Rip But game isnt dead Menmas Tera Is going strong Its private Server also yu wrong on Server population on last 2 days Cuz tera has 2 Lounchers steam and gameforge one there where so many ppl online last 2 days many ppl had tera on original louncher \\\ and why hell you showing levil 1 zone ahahahahah if you dont have atleast levil 65 just dont
This game will always have a place in my heart. This game was a lot of fun and the combat was the best I’ve seen. Spent a lot of time over the last 10+ years on this game and I’ll miss it for sure. A Tera 2, with modern day updates would be amazing
I had the same experience. I was keep looking back and seeking for the same experience, rich in fun and people, and I always find myself forgetting looking back because... there was no one.
I tried to come back and play it but it's a solo game now. I grinded solo like 50 levels and saw 2 other people. Just wasn't worth the time, shame because the combat did feel good.
Never played Tera, but it's always sad to see one go, somewhere people sweat, made friends, made enemies, celebrated gains, and chilled. RIP Tera, you will be missed.
I tried to go back but honestly they ruined it with the new starting zone and how you just seemed to fly through zones to level to max level. It was so disappointing when I came back after being gone for so long.
I tried to go back to play to awhile ago and they had deleted all of my characters. >:^( When they switched from the NA publisher they gave players 2 months to change accounts without sending many even an email. They were scumbags, but I guess it wouldn't have mattered much either way given the news.
TERA will always have a special place in my heart. Never loved an MMO so much as this that made me love tanking as a Lancer, and PVP with a Zerk, and make some friends along the way. RIP TERA
I played a bunch of Tera back in the day. My experience probably mirrors most of yours. If only we had a combat system like Tera in a lore-rich universe like WoW or ESO.
Couldn't agree more man... Played Tera on release for the first few months, combat was so engaging and fun but in the end the story and lore was dry and couldn't hold me. I respect what they tried to do though.
ESO would be way bigger if it would just overhaul the outdated skyrim copy and paste combat, the games world and story is one of the best but the combat has always put me off playing long term
7:35 funny thing is, I started playing Tera in 2018 and despite of the “outdated” graphics, I felt the same exact way. Legit one of the first MMORPG’s I’ve ever played, I definitely chose a great one. Now I’m a level 63 Castanic Warrior still trying to complete the main story 😭
Tera is what made me appreciate support roles in any mmos or any games with the holy trinity. The game made me enjoy being a priest. Before, whenever I play dungeons, I just focused on damaging the boss and watching my health. When I tried Tera's priest, it made me rethink my approaches. It showed me just how technical a support is. I had to watch my teammates health, watch for the cooldown on my buffs and debuffs, I had to keep checking for opportunities that would help the group, researching strategies to be even more efficient as a support. Basically, playing as a priest gave life and excitement to playing the game. Its because of my experience as a support on Tera that its allowed me to appreciate playing supports on other MMOs and MOBAs . TERA will always have a special place in my heart ^_^
I used to have a very weak laptop that couldn't handle many players on the screen (Velika was a slideshow). So i picked a DPS and played first ~20 levels solo. Then i had to delete the game to free some space. I wanted to play healer when i upgrade to a better PC. Almost two years ago finally got a new laptop and found out the state of the game
A lot of players have already made the move to private servers , players everywhere making the world feel alive again. Tera was my first mmo that I really got into back in 2014, I remember getting into Teamspeak calls with my guild and doing raids, pvp, gvg and just hanging out. Fun times, glad I can still experience some of those things on private servers but old Tera and the current version don't feel the same. Good memories were made, R.I.P TERA
Soloing BAMs while leveling in the vanilla version was a feeling no other MMO has replicated so far. Especially the fun feeling of dodging and blocking everything with a warrior. Also the Shandra Manaya fight was legendary
I fucking loved the MCHM. That was the only dungeon to ever test me so much. Played as a Zerker so I had to really get good with my evasive smash and axe block animation canceling. No other game has ever made me feel such a rush in their PvE content. I truly miss this game and that dungeon. Glad I am not the only one who thought the fight was legendary.
Oh man! manaya was fucking brilliant. I will forever consider myself blessed to have been apart of the original manaya spam. Even if it was done on my Slayer at the time, lol. And yeah... back before relic weapons were a thing and soloing bams was actually a challenge of sorts, it felt so damn good. I remember spending literally hours a day just killing bams and not getting tired of it. Now you can 1shot them and have been able to for quite some time. What a sad waste of potential.
I still like watching your old content. you said alot of funny things and I like a lot of the reactions you have to things that happen in the games you played
One of those “those were the days” moment. Made a guild with friends I no longer keep in contact with, played almost everyday and voice called till late at night. Missed those times, but now those are just simpler times in my life. [Edit] Just realised how long I’ve been watching LazyPeon, which prob started from his Tera first impression, great to see how much he has evolved his content. Excited to see more of what he will bring to the MMO community.
Long Post about my experience with TERA, just kinda a look into why some got away or stay away from it. But still fond memories. I'm gonna try not to be to mean about it, but I absolutely loved this game when it went free to play, hate what it became. Early TERA was the true TERA experience I feel, the combat was so fluid it was a change to tab target and made the player feels powerful from all the combos and abilities you had, and the adventures you could have with friends made it all the sweeter with how dungeons used to be, and you got to enjoy the world at the pace you wanted. I even remember seeing Role Players in the fields having a makeshift picnic one day when I got home from school, I actually sat and enjoyed my time with them. It was fun! They opened my eyes with how healers could be offensive/defensive at the same time, Mystic had a really interesting healing/supporting mechanic with motes (orbs you left on the ground that allies could pick up that gave health and mana, mana really good for melees that needed to build mana to unleash combos) and that was my absolute favorite class. The story used to actually be quite solid in the past, well at least more put together than the mess that was the current beginning. Still doable, just kinda strange how often you jump from one part to another now. The world and zones used to be insanely gorgeous for it's time, I still think some zones hold up now! Especially lush fantasy forests and the dark edgy areas. Dungeon designs used to be so thematic and badass at the time. Enemies while some were recolors had very unique designs from other MMOs, the design team really loved pushing the boundaries of the demonic/monster aesthetic on most mobs/bosses. Overall great experience! The P2W aspect I think was there in little increments nothing to major but everything started changing once they announced the new class, Reaper. Now lots of players were absolutely excited, overjoyed even. New class? To Tera? The MMO with the hype combat system???? AMAZING!!!! "Reaper involves using chain scythes to rip and tear your enemies to pieces, use dark magic to reap the enemies souls in flashy exciting moves. Become the true Grim Reaper!" "POOOOOG!!!" "Reaper will only be available for the Elin race." ".......wait what." That was only the beginning of the huge tidal wave of this will become Waifu simulator. Then eventually the almighty Elin simulator. Instead of releasing content updates or patching more often you found cosmetics being added almost every week. All catered towards the female characters being very intricate dresses and very risque outfits that showed lots of skin, while most times male characters would get is some kinda suit or shorts. Ok we can deal with that not to pressed I mean most MMOs have male players who like to look at their "hot fantasy babe". Another class is announced! "OH! Holy shit another one?? I wonder what it's gonna be like, It's probably gonna be so badass with the way Reaper release went. It's gotta be like a tank or something ooo maybe a new healer? Is it gonna be race specific again (I hope not)? If so I wonder which race will get it? Maybe they'll do a "every race gets an exclusive class" since Elins got one? I'm so excited~! "The Gunner is a new ranged DPS! Use your massive gun to launch rockets to blow things sky high, summons helper robots to protect you, use lasers and devastate the enemies in a big Kaboom!" "SWEEEET! NEW DPS! God I wonder what i-" "Gunner is only available to be played by Female Castanic and Female Elf" ".......why...? Why not also give it to the Male counterparts?? I'm so confused." Thus began my leave of the game. I saw where this was going. Every update seemed to cater more and more to the whales of the game. Expensive lewd cosmetics for females would come out more and more. Upgrade mats for endgame gear were flooding the cash shop more and more as well. The grinding became heavier and heavier, so why not just spend $30 to save you days of potential grind. "Come on son it's only $30 bucks heheheh" Ugh. The game had massive amount of content removed so they don't have to update any of it when a major update went through. Lots of early game dungeons that you would match for just were either straight up removed or made solo, so that removed any of the community feel to try and reach out to others gone. The game became easier and easier to play with them trying to rush people to the end so they could spend money trying to get upgrades and such on end game gear. Before you would had to find other players out and about for some "WANTED: _____" quests, think like WoW. Now everything practically dies in 3 hits unless it's a boss. People were dropping the game like moldy bread over a trash can. It became the exact thing I was afraid of. Then came all of the newer classes, Ninja (Elin only surprise, you really make the most weeb class and make it for only one race...I see), Brawler (only Human Female on release, took them 3 count it 3 whole years to eventually do Human male, then was later given to Elin ( big surprise there we all know why), then given to Poppuri for some reason (probably as a joke thing i wouldn't doubt). Legit none of the actual massive guys who look like they could take a hit could be it......), and last Valkyrie (Female Castanic, then added Elin (.....really.)). No new healers anywhere to be seen so they became more and more rare due to lack of updates as well for most of the older classes. It was just a mess. The game became Elins R' Us, they could be every class, the cosmetic team pushed for SO MANY cute/lewd outfits for them, they were the faces in ads and trailers most of the time, I heard they had gotten their own model update not sure if that's true. So the game lost and lots of players and most people who had played told potential players to stay away from the mess that it is currently. The whole "Turn back, turn back now. It's dangerous to go there. Turn Baaaack." I'm honestly really sad to see it go, but this isn't Tera anymore. It's not. It was changed to be a cash cow that was milked till the last drop. The world and fantasy of it gone. I wish the players that truly love the game the best. You stuck by it or maybe you left, regardless thank you for being on this journey with the rest of us. I salute to you as a fellow solider of the Valkyon Federation.
I remember watching your journey to max level tera series, when you said it was 6 years ago I couldn't believe it. Ive been watchign since you did wow machinimas in MoP and its been a good ride.
It all depends on if Krafton decides to give BlueHole another chance. The NVIDIA leak is legitimate, but the games on the list are never guaranteed to come out. If Krafton or someone decides to fund BlueHole it's more likely Tera 2 will release. But right now due to Elyon's flop and Tera's downhill tumble chances aren't looking good.
Tera was my first mmo when I was a kid. I remember installing it on an old computer and could get 2-5 fps, however I had no other choice. It was an amazing world with interesting dungeons and challenges. Later on I got a graphics card and noticed how beautiful the game was. I also made some friends online and lost others in real life. It's so sad to see the game go. At least I had the habit of taking screenshots.
Ye true haha my bro had brutal comp back then and i had a shit one so i would play on my with 4 fps until my bro left then i would get on his comp and be like wow look at this fcking graphics xDD
Being a Lancer holding the line vs one of those big open monsters with 2 friends going crazy was so much fun, one mistake and we were dead. Satisfying!
I will really miss this game, maybe i'm just nostalgic cause i played the game in the best years of my life but still, there was something about this game that really did it for me
Corsair's stronghold (pvp battleground) was excellent. There were so many strategies in order to siege or defend the castle successfully in time. The music was also top-notch, many cities had its dedicated theme. Art style, menus and user interface was also really polished and good looking, unlike bdo's. They really nailed the concept of fantasy, the world felt magical in a way and that made it stand out from the other more normal-looking games out there.
makes me sad to see it go. It had the best combat system in a MMORPG to date imo. What it lacked in gameplay it made up for in combat. So much potential. I hope that something similar with good gameplay comes out soon.
@@joeh858 Oh I'm sorry that you live in a bubble, little dude. As a matter of fact, you're plain wrong. It doesn't matter if you think you're right just like how people who think the world is flat can say anything they like, it won't ever change the fact that they're wrong. And you, you're objectively wrong. You also call me a 'weeb', but you have no idea what that word means, otherwise you wouldn't have used that word. If you reply, you confirm that everything I wrote is factually accurate by virtue of your low IQ behavior. You can thank me later.
Man, this game will always have a special place in my heart. I remember sinking so much time and making so many friends in Tera back when it was still being played.
"Look How They Massacred My Boy" quote fits really well with Tera. I really liked the game at the beginning, but slowly they turned It into absolute f2p joke, that made no sense.
I remember terra really well. I played it a ton over the years and adored the combat. I could easily spend ages grinding just because it was fun. I remember being part of a guild. it was one that had random signs put up all over the place. I'm still in the discord for it though its long dead. I'll hafta check out the game one last time. It really helped kick-start my love of mmorpgs along with aion and lotro. Rip Terra.
Mystic will always be the best healing/support class for me. I still remember when everyone left the party and only me and 1 dps were left and my minion tanked the last boss and I healed the DPS and we managed to finish the dungeon. Amazing class. Super useful minions and fun mechanics of healing. The one in Elyon is not even close.
@@Aurinkohirvi Naaaaaah it was alright. It was one of the older bossess, it was immobile and mostly what you needed to do was follow the mechanics and dodge things. It took ages to kill it that way. If anything it was that one boss's boring design, rather than the whole game. Mystic is very situational and you weren't able to pull it off on every boss.
Played Tera in 2015 to 2016 it was hella fun. There was a time when I logged in to play the castle siege pvp almost exclusively because it was just the only thing that kept me going after being burnt from gear progression. Also playing Elin was to your advantage because in terms of pvp Elins had the smallest hitboxes making them harder to hit compared to say baraka or humans.
TERA imo to this day still had the best combat in an MMORPG to date. BDO & Lost ark are solid, but didn't nail the feel like TERA did. It's sad because TERA went into a IV drip of content so early on into its lifespan. I'm still happy my shameless plug advertisement board is eternalized on your first TERA video aswell KEKW
Completely agree with you, BDO combat is fun but it couldn't nail the fluid comboing that tera's combat did at high level just wish bluehole gave tera the treatment it deserved.
An mmo that only was kept from early shutdown imo due to its excellent action combat during an era of tab targeting mmos edit: chars got removed unless you transferred them when gameforge took over tera NA. As for tera EU idk
this made me really emotional. not only did i sink thousands of hours into this game as a young teen, i even remember watching all your videos on this game. and then i watched the bdo ones and moved to playing bdo, but i will always look back fondly on this game
TERA melted my motherboard a week into launch, which took me about a week to get replaced. Thanks to that setback though, I happened to end up questing in the same tunnels fighting BAMs as the friend I've been playing games with for the last 10 years. TERA may be dead, but Samael will live on forever in our hearts. New generation gamers think too small and smell like pigling.
Remember playing Tera at release. Such a great experience. Back when every new MMO was the "WoW Killer". Big part of our WoW guild switched to Tera and had a great time for a few months b4 it became somewhat stale. Miss those times, back when the genre was still fully alive..... Feelsbadman...
I dident play Tera much got to max level then quit because I was pretty lost once I got there. The combat was amazing leveling up. Always sad when a mmo shutdown dosent matter if you played it or not and Tera was beloved by many so I guess it hurts even more for those that played it :(
The biggest memory of Tera I have is me and friend on pig mount dressed in fancy suit and sunglasses, like agents, and our weapons were food item. We were dressed that way and went around PVPing everyone we see questing and getting the whole server hunting us down. It was good times.
Damn when you showed all the mounts and outfits I really got sad to see so much quality work going away. Really hope they sell the assets to future games because the armors/weapons are some of the coolest I've seen in any mmo. Rip TERA thanks for the fun!!
Tera came to the SEA region pretty late. at the time of it's early release periods Internet wasn't as fast as todays for me to even try to download and play using VPN. and by the time it finally gets a global release and also a SEA region release better games has come out with better graphics and combat such as Black Desert, so I never get that "Holy shit" feelings when riding that pegasus.
Perc here. 5 years I've played this game and still feeling nostalgic seeing it. All the achievements. 2 times canyon conquerer. You know it would never lost hype if it werent for they removed Lab of terror grind. Everything started there. Mfs were doing massive income from costumes but guess their greed never fulfilled so they put all the p2w shite. Anyways I will always remember tera as the best mmo I've ever played. RIP TERA 😢
After 15k hours of Tera, I can proudly say that I do not regret spending that time on the game. The memories will forever be with me. Finally, I can rest easy and move on, knowing I won't be able to return to it anymore.
I really liked the combat ( the combat system was excellent), the way it looked was nice characters, clothing, world, etc. The Bosses always felt substantial like you were killing something huge. The game had a more epic scale feel to it. I also liked the whimsy in the game, seems like it never took itself too seriously. It's a hard one to beat! What's a good MMO for a player with almost no time that's similar to Tera?
Awww Rip TERA. I'll miss ya. One of the first mmo's that I enjoyed playing. I had played everquest for a while and a couple others but TERA was the one of the first that really got me
Tera in it's early stages was awesome. I remember having a lot of fun hunting BAM's and doing dungeons with friends. Sadly they turned it into garbage over time.
Tera was the first mmo I ever played that I joined a guild in. I'll never forget how hyped I was for it to release. I'll always remember noob island, the pvp battlegrounds, the kettle chip crunchy combat and yes...those outfits. finally soloing a BAM was something else too (back when this was a feat). This game will always have a very special place in my heart for real. Watching this video gave me a ton of nostalgia (real authentic nostalgia) of all the good times I had in the game. I was stumped at the desert in the game and a random player gave me a hand, quested with me for a bit...then I joined the guild. Best decision I ever made in the game. Goodbye Tera, you will always be my first actual mmo and the name of all my mmo characters even to this day.
Even though I only have less then a hundred hours in the game, still makes me sad that such a pillar of modern mmo is announced dead. I think such sadness does not come from the grief for the game itself, but rather come from the harbinger of the MMO genre as a whole.
Legit going to miss this game. It was my second MMO (my first was Mabinogi) and I absolutely loved it. Even the basic ass story was great. The music was grand, the combat was phenomenal, and the community was absolutely fantastic, fun, and welcoming. I played well before the game went full on free to play and pay to win, well before the cash shop and cosmetics and crazy mounts and it was genuinely enjoyable and a wonderful world that I managed to fully immerse myself in. RIP Tera, you will be missed.
Shame about you dismissing the elins. They were the most played race not because "haha fbi xd" but because they had the smallest hitbox in the game by far. Doing dungeons and PvP with an elin gave you an insane advantage over other races due to their tiny hitbox. This lead to everyone using elins for everything: healing, tanking (easier to dodge boss attacks), mages, dps, etc.
Also if i remember correctly the attack of berkser Elins had a slighty bigger range so if you wanted to play bersek, especialy in pvp elins had a big advantage. I still would have play one without the advantage KEK
Official tera closes June 30 but most people are playing on a private server called Menma's Tera has little and has a pretty decent population people from eu and na and other regions gather there as you get everything just by playing
I remember playing this game back at 2015 with a few friends. it was super fun getting into dungeons instantly and leveling/gearing up fast. I also remember discovering the grunge genre at that time and whenever I listen to grunge today I get nostalgic.
TBH the worst thing about the Elin race is that you were forced to play it if you wanted to play as some of the newer fan favorite classes because they were only available as Elin. It was super disturbing to me.
"Tera couldn't compare to newer action combat mmos like black desert online" Black desert came out 2 years after. Black desert is 8 years old. Black desert is almost a decade old. Feel old yet?
0:37 believe it or not the character concept art for Vindictus is one of the best things to come out of that game. Concept art was so good the devs went crazy and put no clothes on their female character. what a huge loss, I know they need TA to sell games in Korea/Asia but the concept art with all the medieval plate armor was amazing. Vindictus also uses the Source engine from Valve that is why it looks so good. ex. is Delia's concept art 1, Miri Concept Art 1 and 2, Kai Concept Art 1, Fiona Concept Art 4
As the guild leader of the longest running RP guild in the game we are holding a farewell party at Mystel Server EU on 26th to say our goodbyes to the game. I have played TERA for over a decade and I would be lying if I said it shutting down didn't make me sad. Still, everything nice must come to an end eventually. Maybe next I can finally try that FF 14 trial xD
Oh man... The first MMO I've ever played, and to this day I still remember so much from it. Zooming all over the place in my police car, smacking absolutely everything with a giant pair of fists... It was such a blast, I'm sad to see it go even tho I haven't gotten back to it in so long.
Played TERA Europe since 2013, been on and off since 2015, I logged in last month no one was there, took videos and photos of my 9 year old main character, a female elf archer named Zerase. Tera was so fun back in those days and I loved the PVP esp the 20v20 one.
I will always remember Poporia and its Halloweeny style, my first time seeing Velica (i had a similar reaction with you) my horse riding times in Arcadia exploring, which was the most peaceful thing i ve done in video games at that time, and the BAMs. Oh the BAMs.
I spent a few months subbed to it when it first came out. Around that time my business was taking off so I stopped playing it. Fast forward to 2018, I started playing it again on playstation. I ended up liking it more with how the combat played out on controller. I still play it casually with friends on ps5 and haven't heard anything about it being shut down on consoles yet.
I remember playing the battlegrounds pvp with a few friends back when it was super popular. Was so much fun trying to get the most kills out of all of us. Damn do I miss those days. RIP Tera.
I still remember playing this when it first launched, played it for months, but eventually went back to SWTOR. Tried it a few more times over the years after that, and only recently went back to it about a year ago. I had no idea that they had changed formats to Steam, but I tried logging back into the old launcher, didn't work, used Steam and all my characters were wiped. Never touched it again. I still have fond memories of the game and their action combat system. As mentioned, at the time, the graphics were some of the best. Good game and good times.
I will always remember doing multiplayer dungeons by myself using mystic, I never had friends and queuing up for them wasn't a thing in 2013 and I got to lvl 60 by myself just me and my summons. It took me a few hours but it was fun and I got all the loot. Beating BAMs and getting mount rewards or rare items in game was also really fun. My Fav class had to be Brawler tho, I was so hyped when they made the class have males so I made mine and casually got the name DIO. My neighbours had to hear a lot of MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA! at 3 AM when I was doing dungeons, also the golden aura when using the skills was menacing and looked like I used "ZA WARUDO!". It was a meme game and the costumes were cool. Never paid shit for anything I had and it was F2P friendly unlike other games nowadays.
BAM's...I loved that about the game. I was a pre-purchase back in the day, I really enjoyed the game even solo leveling as a healer and later as a tank. This game will always have a special place in my heart. The combat is something I hope to see again in another mmorpg in the future.
I'll always miss this game once it goes away, even if I didn't play it in like 5 years by now. Maybe even more. It's just so nostalgic, brings back memories of my highschool days, going into corsairs with some friends, pushing back attackers to their spawn point in round one, than making a joke saying "I've been here receantly" when round 2 starts.
Holy shit you got me good when you showed some of our old ManUP footage. The war's we fought were sooo good, like when it went f2p and our 50 man guild was fighting off 160 fresh Brazilian players. The nexus wars, man the open world pvp/GvG is what made that game feel alive and they killed it and the game died not long after.
Tera was such a big part of my life back in the day. So many friends and connections were made. Sad to see it go, especially in such a horrendous state of abandonment. RIP Tera
I remember how I found a random guy from the guild but we had this amazing bond and we did SOOOO many achievements together, were exploring the world to get even the secret achievements and cool/rare rewards for them. Damn this was a damn good journey with him. I wonder how he doing right now, sadly we lost connection
Tera was the only MMO I maxed out on, +12 archetype weapon and armors back in the days. Had bunch of costumes and toons in all classes grinding elite dailies and grinding nexus and pvp. I eventually got bored or busy and quit the game long time ago, but this is probably the only mmo that I truly enjoyed back in the days.
Loved TERA, probably my first or second most played MMO. Had several characters as you do, but my main one was a Warrior which somehow I manged to get the name Kirito. Support roles were also pretty fun although not as good as my personal top, which was Wildstar. Never thought I'd see the plaza being empty, there were always so many people around
RIP TERA
It will always live on in our hearts. F.
please do a vid on palworlds when it comes out it looks efing amazing and hilarious
Nice Haikyu music.
Blame Josh Strife Hayes, Slayer of MMORPGs for that. XD
TERA had the two most enjoyable healers I've ever played in an mmo.
Agreed. I really appreciated TERA healing when I started FF14.
@@Irimu_ This. People i know that like healing, love 14s healers because you're not just standing there with your head up your ass as a healbot
i was a fat panda healer
Sorcerer and Mercenary from Star Wars TOR were the best for me.
Innit, legit cant get over how fun healing is in tera, cant compare to any other game tbh
This game will always have a place in my heart. This game was a lot of fun and the combat was the best I’ve seen. Spent a lot of time over the last 10+ years on this game and I’ll miss it for sure. A Tera 2, with modern day updates would be amazing
Tera will always have a special place in my heart but when I went back and play it again literally no one was there. It was only a matter of time
I had the same experience.
I love Tera's lore. Very original. Bloodborne took some inspiration from it.
It was hugely addictive. Is it just not playable at all any more or just unsupported?
@@sextonlovecraft English PC version is shutting down in a month. Korean PC version and English Console version are staying.

Try HoTS, Moba, it has powerful healers.
Pretty sure u are a Soraka main
Damn I forgot about Teamspeak
@@TboneTherezzmuttWhat about Roger Wilco? That was my first team chat app
Soloing BAMs while leveling in the vanilla version was a feeling no other MMO has replicated so far. Especially the fun feeling of dodging and blocking everything with a warrior.
Also the Shandra Manaya fight was legendary
YES The OG BAM fights were amazing and felt rewarding. was soo upset when they changed it
I fucking loved the MCHM.
What a sad waste of potential.
i rmb my first class being warrior but sadly, when i played, they only have NA server and I need to play on high ping
Its being brought back to life at strifetera.com
I still like watching your old content. you said alot of funny things
and I like a lot of the reactions you have to things that happen in the games you played
Tera was the game that opened MMo for me, I loved the time I Spent on there, my heart weeps for thoes who still played. it was fun right guys
I agree man, some of my most fond memories as a kid playing that game on release for days on end. RIP.
oh a stolen game opened mmo for you? poor soul
Exact same story with me. It didn't happen to be "Indecisive Entropy" on Tempest Reach (original server) did it?
@@Ursusrex25 i don’t remember the details anymore unfortunately.
Become the true Grim Reaper!" "POOOOOG!!!"
"Reaper will only be available for the Elin race."
".......wait what."
That was only the beginning of the huge tidal wave of this will become Waifu simulator.
NEW DPS! God I wonder what i-"
"Gunner is only available to be played by Female Castanic and Female Elf" ".......why...? Why not also give it to the Male counterparts?? I'm so confused."
Thus began my leave of the game.
Turn Baaaack."
I'm honestly really sad to see it go, but this isn't Tera anymore.
Damm. I left early on and then came back. So, I missed out on seeing the actual transition. From the sounds of it, I'm thankful I didn't.
I remember watching your journey to max level tera series, when you said it was 6 years ago I couldn't believe it. Ive been watchign since you did wow machinimas in MoP and its been a good ride.
TERA
REMEMBER TERA BATTLE ARENA?! :D
@@ThatShirOwO Yes, lmao. Never played a single round of it. Koreans totally out of touch with their own game.
@@TERAPvP I had luck. I had exactly 1 day time. of recording, before the mode was dead. Enough for a meme video xD
@@ThatShirOwO I havn't even queued for it. Was just in the main lobby.
I would love to see a modern sequel to tera, although I could do with about 1000% less pay to win.
Well there is Elyon...but yeah...
@@oOTheJaNOo funny, elyion is indeed something like TERA2 and yet noone plays it.
Noone even gave it a chance... i wonder why
@@akhsdenlew1861 for me, I cant enlarge any of the UI or quest text, so I cant even give it a chance which really sucks. :/
or RaiderZ. or Metin 2
Satisfying!
I will really miss this game, maybe i'm just nostalgic cause i played the game in the best years of my life but still, there was something about this game that really did it for me
this game dead atm right ?
@@AsBusiness-jm1rb yup sadly
Of all the MMO's I played Tera is still the best experience I had there. Nothing could even come close to it . RIP Tera
Ngl, I sort of saw this game shutting down when Enmasse got shut down and they made people transfer their accounts. Boy did I feel hollow on that day.
Yup same. RIP, will miss the Nerdrage GvG against Man-up and others
same :(
How much nostalgia, 8:44 I still remember that place was full of players
Corsair's stronghold (pvp battleground) was excellent. There were so many strategies in order to siege or defend the castle successfully in time.
The music was also top-notch, many cities had its dedicated theme.
Art style, menus and user interface was also really polished and good looking, unlike bdo's. They really nailed the concept of fantasy, the world felt magical in a way and that made it stand out from the other more normal-looking games out there.
Yes, Corsairs Stronghold was awsome. Loved Fraywind Canyon too.
On my channel there are some CS videos you can watch.
makes me sad to see it go. It had the best combat system in a MMORPG to date imo. What it lacked in gameplay it made up for in combat. So much potential. I hope that something similar with good gameplay comes out soon.
Idk why you think this. The combat was so bad. GW2 combat is 3000% better.

Your editor is absolutely brilliant, and really enhances your videos! Look how good you look now compared to your first video 🤣
"Look How They Massacred My Boy" quote fits really well with Tera. I really liked the game at the beginning, but slowly they turned It into absolute f2p joke, that made no sense.
I still remember when they went from p2p to f2p and in first weeks chinese bots and gold sellers just flooded chats and fields(((
@@RavenShugo TBH WoW was never F2P and it is indeed flooded with Hordes of Chinese and Russian gold farming Moonkin bots.
I didn't hit the first minute of the video and the editing already hilarious man , Ty editor guy.
Rip Terra.
Yooooooo you put a manup clip, got chills I was there, RIP Tera you will always have a place in my heart
Ahaa... you're saying overpowered.
Bad game development.
Agreed. My very first character was a Mystic! soo good
If your DPS was a warrior/reaper/gunner you were not needed I assure you.
@@DallyLama93 I wouldn't know, only played for a few days. Poorly balanced game then.

An mmo that only was kept from early shutdown imo due to its excellent action combat during an era of tab targeting mmos
edit: chars got removed unless you transferred them when gameforge took over tera NA.

Feelsbadman...
same! now ffxiv is lowkey the mmorpg killer lol
You mean our costumes, mounts, items, equipments, golds, etc.. FU NexoN!!! HAHAHA
theres a private server :)
I don’t even play mmos why am I loving these videos….probably my anthropology degree
RIP TERA 😢
I fully agree! I knew it was over when they started adding friggin clown cars for mounts.
After 15k hours of Tera, I can proudly say that I do not regret spending that time on the game.
The memories will forever be with me.
Finally, I can rest easy and move on, knowing I won't be able to return to it anymore.
technically private servers exist :D
I watched the TOF review and the vid was fun. But this one, the editting in this one. And also those comedic timing. You have my axe.
Manup at the end, Yes!!! I had so much fun in that guild. Lacari going off is priceless! lmao
if you didnt know you can still play Tera on Private Servers
Much better editting than pretty much all your previous vids.
Props to LazyPeon's editor, I feel like the quality of editing has shot up with this episode
I didn't know that, appreciate the insight
That profile pic and name, i cant even..
Also if i remember correctly the attack of berkser Elins had a slighty bigger range so if you wanted to play bersek, especialy in pvp elins had a big advantage.
I still would have play one without the advantage KEK
Elin was the master race for a reason lol.
Slayer you had to play castanic for further dodge and bigger time. you had an advantage on it if I remember.
Official tera closes June 30
but most people are playing on a private server called Menma's Tera has little and has a pretty decent population people from eu and na and other regions gather there as you get everything just by playing
RIP Tera ☹️
I remember playing this game back at 2015 with a few friends. it was super fun getting into dungeons instantly and leveling/gearing up fast. I also remember discovering the grunge genre at that time and whenever I listen to grunge today I get nostalgic.
TBH the worst thing about the Elin race is that you were forced to play it if you wanted to play as some of the newer fan favorite classes because they were only available as Elin. It was super disturbing to me.
My first Love! Still the best Action-Combat out of any MMORPG!
"Tera couldn't compare to newer action combat mmos like black desert online"
Black desert came out 2 years after.
Black desert is 8 years old.
Black desert is almost a decade old.
Feel old yet?
Damn you're right, feeling very old
0:37 believe it or not the character concept art for Vindictus is one of the best things to come out of that game. Concept art was so good the devs went crazy and put no clothes on their female character. what a huge loss, I know they need TA to sell games in Korea/Asia but the concept art with all the medieval plate armor was amazing. Vindictus also uses the Source engine from Valve that is why it looks so good. ex. is Delia's concept art 1, Miri Concept Art 1 and 2, Kai Concept Art 1, Fiona Concept Art 4
i got sick of tera turning into loli online,
every new class was female online and was so sexualized to the point i found it ridiculous.
Maybe next I can finally try that FF 14 trial xD
tera is the best mmorpg i ever played in terms of classes, races, character creation, character genders and story plot 👑
I love that honesty there lol. Instead of "Now for the Sponsor of today's video" it's, "Time to pay my rent."
Tera was so fun back in those days and I loved the PVP esp the 20v20 one.
there asn't been a single MMO for me that lived up to the amazing experiences i've had in TERA.
Almost worth shedding a tear.
I remember actually getting rank 1 pvp on this game. Such a cool mask to have and flex on others.
That was for alliance, and for 3v3 you got a burning black lion, best pvp in any mmo by far
Flying around in Tera was one of my memorable moments. That and figuring out your space bar combo.
I'll miss TERA, I played that game almost 5 years and made a lot of friends. the pvp was amazing even today.
T_T
It's a solemn experience watching this, good times were had on this game back in the day.
I'll always remember healing in this game fondly.
Character creation alone had me dying, laughed my ass off, cheers mate
BAM's...I loved that about the game. I was a pre-purchase back in the day, I really enjoyed the game even solo leveling as a healer and later as a tank. This game will always have a special place in my heart. The combat is something I hope to see again in another mmorpg in the future.
thank you for mentioning vindictus. it really was a great milestone in mmo combat.

Jeeeeeeezzzz, I feel so old. I loved this game back then! Really, really loved it.
I respect how you put your ads..... "but first I have to pay rent" XD
Tera was where I made some lifelong friends in our guild. Still in touch with some of them to this day
Holy shit you got me good when you showed some of our old ManUP footage.
I eventually got bored or busy and quit the game long time ago, but this is probably the only mmo that I truly enjoyed back in the days.
my knowledge of Tera is the Skyrim armor mod that added new outfits for my characters to wear.
It’s still one of my essential mods :)
Wonderholme raid was alot of fun i wish it stood around longer.
The very ending bro! It was so awkward yet so fucking accurate XD
Oh man. This was the first MMO I ever played after WoW. For a few months I really fell in love with this game. I'll never forget you Terra
TERA was what brought me and all my friend group together, will forever be my heart game
Oh Nice, Im in the video :D
Tera was an amazing game, so many fun things but I do remember the Alliance battles in particular.
