There’s a lot of people living off the grid that bath in our rivers and lochs (lakes) but in the winter that’s a really bad idea and when we get really cold weather not even possible, in many parts over here we get snow too, our local iron monger makes a thing he calls a snowpot which takes a long time to get ready but can fit two skinny adults or one extra large one lol health and safety would never let company’s mass produce them here

Our hot water heater went down in the coldest part of winter. We used a tea kettle to heat up the water and 5 gallon bucket. We just used a plastic cup to pour water on our body and wash cloth. It works.

Yes of course. Only bring in the water and pour it into the bathtub. Well you don't even need a bathtub. We have showers so I boiled a couple gallons of water, poured it in a clean bucket, mixed it with some cold water to make warm water. I got my kid to stand up in the shower, used a plastic cup to throw some water at him, lathered up with soap and rinse, doesn't even take that much water and He didn't have to be out naked in freezing temperatures.

Yes of course. Only bring in the water and pour it into the bathtub. Well you don't even need a bathtub. We have showers so I boiled a couple gallons of water, poured it in a clean bucket, mixed it with some cold water to make warm water. I got my kid to stand up in the shower, used a plastic cup to throw some water at him, lathered up with soap and rinse, doesn't even take that much water and He didn't have to be out naked in freezing temperatures.
The kids didn’t really seem to mind.

Haha- so cute! I remember my mum putting my little cousin into a pot and into the river. He didn't know how to swim and was scared but still wanted to go into the water so she put him in the pot and he floated around - of course someone at all times had to hold the pot straight so that it wouldn't tip. 😂😂😂

This is actually a good idea incase something like this happens where you have no running water and snow outside lol I remember when I was little and our hot water heater stopped working and my mom couldn't afford to buy a new one let alone get it fixed so we'd boil tap water and fill up the bath tub to shower until she was able to.
