You can definitely use paint. It’s an old school way of doing it but you’ll need to make sure you have your template taped down tight to avoid overspray or bleed between the letters. I’ve seen some people just hand lay their stencil which caused some overspray but it still had a cool old school hot rod look.
Hi, I got the stripes from Big Worm graphics. I’ve ordered through them a number of times and the experience has been great. They actually cut a custom length for the kit since the cowl hood had a 4 inch rise and needed more material.
