I love this series of interviews. Been binging and I’m so inspired by these women! How great is Victoria’s start to tennis? It’s definitely her destiny to be a tennis player. Her evolution as a tennis player and person in general has been remarkable to see! It’s great how becoming a mom (single mom, nonetheless) has changed her. Always rooting for her now. Go get ‘em, Vika!
What a great interview. Evert is a natural at this. I can't wait for her to talk to Evonne Goolagong-Cawley. I hope it's just one to one. They cover so much tennis history between them.
I really appreciate the interviewing style. Vika is just so relatable. I appreciate her need to pay it forward and how she addresses the challenges in her life. WTA is in excellent hands. Continued success Vika! Side note, maybe Leo will date Alexis? LOL
At the time when Vika and Serena were trading the #1 ranking between them, I loved watching Vika go toe to toe with Serena, as she was the only person at that time who could go toe to toe with Serena. Vika can produce winners from any position on the court. Just in awe of the power she produces seemingly so effortlessly.
Haven't seen anyone so fearless like her whenever there's Serena to play on other side of the net....🙆 She's the rarest of rare payers who don't give a damn, if they have Serena to play against...☝️However, her respect, love & affection for Serena is also like no one else's...🤷 I'll be on the moon once she gets her hands on US Open Trophy one day which she has lost three times & the saddest part is she was leading at scoreboards on all those three occasions in the finales (2 times against her best friend on tour Serena & another time at last year's US Open against Osaka).
@@akizaizinskii I had given my comment only about fearlessness of Azarenka against one of the GOATs (that's Serena). Vika must have lost 30 something matches to Serena as you said, but every single time she had gone down fighting her heart out valiantly. So, there were no easy matches even for a Stalwart like as big as Serena...☝️ Besides, Vika & Serena have had tons of matches to develop such a rivalry between the two when both of them were in their prime. Whereas, as you said, Naomi & Serena have had only four to five encounters that too when Serena is no more near to her usual best post-marriage/child. To authenticate this fact about Serena, her not so good performances even in Slams (which she considers of utmost importance) may be referred to, since she bacame Mom & joined the tour back. Though she made it through to enough finals of GSs after having a baby, still in Serena's own perception, anything less than a title is poorest of results. I believe I have made myself clearer now...🤷

By the way, as admitted by Osaka herself (after lifting the US Open Trophy against Vika last year) during Trophy Ceremony as well as post-match press conference, she feels least willing to play tenacious Vika among all the active players on tour. That's just for the simple reason that it irritates her to play against Vika for the sheer toughness which she possesses whenever she is in-form & healthy. Thus she also never likes her match-ups with Azarenka...🤔
No wonder shes such a fighter on court. She went to America at 10 without her parents. Life trained her to be tough. To me shes the biggest fighter from her era (Dont consider Serena from her era because she was much older).
Well nice interview but the truth is that Vika is natural and woman with unmatched talent , iam sure she will achieve many more success in tennis career.
Google has Vika Azarenka playing at around 8:45 tomorrow morning EST, I’m worried that having a late first round match on Wednesday instead of on Monday might be a wrinkle in Vika’s fortnight. I’ll be pulling for you Azarenka Get Some my Belarusian Amazon warrior…….🎾👏🏻😤👀
She is determined and is underrated but when she looses she fakes injury or drama and that’s sad .. She matches Serena’s game and she is making awesome comeback ...Hope she holds the trophies again with son LEO
I've always admired Vika's determination and fight on court.
Same! She's always had a passion and feistiness on court which I love to watch
My Belarusian queen! 😍A very modest wise beautiful conversation we just had😍 thank you both! 😍

Osaka is way more fearless than Azarenka. Victoria has lost like 30 matches to Serena, lmao. Naomi is 3-1 against Serena and 2-0 in Slams.

So honest, true and real. Champion player, fabulous player. Great to see her happy and completely relaxed and competing
I never forget the compassion she showed for Daria Kasatkina when Daria injured her ankle.
One of my favorite players. Always love to watch her.
I am so happy to see Victoria back in tennis. My only begin at a live tennis match was at the US Open and her playing Serena in the Championship game.
Another great interview. Fascinating to hear how Victoria suddenly could not put herself first and the impact that had .
Chris Evert: eterna admiración por ti en todos los aspectos.
Vika: has demostrado una enorme fortaleza dentro y fuera de las canchas. Enhorabuena.
Chrissy is a tremendous interviewer and great role model too so many young girls and boys.
She’s my role model in every possible way. What a champ inside and outside the courts ❤️
Love you Vika!!! It would be awesome make an episode with Maria Sharapova :)
Yasss. SHARAPOVA♥️
They won’t. This is just for players who finished the year ranked #1.
@@akizaizinskii Burnnnnnn!
Love Vika honest hard working hope she can pick up few more big tournaments all the best to you 👍

She really is a terrific role model for any young person. I wish her continued success in her career! Go Vika!
Next time sharapova 🙇♂️🙇♂️
know what THANK U FOR NOT PLAYING BACKGROUND MUSIC!!!
Vika is such a fighter. 👏👏👏
Evert throwing the shade to Graf, Seles, Sabatini, and Sanchez. Ha
Those set of players were definitely very self centered. Monica came out of that mould during her second innings though.
Love it! Chrissie throwing shade at steffi!!!
And Monica and Gaby and Sanchez .

Wish Chris would interview her own big rivals like Austin and Goolagong, or even dare I say Margaret court
She interviewed Martina. I doubt Austin would agree. Chris and Austin don't get along.

Love you Vika.

Hoping to see her win another slam :) Vika is awesome. Someone would have to title an article, "Mama Bear Wins 3rd Grand Slam Title." lol
Nice!
É muito linda, adoro
Leo is a cutie pie! Lol
Where’s the epic music
Oh wow! Vika is even more gorgeous with her hair down!

She said that a big part of the game is mental but if she really feels that Sarena Williams was intimidated by her - I would call it more delusional.
Probably meant serena feared her. Which is reasonable.
What was the devastating news she talks about in 2016 after Miami?
Her pregnancy
@@momskitchen6153 No she said devastating news before her pregnancy
