      Speed is power which is mass times acceleration. If a feather hit you going a 1000 miles per second you're guaranteed to feel it. Bruce Lee had speed that was incredible which gave even his one inch punch tremendous power. He couldn't have that speed without proper alignment which someone critized Bruce for not showing it in videos they saw him. It's nonsense.

      @@123batchy Joe Lewis and Chuck Norris were world champions and they validated Bruce Lee from experience. Mike Tyson' is just icing on the cake and he was a world champion too. I had a martial arts teacher tell me Bruce Lee wasn't a fighter so its not just internet attack on his legacy its bigger than that. Some people hate others that they can't measure up too.

    I saw Bruce Lee in person in 1968 Wash. DC do a 20 minute demonstration of his skills at a Jhoon Rhee National Karate championship featuring Joe Lewis. Bruce was a guest of Jhoon Rhee and honorary judge. His hand speed and accuracy was something to see in person and his one inch and 5 inch punch he demonstrated showed the incredible power he could create in an instant. Joe Lewis said Bruce hit like a heavyweight and he should know. He said Bruce had tagged him a couple times when they sparred. Bruce did not believe in rules or refs. so he did not compete in tournaments. Back then most Americans had very little knowledge of martial arts and Bruce was in a class by himself according to those who know. I just turned 80 years old last month but I will never forget the day I saw Bruce Lee. He is still a legend today 50 yrs. later.

    • @rexrocker1268
      @rexrocker1268 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Indeed. I don’t think Bruce could beat anyone. But a man his size? Probably easily. Bruce wasn’t a big man what was he 130 pounds? But he was ultimate ripped level in his prime. But a beast like Mike Tyson? I don’t know. He would not feel his kicks and punches and just cancel him. I don’t know. That’s no disrespect but size does matter. Like Iron Mike and big dudes like him could just charge him and hulk smash. But if he was their size? Different story entirely.
      Again, obviously, no disrespect he would destroy me in a fight and I’m bigger than him. Only chance I would have it cover my head and charge and try my best to get him on the ground and use my size and weight. And I don’t know how to fight even if I did that would be what I would do and I bet I would still lose. he was an animal destroyer and it would have been cool to see him fight professionally.
      Also nobody in Hollywood or sports back then was as ripped as he was. Even body builders weren’t as ripped. Sure he was skinny but just ridiculous he was like 1% body fat, which is extremely unhealthy but that’s hard core diesel.

    Bruce Lee was a very unusual person in the martial arts. He united mind, body and strength into a single energy and was able to implement this excellently. His speed, concentration and charisma were of course outstanding. He combined everything, from physical perfection to visual representation in his films. I am an enlightened spiritualist of the Choy Lee Fut kung fu federation and I became enlightened in 96 . Approx 3 weeks after I became enlightened I was attending a spiritual group when the spirits of Bruce and Brandon Lee walked into the circle and Bruce Lee directly approached me and asked me to explain the curse of the Dragon, his curse as his spirit was in limbo and he didn't understand why. I was studying Surrealist Art and they had a thing called automatic writing which is writing faster than you can think and then reading the outcomes. I asked the realm of light to reveal the truth in relation to Bruce Lee and this is the verse that came out for Bruce Lee,
      Bruce Lee was Lee Shi Min who ordered the destruction of the temple Shaolin the last words on film he said were Shaolin Temple and then he was dead. Bruce understood straight away and so did I , Bruce Lee was sent back to restore the glory of Shaolin kungfu as once upon a time it was he who destroyed it. Bruce Lee thanked me and his dark veil faded and he walked into the light with his son Brandon by his side. I had to investigate Enter the Dragon and yes the last words on film he said were Shaolin Temple

Had Bruce Lee lived, I have no doubt he would have continued to improve in Every conceivable way with his Martial Arts and physical fitness. Bruce Lee achieved more in his short life span leaving behind a lasting legacy that most people would never beable to do over several life spans. R.I.P. It breaks my heart every time I see these videos of dear Bruce. How do you define a person who took everything in and only used what would work, from every art and make more moves from his study of it all. Every moment of his life was evolution at such a high level. Bruce was and is the OG Master of all arts combined. There will never be such a leader and game changer as him. Then to see his son pass away was too much for me. I cannot even imagine how Linda continued with half her soul gone from these events.
    Thank you for keeping his legacy alive through this 🙏

    I found one of Bruce's books when I was 18 and it spoke to me. I loved it. I immediately began practicing and emersing myself in jeet kune do. After three years of living for the art I had memorized all 5 of his books and learned all I possibly could about Bruce. His skill set was a double whammy. First he had a brilliant mind. Bruce never gets enough credit for his Academic accomplishments, he was a college graduate with a major in philosophy and he combined that with an in depth study of martial arts from all around the world. The 2nd thing that made him great was his incredible level of energy. He ran 10 miles a day just to warm up before breakfast. Chuck touched on that in the video. Releasing energy wes Bruces natural state of existence. That is what made him so unique. Intelligence and inexhaustible energy.

    What i love about Bruce Lee stories is he wasnt afraid to learn, he was always looking for the best most efficient and effective ways to fight.
    I dont know the if its true but i once heard he didnt think much of kicking high or spinning until on set Chuck did a spinning heel kick and he was impressed asked to be shown again and went off to practice.
    If true he saw something he could have a use for and aquired the knowledge tgen practiced till perfected. Even if not true you can see that he only ever learned to become so effective that fights werent prolonged and in doing you have to acknowledge your limitations before overcoming them and from what little real footage ive seen, he didnt have many limitations, sh!t i wish i could play table tennis with a bat as good as he does with nunchuks truly a man who came closest in my opinion to reach the title superhuman.
    Thats an amazing athlete right there, not self assured hes the best and all his skills are the shiznit but a athlete who was always looking for more to add to his collection and improve, he apparently lived his art almost every minute of his day from what i read just 100000000% dedication.

    It’s pretty fair to say Bruce was a genuine freak of nature, and a prodigious talent in self defence. What i believe is that he would not do as well as some say as a ring competitor and would probably notch up a few KO losses, a champ maybe but nothing hugely remarkable in conventional and heavily restricted competition. The reason I say that is because he trained to injure people BEYOND the rules of any competitive ring sport at the time. Bruce would’ve been like a Lion let loose without any teeth or claws in that era. Only todays MMA resembles the JKD that he promoted and taught. I believe he could’ve been a feared MMA champion gladiator and grail coach. He basically trained himself and others to take lives if a ‘no way out’ situation unfolded. The next best thing was to choreograph all that work for the entertainment industry- the movies.

      @Toddy9cent 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Mike didn't mean that Bruce DID kill, but he COULD. (it could HAPPEN)
      That was the reason he didn't do competitions.
      He was "afraid" - that if he use his full power, someone could be KILLED. It's not about collecting "points" to "win" as in sport.
      POWER/CHI is unleashed, exclusively without THINKING - the trained "TAKES PLACE" without control. “Leaving out” certain attack points or “limiting” the speed prevents “natural” combat.
      And i agree, he' entertained in "media", PRESENCE is necessary, to stand out of the masses.

    I think I remember seeing an interview of the guys who made the TV series Kung Fu, and they said originally they had intended Bruce Lee to play the lead role. But he came in and, not so much auditioned as just gave them a demonstration of a 15 minute barrage of speed and power moves flying around the room attacking objects to wow them. It actually scared the crap out of everyone and they decided to not give him the job because they thought over the course of filming a whole season he might actually kill someone. They were like, ehhh this is just a tv show, and that guy's an actual real live killing machine, lets not play with fire here. I get it, but oh man we could have had Kung Fu with Bruce in it, shot on film for all time. Thousands of hours of footage. Ugh.
