They broke the vee drive on stubby Bob trying to do a burnout then it let go when he tried to launch. They'll get it fixed and try again. It wouldn't be roadkill if something didn't go wrong
When we got to the Drag Strip we walked over to greet and welcome the "Stubby Bob" crew to the races.,... and because they are such Big Stars and famous with thier film crew and TV show not knowing who we were they Blew us off and wouldn't even talk to us... after they blew thier transfer case they came over wanting to be friends and asked if we had a extra transfer case they could borrow! LOL... We said "Nope!",.. we actualloy had 2 extra transfer cases in our trailer!.. We don't help ASSH-LES!.. Ya get what ya give! LOL
They pretty much tried to stuff something under the front, but they couldn't get anything worthwhile to fit without doing way more work than they wanted to. Then they said...Stuff that thing in the back and wheelie all day.
stubby bob is a Joke!... When the General and I used to travel around the country back in the late 60's early 70's he raced professionals, Like The Backup Pickup, Chuck Pools Chuckwagon, The L.A.Dart, The Fugitive, The Little Red wagon, and Hurst Hemi Underglass! ... When pro's like those line up to do battle, It's very exciting and you don't see those embarrassing amature moments "stubby bob" just put us thru!...3:)
Hazztech most people would be to embarassed to show up and video such junk as stubby bob. Thier parts wouldn't break if they had the brains and money to build something worth racing! lol. You are right about one thing, It meant very little to beat stubby bob as the General Lee has competed and beat the worlds best professional "Wheelstanders". That's why the General gave stubby bob a 'headstart" and didn't even touch the throttle untill After stubby bob took off. If you call me arrogant to be proud of my pop and younger brothers professionalism and sucess then next time capitalize that word when addressing me son! ... 3:)
Ah..Your Welcome!....I never even wanted to try and understand that Crap....I believe in doing everything I do 100%, I guess that's something you & roadkill will Never understand! lol 3:)
David Lee The point isn't to build something successfully the point is to watch two guys get challenged to do things on a budget while having fun doing it. It would be boring if they poured all their time and money into one clean project, since on their show they build or fix up a car every month, they never really wanted to win they just wanted to do a wheelie they didn't really care if you saw it or not, eventually they did get their wheelie and moved on to a mach 1 mustang. It's just drama television, not professional racing.

roadkill built Stubby Bob. After all, what could we expect?
👍 to Jerry/ so cool
Nice bottle lee, try cubic inches...
but where is the second episode when stubby bob comes back to life?
I was there that day
stubby bob is very cool the way it is, but i wonder how well and engine would have worked in the front

Could really have done without that music.
The vee drive so NOT FAIR

David Lee I think you should bite your tongue on the arrogance dude, not much to brag about in beating a rust bucket, especially one that broke a part
