The important band member here is the bass player John Deacon. He wrote this song (and other major hits). And on this track he plays bass and rhythm guitar. He is the quiet one who keeps to himself onstage. Brian May plays sound effects only. Roger Taylor has deadened his usual drum sound. Freddie is singing with a real rasp in his voice. They all work together to achieve John’s vision.
John Deacon the bass player wrote this. Each member of the band has written huge hits for QUEEN. John took Freddies death hard and retired shortly after his death and lives a quiet life.
Save me (Montreal) Don’t Stop Me Now (video) kind of magic(Wembley Stadium) White Queen) You Take My Breath Away (Odeon 1975) Death On Two Legs. Spread Your Wings (video) One Vision These Are The Days Of Our Life Mother Love (The last song he sang. Many more.

❤I’m so here to watch you discover Queen, you’ll be amazed by their live performances, try some of their earlier stuff, live at the rainbow 🌈, you’ll get heaps more followers doing Queen, RIP Freddie, still loved & missed. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Nice reaction to this iconic song that everybody knows……. I hope that you will eventually react to the live version ….Freddie does extended live versions of this song. I suggest that you react to “Fat Bottom Girls” live at Milton Keynes 1982 and “Under Pressure” live at Wembley 1986. Thank you. About the band members ….Freddie passed away in November of 1991 at the age of 45. John Deacon was devastated when Freddie died and completely retired from public life. Drummer Roger Taylor and lead guitarist Brian May have continued the band Queen….. from 2004 to 2009 they toured with Paul Rogers as lead singer. Then more recently….from 2011 until 2024 they toured as Queen plus Adam Lambert. Roger and Brian are still making public appearances.
The #1 hit in the USA that almost broke the band, when John Deacon (bass) wrote it and brought it to the band! You’ll love Under Pressure, my favorite version is the live performance in 1986 Queen at Wembley Stadium!
Welcome to the Queendom. With over 200 songs in their catalog it will be a long journey. 97.8% of all Queen is better live than studio version. The best live song is Somebody to Love. Montreal or Milton Keynes are both excellent. The live versions are never the same.
It's never over with Queen all members wrote number one hits. Freddie Mercury Legend and the best frontman you got Sir Brian May astrophysics PhD on the guitar and John Deacon on base. Check out Somebody to Love Montreal live HD is the best live version One Vision extended version documentary is really cool insight into them writing a song dedicated to Martin Luther King One Vision is actually the opening song at Wembley 1986 2-day Queen concert❤ I'm liking and subscribing I love young people finding out how lucky we were to have such raw Talent back in the day.
You know Freddie; Brian May on guitar, Roger Taylor on drums, and John Deacon on bass! And, when this got a lot of radio play, a lot of the black audience who didn't know them, thought they were black! And, LITERALLY EVERYTHING they have ever done that you listen to will ABSOLUTELY BLOW YOU AWAY, for different reasons!!!!!!!!!! You should probably listen to " we will rock you "! I'm PRETTY SURE that you'll know THAT one! Although, she might not know it was them! 😸
I’ve seen viewers post the band members names more than once in your other Queen reactions. Why not just write them down to have them available when needed?
Freddie is the best frontman ever but he would tell you he couldn’t do it without the other 3 guys. Give them their props. They deserve it.

Not my favorite Queen song but I love the bassline. This song is great live, the audience always has fun with it.
I enjoyed your reaction. Now you should watch this song another one bites the dust live in Montreal 1981. It’s a great performance.

Great reaction. I’m an original Queenie. I think you would enjoy. Under pressure Live at Wembley. 😁👍🏾
John Deacon’s bass line sets the tone here. But the amazing sound wouldn’t exist without all 4 of them.

Go look at my comment on Somebody to Love you posted the other day. It explains who everyone is and a bit about the band as a whole.

Queen's greatest hidden gem in my opinion is "White Queen " A Night at the Odeon, Hammersmith Live 1975. I promis you won't regret it. Thanks 🫶👑💙
