Setting 1554 Diamonds on a Gold Cuban Link - MOST IMPRESSIVE!!

  • This is the 1st prong set diamond Cuban link chain that we’ve ever featured on our channel!
Watch a skilled Miami jeweler (Danny) patiently set a full 39 carats of diamonds (that’s 1554 stones in total!) on this beautiful gold chain, which includes two different sized diamonds on the stunning, curved clasp (see all relevant Instagram links below).
Danny narrates the important parts of the diamond Cuban link setting process, including the tools he uses (like the twist drill and beading tool) to set all the stones on the actual chain.
At the end of the video, Carlos from our CRM Life team models the chain for us!
If you’re looking for a normal Cuban link chain (no diamonds), use the link below:
    www.crmjewelers.com/cuban-lin...
If you’re looking for an iced out Cuban link chain, whether a pavé style diamond chain or a prong set piece like the one in this video, contact us below:
    www.crmjewelers.com/contact/
Here are the main steps of the actual process:
00:00 Weighing the prong set Cuban link without the diamonds.
00:09 The two sizes of diamonds that are set to bling out the clasp.
00:40 Preparing the shellac glue to affix the chain to the board before setting the diamonds.
01:02 The beginning of the drilling process (one hole per diamond) and the four tools used.
03:30 Detaching the chain from the board and cleaning off the cement in an ultrasonic solution.
    03:46 Light polishing after cleaning.
04:09 Conclusion and close-ups of the finished chain and diamonds.

@@Crmjewelers I also imagine myself with one of those on my wrist. But more importantly, i picture myself at my favorite Miami store, shaking hands with all of you. My goal is not to simply buy myself a luxurious watch, once I manage to sell a screenplay. No Sir. My real goal is to buy it from the hands of my favorite family. It's not a real luxury watch if it doesn't come from CRM.

I been wanting to learn this stuff and it seems I can't find any names of tools or how to start because ppl are hush hush in miami. This was the first video that has some information and I was able to make 2 tennis bracelets, I didn't even know the name of the tool so I brought a prong closer and tweezers and saliva or petroleum jelly to have the diamonds stick. I want to learn how to use the burs and drill. I'm from miami. Where do u think I can take courses to learn and do what you do? Thanks for the video!

man just look up jewellery courses in your area or setting courses. (Like GIA - gemological society of America) easy enough place to start. for tools though it boils down to what you wanna do? be a bench jeweller? be a setter? both?

    • @jdogg5543
      @jdogg5543 ปีที่แล้ว

@@bernardblack6997 courses are like $2000 and have prerequisite classes that have nothing to do with jewelry. I was charged 500 to 1000 dollars to set a tennis bracelet so i found a prong closer and found out I could do it myself in one hour and it was super easy. Makes me wonder what else is easy.

As india has less trend about cuban i got my first opportunity to make cuban for someone and i am getting to fix it everytime,

Hi Scott. The chat wasn't designed for everyone to talk to one another. That would become very difficult to moderate. It was designed for us to post deals and allow people to respond to the salesperson posting any of deal, as well as ask him/her questions. I hope that clarifies things.
