    Top vid Andy … would you say using a TKS edge short kit with 15/17 duraslip would be ok for carp to 8lb fishing shalla 👍

      Ideally want a long kit, gives it a bit more cushioning and you can just let the fish exit the peg a bit more calmly.

    You say you need a long lash for carp what if your catching both f1s and carp

      Make your decision off what the main species in the venue is or what you want to target. Fishing like this will lead to more missed bites from F1s, whereas a more F1 based approach may mean spooking bigger carp and possibly losing them due to scaled down gear.
