- Hi, Everyone! In this video, I show how I bind the scalloped edges of a quilt. This is the second video in this series- the link to the first video is below. In this video, I make bias binding, sew the binding to the front of the quilt with a sewing machine, and sew the binding to the back of the quilt by hand.
A few things I refer to in the video-

I came up with the setting myself and will probably write it up in the near future (hopefully by my June Show & Tell).
If you have any questions, leave them in the comments.
Thanks for watching!

I absolutely love this quilt, Jessica! You are creating great memories for your children too! I know they will love having this on their bed for their birthdays! What a wonderful Mom you are to do this for them. Xoxo and thank you for sharing it😅❤
Thank you so much!
Love this scalloped edge quilt, Jessica! I am about to do this on my hexi quilt. I wonder if it would help to take a tiny snip into the curves prior to attaching the binding for a little more give? I will definitely make diagonal binding with this technique! ❤ Bobbie
Fantastic video! Thank you so much for showing from the attaching through the hand stitching. I appreciated that so much. I thought that the binding at the in-points would end up being a reversal of the outside corners of square quilts.
Absolutely beautiful. Your instructions are so detailed and I appreciate it. Thanks so much for all you do
Absolutely adorable ❤
Thank you!
You’re binding is beautiful! 😍 what a cute way to finish the quilt

That is really cute! Thanks for the video.
Great tutorial! What is your birthday backing fabric? Do you have a tutorial for making/cutting the scallops? It's on my to do list, but have learned that yet.
It is a fabric by Michael Miller. I think it was called Birthday Party. It is an older one. The scallop tutorial is here on my channel.
I love this quilt and the fabric that you chose. I am wondering what fabric you used for the background on the front of the quilt?
Thanks! I used a mix of Lori Holt Bee Backgrounds fabrics.
