Not bring genetics into it but maybe you guys are a bit luckier with the beautiful stronger yellow real gold colour you get with 22ct and higher… some people say the lighter tones of lower karats are better for Europeans with fairer features? Just a suggestion (I’m beyond impressed with gold Indian jewellery and culture, it’s remarkable)
