HOME is the scariest part to me, its so irresponsible to give people endless space to get lost underground forever in and then make it other people's job to prevent that by keeping them "contained" in a park who's appeal is for you to be lost. Terrifying
It’s a long shot, as most people don’t know about this series, sadly, but have you ever read the Gormenghast trilogy? It’s a wild fucking ride, and this description of HOME immediately brought to mind the forgotten halls from book 2.

Any outside viewing, altering, damaging or distribution of this tape will result in immediate termination. Any park-goer found watching this tape will be disciplined with extreme predudice." There were a few other quick pops I couldn’t pause right on my phone, also could anyone read what the blueish purple text corresponding to the exit read?

1:48 So we finally got a general map of Liminal Land. It looks… kinda small. I feel there should be a few more ride locations present. Like, where’s The Wheel?
Either there really was something chasing him there (I heard a kind of roar when he got close to the door with red light underneath - maybe like a minotaur & the "backrooms" is its labrynth? 👀) or he just went insane because that place can just do that to you.
Slowly going madder and madder as he gets more and more lost within the labyrinth. No scary monsters necessary for this idea to be chilling. Maybe HOME itself is even subtly affecting it's victim's mind, making him hallucinate things, until he goes completely crazy and is lost forever 🤔

YES! This is what I have always wanted from the idea of Liminal Space/ The Backrooms. There doesn't need to be a monster or some entity, just the idea of being stranded in a maze with no way out and what that would do to a person is horror enough. Thank you for this and your take on horror within your liminal world. Keep up the good work!

4:32 “The found footage tape will now begin playing.” Interesting how the in-universe company uses “found footage” as a descriptor Also 9:30 whatever was in that room looks like a wall of foam? Or it could be skeletons?
For those wondering, around 3:28 when the screen glitches, it says something along the lines of “*illegible* to remove any and all doors, windows, or any (what I assume to say exits) from HOME containment”
The doors and windows disappear. People are, perhaps, kept at H.O.M.E. as a... sacrifice. Given the image of Moloch behind the "Park Closure" section of the website, one can surmise that, maybe, the park is organic. Or houses something unkowable. Something hungry. Something _alive._
liminal land feels so old yet so new for a analog horror series this story takes into account what i think is greek mythology as charon is the greek underworld god that takes souls of those who have been given funeral. The beast/monster we see in the park closure in the website is a moloch who uses chlid as sacrifice? not really sure about the second fact but i think this story has dead children, science experiments and historic biblical and other cultures references
Well, you ABSOLUTELY have my attention now. This series seems to blend in elements of all the big-hitters in analog horror while still keeping it fresh and unnerving as all hell. I can't wait to get my ticket to see how far this goes.
So my theory is this: H.O.M.E. is a similar structure of the Backrooms (not _the_ Backrooms, something like it), however it seems more malicious in terms of it's way with trying to break the mind of anybody wanting to leave it's confinements. While the Backrooms are just a giant void of differing areas with entities that stayed there for too long, H.O.M.E. seems more antagonistic in how it preys on people who stay and gets more sadistic to those who want to leave. I have a feeling that CHARON found H.O.M.E./created it with some science stuff, only for it to develop a much more awakened sentience.
This is great, it's like the Backrooms meets Mandela Catalogue. Great work so far Nexpo and other guy who's name I promise I will commit to memory soon :P
Wow this was really well done, great job! The VHS instructional segments were believable in the way they were presented, the music, and the grammar... These are what usually suffer the most when some content creators try to recreate VHS videos. The walking footage was really good as well, maybe a little too shaky and wobbly, but still very good.
This feels like a backrooms when Kayne first uploaded the found footage, it's reminiscent, and now a new one is born again. I wonder how many games will be born out of this
When the tape glitches, this warning screen just popped up from "CHARON", and here's what it said: 0:09 "Viewing intended for the CHARON management team only. Any outside viewing, altering, damaging, or distributing of this tape will result in immediate termination. Any park-goer found with this tape will be *DISCIPLINED* with extreme prejudice." 2:57 "Warning: Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E facility. (Even we are entirely unsure of its true size and extent..)" 3:38 "Important: Routinely and securely remove any and all doors, windows, or thresholds that can potentially serve as an exit from the HOME containment area." "Enough......" 4:32 "The found footage tape will now begin playing." @WobblesandBean I know you already said that. Thanks for showing hidden message for us.
I am glad to be seeing more purposeful visuals instead of purely ai generated stuff. I admit I am definitely curious as to where you are going with this as so far it seems pretty straightforward.
I came across this video just recently, and no one seems to be talking about the intro! If you pause at around 0:09 seconds the message changes to red and another text appears. *"VIEWING INTENDED FOR THE CHARON MANAGEMENT (???) ONLY. ANY OUTSIDE VIEWING, ALTERING, DAMAGING OR DISTRIBUTING OF THIS TAPE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION."* *"ANY PARK-GOER FOUND WITH THIS TAPE WILL BE DISCIPLINED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE."*
These videos just keep getting better and better. I can’t wait to see who (or what) is all behind this nostalgic eldritch nightmare. Wish I could visit liminal land, but I now know the consequences if I did.
The warning at 2:57 says “Warning: Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E. facility. Even we are entirely unsure of its true size and extent.”
I'm not sure if anyone noticed this, but the logo for CHARON is similar in shape to the Dagaz rune flipped When this rune is flipped, it symbolises lack of hope, disparity, ill fortune, darkness, confusion and uncertainty
I don’t know if anyone already commented about this but at 1:11 the screen glitches and the real home acronym is revealed. This acronym says h-hide, o-obscure, m-maintain, e-evict.
The type of short horror films/analog tapes I like is when there are no out of place jump scares that happen in the middle of nowhere. I like the feeling of dread, feeling like something's wrong or weird but not knowing why or how. I feel like when people have those overused ghosts and "creepy" figures dressed in white gowns it just doesn't really effect me anymore. Though, this was up to my standard. Amazing video!
HOLY SHIT dude this was so fucking good! Chilling and sinister without being cheesy or goofy. I've seen so many backrooms vids (and creepypasta in general) it takes something truly special to creep me out, and the hairs on my neck are standing up!!!! Incredible work, I cannot believe it's taken me this long to find you!
Definitely appreciate the focus on the horror of liminality rather than giving in to sticking a spooky monster around some corners. The terror of the never ending maze of "off" feeling rooms that only grow more disjoint and more eerie the deeper one ventures. Excently executed.
TBF I don’t play many args but this is really interesting for me! It very clearly takes ideas from existing sources (ahem H.O.M.E.) but it definitely gives its own spin to the story surrounding it. Well done.
"This disturbing, blood-curdling scream, followed by what I can only describe as a COW'S MOO. I know it sounds ridiculous, COWS underground? But God it hasn't left my mind since." This is Jason Franklin.
Kinda a shame that this series seems to have been given up on. The videos were great, the website actually had a ton of interesting bits to it, but seems like nothing has been done with it for over a year now.
It seems so long ago...I guess it was. I finally sent my experience to the archives. The anxiety I've felt since recounting my story is astronomical. I cannot sleep. I knew I shouldn't have brought these memories to the forefront of my mind after all these years. I'm sure the stress will die down soon.
BTW, My great grandmother's funeral tape functions as some sort of ARG-like experience when fragments of home videos of some of my first memories caught on tape try to resurface in some manner. I also think that this footage plus some other unknown footage of my home videos might be able to be recovered by putting the tape through some kind of specialty VHS multi-channel scanning device capable of rechanneling the input signal or something like that.
I made something like this in a Fallout Table Top game I ran. An Enclave "Suburb" underground, where the sky was just a lighted screen and all these neat little suburb houses were built underground with fake grass and stuff. It's kind of cool seeing this here because it's close to how I imagined it in my head
It almost feels like the park is like… a fungus. It blooms at the surface, so people think “oh it’s just a little mushroom”, but in reality, what you see above ground is only what it wants you to see. Underground, the whole being rests, stretching out for potentially miles if conditions are right. Above ground, they draw people in. Underground, they *feed*.
this is a fantastic series so far. capitalizing on the existential dread of being american and weaving it with the existential comfort of being a child. the references on point, honoring classic liminal spaces, charon being the name of the employees that bridge the gap between liminal land and home. even the question 'where were you when it happened' evokes the feelings of old home videos, endless office spaces, and the nightmarish dread of a crumbling america. it's like yall made this for me. i can't wait to see where this goes.
Didn’t realize what channel I was on so thought “There’s a clip for Welcome Home?” Little sad it’s not that but got happy when I realized it’s Liminal Land, gotta love Liminal Land
I like this because, and I don’t know if it’s true, this feels like it intersects with the Backrooms lore except without the Async foundation. My current theory is that H.O.M.E. is an overlap of the Backrooms underneath some random spot in New Mexico. To prevent deaths due to noclipping and thus eventually starving to death and/or being killed by entities, the Liminal Land theme park was built above the overlap, and H.O.M.E. was created to allow people to live safely in the Backrooms should they noclip. The Backrooms being underneath the park could explain all of its anomalous activity and rides, along with the missing people around it. Good stuff, Nexpo and Nick, good stuff.
It’s fake bro. All those lights, who puts them in. How is electricity generated. How are the floors so clean 😆. Go close a closet & don’t open it for about 3 months. The whole thing will be covered with dust, if you leave it there long enough you will have spiders. & Spiders go everywhere. It’s fake because he doesn’t touch anything just walking. The same way that guy that was walking around that claims to be stuck by himself in the future. But is asking for money dead give away that he’s fake. There’s an app that you can use to do filming like this. The same way they do filming for being on mars. Did you know that there are retirement homes that have the same features of the front of the houses but it’s inside a building. I deliver mail to those places.
On the website, for the *Park Closure (1989)* section, if you type in _"riteofpassage"_ (all as one word, in lower case), for a split-second you can see the red *"Please enter the correct password"* text, that shows if you type in anything else, before a sepia-coloured picture appears on your screen… The main title reads *"Der Götze Moloch"* (which Google translate says means "The Idol Moloch"). Beneath that is written what _looks like_ *"Riümen Oder [something beginning with C]"* (I can't read the last word), which Google Translate says means "Rhyme or..." 🤷🏻♀️ The main picture, itself, is of a giant bull or Minotaur statue (no legs) atop come circular steps; in its belly is an open oven with a roaring/blazing fire within; there appear to be seven open windows in its chest; it has a rope around its waist; it looks like there are symbols on each palm, which it's holding up to face us, but I can't make them out clearly (they could simply be part of palm's natural lines). A reverse image search reveals several clearer versions: The text reads *"Der Götze Moloch mit 7 Räumen oder Capellen"* which means "The idol Moloch with 7 rooms or chapels" (according to GT). The same reverse image search also reveals an accompanying picture: The same statue, but instead of seven windows (or rooms/chapels) in its chest, it now holds a baby in its arms, held in front at chest height; the text at the top of _this_ picture reads, *"Der Götze Moloch Wie ihme die kinder zum Opfer in feine glüende Armegegeben."* which GT translates as "The idol Moloch How the children were sacrificed to him in his glowing arms." Creepy stuff!
The bit you can't read is Räumen oder Capellen - which, as you know, translates to rooms or chapels. Fascinating article about Moloch on Wiki. Thanks for the info.
this is my favorite tape by far. the way it just goes from factory-like setting, to a home that feels off, to a boiler room, to the freaking backrooms is amazing. this park is truly alive.
8:57 The sentences actually rhyme with the colors: blue - may never be true green - you'll never be seen white - may never be right red - you are already dead
At around 7:33 there is a door that says something on it. It looks like there are two words with the second one being "Laughter." Any ideas what the first word is?
The first "word" is Dr. S. So either the Name of Dr. S, listed somewhere in the files on their webiste, is Dr. Slaughter, or this is a really interesting hint as to what happens at H.O.M.E.
My uncle got kicked out of Liminal Land for trying to sneak a six pack of beer into the place. He did mange to steal a few traffic cones before he left, however.
If anybody is curious, the prompt at 2:57 reads "Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E facility. Ever we are entirely unsure of its true size and extent.."
Back again, the prompt at 3:37 reads, "Important: Routinely and securely remove all doors, windows, or threshholds that can potentially serve as an exit from the HOME ____ent area. (I'm guessing here, but the blank spot probably is meant to say "containment" Edit: now just realising, right after 3:37, (at 3:38), there is a single line of text that just says "Enough".
Please don’t tell me if the bear guardian or the SpongeBob guardian or the pelican guardian or the mouse guardian or that Homer guardian would show up in this place, but if it does then, oh no…
Warning: Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E. facility. *Even we are entirely unsure of the true size and extent...*

Also 9:30 whatever was in that room looks like a wall of foam? Or it could be skeletons?
Looks like skeletons
It looks like either foam or TV static
I thought it was concrete

For those wondering, around 3:28 when the screen glitches, it says something along the lines of “*illegible* to remove any and all doors, windows, or any (what I assume to say exits) from HOME containment”
Important: Routinely and securely remove any and all doors, windows or thresholds that can potentially serve as an exit from the HOME containment area
The doors and windows disappear. People are, perhaps, kept at H.O.M.E. as a... sacrifice. Given the image of Moloch behind the "Park Closure" section of the website, one can surmise that, maybe, the park is organic. Or houses something unkowable. Something hungry. Something _alive._
liminal land feels so old yet so new for a analog horror series
this story takes into account what i think is greek mythology as charon is the greek underworld god that takes souls of those who have been given funeral.
Got some of that Gemini Home Entertainment Soundtrack goodness I see
Glad someone else noticed it
Yo another one!
I wonder how many games will be born out of this
Kane* not Kayne. lol
Kanye pixels
Man, was already good but what a JUMP in production quality! Looking forward to more!
I got to say. This is an amazing analog horror series and quite underrated. Keep up the great work Liminal Land!
At least their ceilings have clouds on them.
this JUST kept getting better. great work, everyone. this is amazing.
The combination of so many exit signs and the complete lack of an exit adds a truly terrifying touch to the backrooms scene. Well done!
When the tape glitches, this warning screen just popped up from "CHARON", and here's what it said:
0:09 "Viewing intended for the CHARON management team only.
Any outside viewing, altering, damaging, or distributing of this tape will result in immediate termination.
Any park-goer found with this tape will be *DISCIPLINED* with extreme prejudice."
2:57 "Warning: Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E facility.
(Even we are entirely unsure of its true size and extent..)"
3:38 "Important: Routinely and securely remove any and all doors, windows, or thresholds that can potentially serve as an exit from the HOME containment area."
"Enough......"
4:32 "The found footage tape will now begin playing."
@WobblesandBean I know you already said that.
ANY OUTSIDE VIEWING, ALTERING, DAMAGING OR DISTRIBUTING OF THIS TAPE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION."*
*"ANY PARK-GOER FOUND WITH THIS TAPE WILL BE DISCIPLINED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE."*
Dude this is so awesome how well you doing it, keep doing it of liminal land vhs tapes!🔥
Wait.
From 3:40 to 4:25, you can hear strange music; I could be wrong but I think I hear...
The Wyoming Incident?
I knew I recognized it from somewhere!
At first i thought the park was alive, but im now sold on it being a labyrynth holding a Minotaur captive.
It's a labyrinth.
And what's at the centre?
The minotaur.
The park visitors are sacrifices.
These videos just keep getting better and better. I can’t wait to see who (or what) is all behind this nostalgic eldritch nightmare. Wish I could visit liminal land, but I now know the consequences if I did.
"This time, Stanley did get the Broom Closet Ending."
кайф, наконец-то кто-то с умом взялся за концепцию лиминальных пространств. жду развития событий
The warning at 2:57 says “Warning: Do not attempt to explore or ascertain the true size of the H.O.M.E. facility. Even we are entirely unsure of its true size and extent.”

In the flicker at 1:05
Imagine it’s 2100, you and your family are living in this dystopian underground city. That’s the feeling I get whenever I see this. Incredible job.
I'm not sure if anyone noticed this, but the logo for CHARON is similar in shape to the Dagaz rune flipped
When this rune is flipped, it symbolises lack of hope, disparity, ill fortune, darkness, confusion and uncertainty
OK, now I need more.
As in, REALLY more.
I don’t know if anyone already commented about this but at 1:11 the screen glitches and the real home acronym is revealed. This acronym says h-hide, o-obscure, m-maintain, e-evict.
"You can check out anytime you like, but you can NEVER leave."
Well done.
9:36 what is the name of that song? It is an excellent video that left me traumatized
Did you ever find it?
No bro and never.
"This disturbing, blood-curdling scream, followed by what I can only describe as a COW'S MOO. I know it sounds ridiculous, COWS underground? But God it hasn't left my mind since."
This is Jason Franklin.
The Minotaur...
It’s maloch the screams are children being sacrificed to him
Moloch the minotaur and his child sacrifices
Watching this home alone late at night was certainly a choice
I wonder if Jason is the person filming this. A lot of the stuff in the letter showed up here...
Brooo sick!! can barely tell that it’s animated :0 i gasped when i saw the back rooms bro it was like a celebrity cameo
I came here thinking it was about clown's welcome home, but I enjoyed this a lot! New subscriber :)
I'm sure the stress will die down soon.
storytime?
I really like this take on liminal-horror. The idea of housing/keeping/trapping (?) guests in the service-tunnels under the park feels fresh.
Hope this gets as big as Kane Pixels. Very well done
No horror tapes really scare me, but this one did, this one is super good. Great work.
Bravo sir! What a superb production. You have me hooked. Can’t wait to see more ❤
Bro I clicked on this thinking it was a Welcome Home thing and it turns out it was just a backrooms tape😭💀
I made something like this in a Fallout Table Top game I ran. An Enclave "Suburb" underground, where the sky was just a lighted screen and all these neat little suburb houses were built underground with fake grass and stuff. It's kind of cool seeing this here because it's close to how I imagined it in my head
Watching every aspect of H.O.M.E. I just kept wondering: WHO PAYS THE ELECTRIC BILL??
The combined training video/found footage format was perfect!
What was that grey mass inside the theater door? Was it just a lumpy wall or was it something alive?
I think it was the deformed people from the last video, that's probably why they wanted employees to always lock everything up
@@pesss_7681 jesus christ that’s creepy
Didn’t realize what channel I was on so thought “There’s a clip for Welcome Home?”
Little sad it’s not that but got happy when I realized it’s Liminal Land, gotta love Liminal Land
1:58 did anyone notice that the liminal land anomaly is not placed on the map?
Looks like CHARON opened another portal to the Backrooms.
Welcome HOME, Neighbor. We're so glad to have you back. :)
On the website, for the *Park Closure (1989)* section, if you type in _"riteofpassage"_ (all as one word, in lower case), for a split-second you can see the red *"Please enter the correct password"* text, that shows if you type in anything else, before a sepia-coloured picture appears on your screen…
The main title reads *"Der Götze Moloch"* (which Google translate says means "The Idol Moloch").
Beneath that is written what _looks like_ *"Riümen Oder [something beginning with C]"* (I can't read the last word), which Google Translate says means "Rhyme or..." 🤷🏻♀️
The main picture, itself, is of a giant bull or Minotaur statue (no legs) atop come circular steps; in its belly is an open oven with a roaring/blazing fire within; there appear to be seven open windows in its chest; it has a rope around its waist; it looks like there are symbols on each palm, which it's holding up to face us, but I can't make them out clearly (they could simply be part of palm's natural lines).
A reverse image search reveals several clearer versions: The text reads *"Der Götze Moloch mit 7 Räumen oder Capellen"* which means "The idol Moloch with 7 rooms or chapels" (according to GT).
The same reverse image search also reveals an accompanying picture: The same statue, but instead of seven windows (or rooms/chapels) in its chest, it now holds a baby in its arms, held in front at chest height; the text at the top of _this_ picture reads, *"Der Götze Moloch Wie ihme die kinder zum Opfer in feine glüende Armegegeben."* which GT translates as "The idol Moloch How the children were sacrificed to him in his glowing arms."
Creepy stuff!
I can't believe he made it all the way to C-Block!!! I always knew it was under the park somewhere.
"we must ensure visitors will be kept here as long as possible" this brief sentence had me scared already
I love this. It's like new and improved Backrooms! This fresh take is awesome. Can't wait to see more!
Just stumbling on this now, definitely subscribed! Really awesome stuff and I look forward to seeing where it goes!
Man I thought this was about the Welcome Home ARG
8:57 The sentences actually rhyme with the colors:
blue - may never be true
green - you'll never be seen
white - may never be right
red - you are already dead
At around 7:33 there is a door that says something on it. It looks like there are two words with the second one being "Laughter." Any ideas what the first word is?
The other word seems....incomplete? Like, it doesn't look right
The first "word" is Dr. S. So either the Name of Dr. S, listed somewhere in the files on their webiste, is Dr. Slaughter, or this is a really interesting hint as to what happens at H.O.M.E.
@@Leftbehind47 Dr. S. Laughter. Subtle......

(I'm guessing here, but the blank spot probably is meant to say "containment"
Edit: now just realising, right after 3:37, (at 3:38), there is a single line of text that just says "Enough".
Plot twist: this isn’t liminal land, he’s just stuck in another area of the playrooms
Please don’t tell me if the bear guardian or the SpongeBob guardian or the pelican guardian or the mouse guardian or that Homer guardian would show up in this place, but if it does then, oh no…
