- I take my ADV Motorcycle on a 590 mile round trip Adventure from the Twin Cities up to Duluth MN. From Duluth we followed lake Superior up to Silver Bay. North of Silver Bay is Finland MN and we start riding the forest roads and exploring beautiful scenic Northern Minnesota. Did some moto camping along the way!
Great video and great sport. Never let the couple of tip overs get you down. Great positive attitude the whole time!
Thanks for riding with me!
Amazing for your video of Riding Forest Roads in Minnesota on the Ibex 800T - North East Minnesota Adventure Trail (NEMAT). I love your video. Thanks for sharing.🥰
Thank you for watching!
@@JasonRidesmoto Thank you so much. ❤
I grew up in NE MN- Many great backroad adventures in St Louis County for sure, lots of campgrounds to stay at.
Thanks for watching!
Rad bike! I didn't even know we had that trail in MN.
Thanks for watching! It's a fun one and I have a lot more to explore!
Enjoyed watching the video. I live in Cook County and enjoy watching Lake Superior and the sun do battle with the fog. At times it will look like cotton candy rolling on the highway. 70/30 tiers are fine for the forest service roads but two tracks much more aggressive treads.
Thanks for watching! I agree on the tires. Would have preferred the dual sport for the tighter situations but enjoyed the full size bike for the ride there and back!
beautiful ride, I enjoyed it. Keep it up, man!!
Thanks for watching!
@@JasonRidesmoto you are welcome. You have to do proper SEO on your channel\ videos, and then you will get more improvement. just need to follow the YT rules. I hope you have a great day.
Hey Jason, I love your new videos! We just got back from a trip to Gooseberry. It's so beautiful there.
Thanks Aaron! Great to hear from you!
Great video! I enjoyed watching.
Did you take part of the Minnesota Recon Route? 1200 plus miles in 5 sections.
I just rode part of the Mille Lacs loop last week, good stuff
I have not! Hey what Husq do you have? I'm thinking of getting a used 501fe thoughts?
@JasonRidesmoto I have the 2023 FE 450. It's the same engine and trans as the 500/501. They short stroked the crank to 450 and added a heavier crank. It's a de smogged from the factory off-road bike but can be easily plated in MN. Very good tractor factor.
500/501 is also an excellent choice, I've ridden them, and they're great.
How does your buddy like his 690?
Very nice. I just picked mine up last week. What GPS mount bar is that?
@@LBRides it’s a bar mount found on eBay. Mounts to the windscreen mounts
@@JasonRidesmoto thanks - I’ll look it up.
Used to live not too far from that area. Bummer for the guy cutting his ride short, I carry tire spoons and a patch kit on my DR especially in that area and even a quart of spare fuel can make the difference between a ride and a long walk. I probably should have a chain repair kit also.
Thanks for watching! Was a fun day and yeah a patch kit will be a must for the future.
@JasonRidesmoto Dennis kirk is on the way and they carry the motion pro lineup of spoons and bead buddies and I just use a wal mart patch kit works fine.
