Me personally, liked the first Version better. If you look in the video it lags on keeping up with the speed when riding. MPH accuracy??? Could be that I am in the mountains and GPS is not getting good service, but the green light is on and my mobile map/tracking has no issues in the area. Not sure how accurate any of the telemetry is, but it is not like I would rely on anything specific on this part of the App...I have no use on a dirt bike to see speed... just out of curiosity I even tried it, no interest in it from here on out. I use the App mainly for maintenance intervals and Mapping that's all I need. Just an opinion.

What year is your bike? Do you have the cell phone app or the power tune hand held?

How did you mount that device to your bar pad?

I just had my phone holder with a zip tie through the belt clip and around bar pad then sinched it down tight. I don't keep it on, just for this one video then cut zip tie and took it off.
I watched your videos before I purchased my bike. When I got it my first two maps I installed were the ones you showed in your "walk around" video. I still run your singletrack map all the time. I tried other singletrack/detuned type maps, but I like the one you run the best....so thanks for that video.

I have a 2023 250fx but haven’t been able to connect. I called Yamaha and was told they’re working on updating the tuner app. My question to you is are you on a2023

What map setting were you on? Wild or mild?

"JCR Aggressive Map" running it on MAP1 that is why the light is "OUT". When the blue light is
"on" it would be Map2 the milder map. But this was MAP1.

@pete8149 thanks! I don't have that map switch on my bike. I have a 2020 WR250. In Canada the 2020 WRs didn't come stock them. That's why I asked. I ordered the GYTR Performance kit and MAP handlebar switch. Have you tried the "mild" setting ?

Yes I use both Maps all the time. When singletrack I was running a more detuned map called "woods 2 map"....but lately I have been running the "hard terrain map" on map 2 for singletrack....this map comes with the bike.
You will feel the difference if you load the same map in both map1 and map2....that will give you feel of the difference.
