believe or not i've never been to a record show / convention in my life. it take me a hour to look through all the records. good find with that REM album too, arnaldo.
The Chronic Town EP is one of the few REM IRS releases I don’t have an original of. I passed on that copy because it was a bit worn and pricey for the condition.
That’s fabulous. Great place for a pop up. One thing, buy your records first before imbibing at the bar, otherwise your pocket book will really hurt 😁. I’ve been to Academy, great store. Some nice buys Fidelio. Cheers.

Looks like an excellent record show! I was going to ask while watching “Do you prefer the big record fairs or something a bit more intimate?”. But, you answered it! A friend of mine back home in Detroit does the same thing in a bar. He says that it makes the vendors bring their A-Game titles instead of stuff that you can find in every bargain bin. I’m hoping to go to my first record show next month here in Seattle. With any luck, I might run into Mazzy! Great video!
Yes, definitely I prefer the more scaled down fairs. I find the bigger ones a bit overwhelming. Good luck hunting in Seatlle! ✌🏻
Great finds Arnaldo. I have the mfsl pixies album as well..and I have a promo US copy with the “audiophile”quality vinyl… for what I remember the promo sounds better, brighter, which I like, the mofi is more bassy midrange, for what I remember, but I will check again soon and I’ll let you know. Not sure if the UK pressing would sound any better 🤷🏻♂️ I doubt it
One day I hope to get an OG. I have a local friend that has the UK and I would like to do a comparison soon.

Solid pickups. I have an OG of Amor E Non Amore from Battisti on Ricordi. Great LP. The Pixies are playing here in Charlotte in June with Modest Mouse and Cat Power. My brother is coming down from NY for that one.
I have all of Battisti on cd and would love to get a few of my favorites on vinyl. Tell your brother the Pixies are playing this summer in Queens NYC this summer too. 😉

@@fidelios_frequency we have a similar pop-up at a bar (Tik-Tok Tavern - if you are scoring at home) that suffers from the same issue. Needless to say I buy more from the overflow vendors outside (where I can see) 🤣
@@ConcertBuddie unfortunately there wasn’t overflow at this one even though they had an outdoor area they could have used. I guess they didn’t want to confine some vendors to the cold weather.
