around February w/ the James Monroe scholarship (had to withdraw from 1693 bc I had gotten in ED2 to WashU). My advice would be to stand out in your optional W&M essay by being super unique!
I also applied to 21, and very nearly did 23. I promise it's possible. :)

its so weird to see penn of pennsylvania bcuz i live like an hour away its not that big or cool tbh and ithnk its dangerous bcuz philly is near by and theres alot of violence there so idky i wouldn't recommend it lol nj suvks 😂 but we are the leading state in the nation on education!

That's true. VT's med school is pretty good! But I applied to dental school and the only dental school in Virginia is at VCU.
