I was the youngest of the youngest so my grandmother was quite old by the time I was 8 yo - she did give me lemon drops when we visited when they were living in a senior living - 75 years ago or so. She was so nice.

Come to think of it I was frantically eating & enjoying eating my Granny’s foods that I never once said thank you & hugs her. THANKS A TRILLION granny. I missed your cooking & especially you. Watching this granny made me tears up. God blesses her. At her age she is still working. I am so amazed at the speed she works for her age. It says a lot about her Brain & her physical healths. It is because she keeps active is what made her strong & healthy. The Breakfast she prepared made me so hungry & wants to eat more. I already stuffed myself while watching her cook. But still hungry.

Обжариваем хлеб на сковороде с обеих сторон и ложим начинку с яйцами на сковороду и сверху хлеб прижимает. Этот рецепт с советских времен, только вместо нарезного нам мама в школу со своим хлебом из печи делала. А сейчас я внукам на завтрак частенько делаю. Вкусно и сытно, особенно если делать это на настоящем сливочном масле, предварительно смазать сковороду растительным, это чтобы масло не горело. Приятного вам аппетита.

She doesn't have to work. I saw her having an interview before. She didn't have urge to move after her husband died. She didn't want to stay home all day long because staying home made her thinking of her late husband constantly. They used to work together at this toast stool so she decided to come out again. Watching people actively walking by made her feel alive and that's why she doesn't quit this job.
