I just love how Ice is such an underused element in the series and mostly weaker monsters use it. Yet one of the most powerful monsters in the series so far's main element usage is Ice.
After having listened to so many of the other themes from this specific title, nothing comes close to the feeling of dread when you hear this track. Everything else has an almost fantastical, whimsical nature to it. This just has this air of like... you are now the hunted, desperately fighting the hunter.

that demonic volcanic diablos can make to the game...he pretty much same like diablos but in volcano and have AOE expolsion kinda similiar with bloodbath diablos except fire voljang can make too...just like rajang but AOE since everything in MHFO is AOE based diorekksu(electric tigrex) can make to the game....he is slow enough than other MHFO that again relies on AOE to land a hit. There's alot more MHFO that mainline able with a bit tweak but i pick these three for now cant hope much

@Luke Fraczek Not to fuel the flame for the realism/fantasy issue, but Duremudira's reclassification according to the MHF website (which unfortunately has also been taken down) states that it's origins were simply about a mysterious invader of the Sky Corridor while the ancient civilization was configuring the tower with traps to protect their treasures from thieves Basically, Duremudira invaded and took over the Sky Corridor for mysterious reasons by making it it's lair. Not a man made abomination as people have theorized numerous times. There's more info about it on Banned Lagiacrus' Twitter page but this just about sums up what I know
There are no expedition hunts on Frontier. Unknown first appeared during an event Akura Vashimu quest, then started appearing in random hunts until eventually having it's own quests.

I would've preferred him to remain unclassified and later explained a genetically made dragon crafted to hunt elder dragons. Because the way his body is it doesn't seem natural. Especially the wings.

The Jai nope. Bro imo the game is pretty balances. You can have a lot skill active in the same time. But its monster can kill you in one hit. Enough pair for me. You're op but monster more op than you. So you must Train your skill to survive.
@FinalHunter there are definitely some that fit, like lavasioth and hypnocatrice, but a majority of them have designs and attacks that don't fit well with the main series.

I'm sure it only preys on smaller elder dragons, like Kushala Daora and Teostra/Lunstra. I really doubt it would stand a change against the "big ones" Dalamadur, White Fatalis, Dire Miralis, Raviente, Dishfoura (or whatever you say his name)
Social Experiment Inc this maybe one of many of such weapons but I doubt this is the weapon itself. This is more like a guard/centurion rather than a weapon.

I'm under the impression size and ferocity wouldn't be entirely related to this if it does indeed hunt elder dragons. If a group of four can hunt a mountain sized dragon and slay it and a group of sixteen to sixty-ish can hunt a monster the size of three small islands that can literally scar tge surface of the world, a smaller monster can probably hunt a much larger one if it is strong enough and smart enough. At least that's how I see it.
SILVERBRO13 Frontier. Raviente and it's more ferocious variant, White(?) Raviente. The difference between them is that the second rav slept for so long that it lost most of its body's nutrients and natural energy reserves, making it extremely hungry, which is very bad if it isn't stopped quickly.

Kirin's horn has allowed it to control its lightning, other than that, he has a normal horse/unicorn-like appearance and abilities. White Fatalis supposed to have full control over its dragon element, and the majority of big OOOPEEE things you hear about him is just literal folklore, although he's still a majir threat to everything. Rajang is Rajang. In the old interviews, they said they wanted to put a monster in their games who's like Akuma from street fighter. And they more than succeeded.

Either I'ma god and can beat a majority of world's monsters in like 2-7 minutes. Or the game is too easy Arch Tempered Nami was a great start still pretty easy though... I'm not bragging just want something harder there needs to be a equal ground for people like me and others extreme behemoth was ok I guess... But wasn't that hard. Hopefully Alatreon will live up to the black dragon hype when he does come to world. I do miss him not as much as Dire Miralis tho....

@FinalHunter In official consideration without a doubt. Frontier will be a series for me to try out someday. That is until I set up the proper requirements in order to fully understand what I'm doing before I play. The paying feature however is a different kind of responsibility I'm not yet confident enough to follow. Even with it's most powerful contenders like Dhisufiroa, Shantien, Duremudira, Guanzorumu, Eruzerion, and many others along the line of total insanity. I'll take what I can get
P.S. This is in regards to a reoccurring theme in the Monster Hunter fan-base where if one says anything good about any other Monster Hunter game besides World, others will take it as an attack against World. I am a huge fan of Monster Hunter World myself, but there are some aspects of other Monster Hunter games that are more appealing in my opinion.
A lot of main series players think that way, it isn't just restricted to World. 90% of them haven't even touched Frontier, nor can name a single monster and automatically tell the world it's a shit game and shouldn't be allowed to be called Monster Hunter. While some of these monsters don't belong in the main series, I believe a lot of them should make an appearance once again. Duremurdia is certainly one of them.
So i recently heard that theyre gonna discontinue the online services for Monster Hunter Frontier on December 2019 in Japan...though I've never played it before (even tho I wish its in English) I kinda felt sad. Monsters and fighting mechanics are way too different compared to what I've played from the main series and of course, amazed me. Just felt sad that such amazing exclusive features had to end. Hope these cool shits will come back to probably a new monster hunter game.
I got the liberty of playing back in 2016-2018. Great game got up to a bit of g rank and bounced off. The best mh to date by far, kept it's charm and soul. Intense fights, great combat, amazing online experience maybe except communicating 😅. RIP.
man as over the top as frontier's fight's where the monsters designs and themes were good. If Capcom just dialed it back with the impossible to dodge attacks from these monsters i'm sure they would be great to have in future games

@Luke Fraczek Not to fuel the flame for the realism/fantasy issue, but Duremudira's reclassification according to the MHF website (which unfortunately has also been taken down) states that it's origins were simply about a mysterious invader of the Sky Corridor while the ancient civilization was configuring the tower with traps to protect their treasures from thieves
Basically, Duremudira invaded and took over the Sky Corridor for mysterious reasons by making it it's lair. Not a man made abomination as people have theorized numerous times.

There are no expedition hunts on Frontier.
Unknown first appeared during an event Akura Vashimu quest, then started appearing in random hunts until eventually having it's own quests.

Just found out that Duremudira is an elder dragon and not an unclassified anymore. Interesting indeed.
I would've preferred him to remain unclassified and later explained a genetically made dragon crafted to hunt elder dragons. Because the way his body is it doesn't seem natural. Especially the wings.

@FinalHunter there are definitely some that fit, like lavasioth and hypnocatrice, but a majority of them have designs and attacks that don't fit well with the main series.

I'm under the impression size and ferocity wouldn't be entirely related to this if it does indeed hunt elder dragons. If a group of four can hunt a mountain sized dragon and slay it and a group of sixteen to sixty-ish can hunt a monster the size of three small islands that can literally scar tge surface of the world, a smaller monster can probably hunt a much larger one if it is strong enough and smart enough. At least that's how I see it.

SILVERBRO13 Frontier. Raviente and it's more ferocious variant, White(?) Raviente. The difference between them is that the second rav slept for so long that it lost most of its body's nutrients and natural energy reserves, making it extremely hungry, which is very bad if it isn't stopped quickly.
Zender Zagato The only elder dragon's I can think of that this thing won't be able to hunt is Raviente,Dhisufiroa,Shanthien and The Conquest War Fatalis species

Rajang is Rajang. In the old interviews, they said they wanted to put a monster in their games who's like Akuma from street fighter. And they more than succeeded.
@@tibik.8407 I guess that's why I like frontier more I'm a masochist when it comes to difficulty I play bullet hells and eat dark souls for breakfast it's honestly not that hard, Capcom took away frontier And the challenge it provided for me not even Doom Eternal ultra nightmare can satisfy me, I am at loss rn and nearly need a extremely difficult game. Either I'ma god and can beat a majority of world's monsters in like 2-7 minutes. Or the game is too easy Arch Tempered Nami was a great start still pretty easy though... I'm not bragging just want something harder there needs to be a equal ground for people like me and others extreme behemoth was ok I guess... But wasn't that hard. Hopefully Alatreon will live up to the black dragon hype when he does come to world. I do miss him not as much as Dire Miralis tho....

That is until I set up the proper requirements in order to fully understand what I'm doing before I play. The paying feature however is a different kind of responsibility I'm not yet confident enough to follow. Even with it's most powerful contenders like Dhisufiroa, Shantien, Duremudira, Guanzorumu, Eruzerion, and many others along the line of total insanity. I'll take what I can get

P.S. This is in regards to a reoccurring theme in the Monster Hunter fan-base where if one says anything good about any other Monster Hunter game besides World, others will take it as an attack against World.
I am a huge fan of Monster Hunter World myself, but there are some aspects of other Monster Hunter games that are more appealing in my opinion.
A lot of main series players think that way, it isn't just restricted to World. 90% of them haven't even touched Frontier, nor can name a single monster and automatically tell the world it's a shit game and shouldn't be allowed to be called Monster Hunter.
While some of these monsters don't belong in the main series, I believe a lot of them should make an appearance once again. Duremurdia is certainly one of them.

So i recently heard that theyre gonna discontinue the online services for Monster Hunter Frontier on December 2019 in Japan...though I've never played it before (even tho I wish its in English) I kinda felt sad.
Monsters and fighting mechanics are way too different compared to what I've played from the main series and of course, amazed me.
Just felt sad that such amazing exclusive features had to end.
Hope these cool shits will come back to probably a new monster hunter game.

I got the liberty of playing back in 2016-2018. Great game got up to a bit of g rank and bounced off. The best mh to date by far, kept it's charm and soul. Intense fights, great combat, amazing online experience maybe except communicating 😅. RIP.

Attacks from Frontier monsters were NOT impossible to dodge. Much to my surprise as a matter of fact, it was actually quite simple
