Aging myself here - I cannot quantify the deathgrip that this song had on us (the original) in high school. Having one of my favorite bands go nuts with it a decade and some change later is a treat.
I am definitely aging myself when I say I missed the Cascada version as I was in my early forties at that time and was more into American minimalist Classical Music at the time.
@@johncrwarner Allow me to de-age all of you when I say that Cascada wasn't the original and it was by far the worst of the multitude of covers that were ever made of that song. The original was a more-than-decent rock ballad in the early 90s and it took a great effort from our fav callboy band to top the original.
@@indus3270 Thank you, but at sixty one and being an aging punk until 1995 and then moving into Classical alone. I still feel old - I also was careful in using the term version for the Cascada rendition as I know it was a cover / reworking of another song.
I just watched this. I have never heard of Electric Callboy. I don't know how I feel about this, but I am going to listen to more of it. Nice reaction.
Tbf though Electric Callboy changed a lot of the lyrics too so you could still say it’s a cover of the original, just a different cover. Defo closer in style to Cascada than Reilly though
For me, a Cover was always to replay a Chorus with different instruments, voices and rhythm. The lyrics could also be in this list, but are not relevant, when it comes to a Trial.
Maggie Reilly’s is still the original, regardless of which parts were covered by Cascada. There wouldn’t have been a cover by Cascada without the original song existing in the first place
@@RatedRsUniverse I'll put it this way, maybe it'll be easier to convey. Dave Matthews covers Bob Dyan's song All Along The Watchtower live, but he's covering Jimi Hendrix's version. Makes sense? No one is debating the original (I don't see how people thought that), but EC is not covering the original tune. They're covering the cover.
it be castle rothstein in germany l also love nico and kevin's bromance(l totally ship them) kevin also has great legs and l also love nico's sweet voice it be a contrast to kevin's gutteral voice and the dance sequence be mad cute
I would say a different, but great song of theirs to check out is Prism. It is one of my favorite songs, and it is a pretty cool song to motivate yourself with.
Some songs with their old singer, Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler: Crystals, MC Thunder, MC Thunder II, The Scene, Best Day, My Own Summer, Voodoo Circus, Muffin Purper-Gurk edit: MC Thunder II is with Nico not Sushi
Fun Fact: The castle, where they filmed it, can be rented for weddings for example. Or to celebrate the most beautiful Bromance ever! Also, TEKKNO Style means they covered it in the music style of their latest album. It was supposed to be on the album but the Record Label refused. But after their huge success the Record Label allowed to show it!
Loving that you're hearing this as your 'first version' of the song. (kinda like me, with dang near every LZ song, lol) Lastly: Charis and Calendars. Never Not Funny. bye kiddo
Germans... :D It is a new style of music. They try to do Techno and 80s/90s metal together. In Germany they are so hyped. Finally something new :D and for my taste.... GEIL
Hi again Charis. I like your weirdo energy a lot. Maybe it stems from your upbringing or theater or something. Also this absolutely is about their bromance. It is obvious. Since he came to this band the vibe has been much more funnier. Would like to take you out for date some day. Unfortunately we have that little thing called ocean between us. 😥😢😭 Heh. I swim from Finland if you say yes. 🤣

the handshake sounded so wrong without context .
Favorite part of the music video: When it's revealed that that was Kevin asleep on the bed. The bromance between Niko and Kevin is amazing.
Ohhhhh I didn’t even get that
It was not Kevin, it was a woman. They just shot it that way to make stupid people think it was Kevin. 😬
@CharisSellick EC videos are always worth watching 3 or 4 times, because there's so much detail to take in

I refuse to believe that there was a rehearsal. This bromance is a flawless one take in my head canon
"I'm always trying to figure out what my favorite electric callboy song has been"
Yes.
The answer is yes. 😂
I just watched this. I have never heard of Electric Callboy. I don't know how I feel about this, but I am going to listen to more of it. Nice reaction.
1 of The Best.. Ever !!!!! Loooove them guys...😅😅😅😅
it's the Schillo Bros who do the majority of their videos. Pascal (guitarist) & Oliver Schillo.
“The scene” is an old school banger!!
For anyone that says Maggie Reilly did the original, this is Cascada's version that they're covering. Cascada only covered the chorus, not the verses.

Yes and no. There is no song by Cascada without Maggie Reilly's original.

seeing them in Boston this October!!!
Can't wait to see them in February. These guys never miss!
Their choreography is always 10/10.
Tekkno is the name of their last album and this song was supposed to be included, but it didn't make it.
"Put it in a blender and you'll get a remix!" < wow! this one was deep! :) Thanks for your reaction! Cheers from Germany.
the new Last Resort Reimagined cover by falling in reverse is a must watch!
Electric callboy did a really fun cover of cinema a while ago that was pretty awesome! Highly recommend
Mindreader was NOT the Schillo brothers (who do most of their videos). But you're right that they like to vary things up a lot.

It's worth listening to the original with Sushi, then Nico's unplugged version. Both are stellar.
@@RolandDeschain1 my cats name is Sushi and I was really confused
@@CharisSellick Sorry, 'Sushi' is the name of the band's original singer, before Nico joined. His real name is Sebastian Bieler.
@@RolandDeschain1 his name is Sebastuan Bisler, tbh
Its very much a cover - Cascada, early 2000's it was the greatest banger the world had ever known
And that was a Cover of Maggie Rilly (1992's) everytime we touch.
@@argantyr5154 Cascada only covered the chorus and sampled parts of the melody. The rest is original. It's not a full-on cover
After every new EC video your are happier than before.
Btw mindreader different video producer.

Would love her reaction to Muffin Purper-Gurk, specifically. That is just gold.
Rehab and Nice Boi are good songs, too
i'd really love to see your reaction to the devil within (acoustic) by electric callboy
I'm pretty sure that's not the noise of the handshake at the end 😅
👀
Tekkno is the name of the new(est) album
Where were the beatiful girls .. the formulae!!! 😂
WE WERE FOOLED.
Honestly the fact I didn’t mention that is pretty wild.
There was one beautiful ( and a little bit crazy) girl 👍🤘 reacting to it...♥️🎤
