My original keyboard was basicly just a toy, so this was a very welcome upgrade for me, defenately recommend for those who are on a small, but not tiny budget
I've always been a fan of the PSR series...even the low end ones have great tones. I especially love the ones that have the enhanced "sweet" tones that really respond to touch. This thing sounds great and I'm about to order one.
Funny pricing policy: 130 USD = 110 Euro. BUT in germany the keyboard retails for 165 Euro. This is almost the current price for the PSR-E363 and I think, that is the better deal.
Hey Jeremy! Upon your recommendation, I just bought the Korg EK 50...it will arrive in a couple of days...managed to narrow my choices only with your help😊
How's your experience so far with PSR-È73 now? Can you tell me some differences between these two models? as I thought the NP-12's supposed to be better.
I'm enjoying your reviews, they are comprehensive so it's almost as if I were at the music store checking the keyboards myself. This keyboard really has a beautiful sound, but I'd really like it to have a midi output and touch sensitive keys. A backlit LCD would be great too, but I could live without that. Maybe as a shared keyboard, like in a classroom, this would be perfect because you wouldn't really have much time and space to connect to a computer and DAW and produce music. Anyway, I'll be checking on your lessons too! Great content Jeremy! thanks for sharing!
Hi, this is my first time here. Hoping to get an answer. I have a grandson, I think he has a good ear for music, we don't have musicians in the family though but he can be humming a song in perfect tune for hours and I would live to introduce him to an instrument, to see how it goes. What instrument would you recommend? Would be a Keyboard be a right choice? Which one? Since I know nothing about music, I feel lost. Sorry for bothering and I really hope you could help me. my budget is limited but I believe it is important to approach kids to the arts. Thanks in advance and I'm hoping to hear what you suggest.
Hi Jeremy, would you take the E360B over this model, if they were both the same price. My local music store has this option at the moment. Thanks for your input.
I have a big question. I have a Casio ST-200, which I purchased used for its portability mostly so I could take it to group vocal class at the local senior center. I also have a Roland FP-30X which I purchased for its acoustic piano emulation. The keys and keyboard action of the Casio is surprisingly good, but the tone and sound are not very good. Here is my question. Is the tone and sound of a Yamaha PSR-E263 or E273 enough better than the Casio to make it worthwhile to pick one up? For the record, my skill level on keyboard is intermediate beginner but I also have the ability to play chords and I can compose songs.
Now that you've explored this offering from Yamaha, the forthcoming comparison with a Casio model in the same price range will be interesting. I think, like me, you have a general preference for Yamaha products, but that certainly doesn't apply to every model and your exploration will be, as always, free from bias. So, the question is - in this price bracket, does Casio's offering give more bangs for your buck? I await with interest.
Hey Bryan! I mentioned twice towards the end of the video that I have a Casio vs Yamaha coming up for this keyboard range. Results are quite interesting. Do keep an eye out for it.
Any insight you can share with these Yamaha models -- Yamaha PSR-E273 vs Yamaha PSR-275, vs Yamaha PSR-12, vs Yamaha PSR-170, and vs Yama YPT-220 please
Loved your video! so helpful. Do you know if this unit can have a keyborad foot pedal added? we are a guitar duo and we need a third hand or (foot) to make a few chord changes
Hello , i just finalize two model for my 9 year old daughter p45 or cdp-s100 after see your video and various discussion in INDIA from reseller in new delhi, now i feel i should go for buying used one or rent instad of buying new piano, but in INDIA p45 and cdp-s100 not available on rent or used as it seems both model are newer series form yamaha and casio, respectively, my point here first, can you please recommend some older version from these two brand which i can search used market, second, i am looking all 5 must have feature what you advised in previous video such as 88 key, full size keys, head phone, scaled hammed action and pedals. your soon advise will be highly appreciated.
Hi Jeremy. I'm a guitarist that would like to learn to play piano. I'm choosing between three Yamahas: PSR-EW300, P45, and P125. What would be the best for learning classical, bossanova, and jazz music? Years in the future, I think I want to play and own an acoustic piano. With that in mind, I think P125 is the best option for weighted keys (with many sounds). But also considering psr ew300 for the sake of just beginning to play and budget to consider. So I'm torn between these options.
I'm not Jeremy, but if you want to know a lot of opinions, i have the P45 and the Psr e363. I think the P-series have that you' re looking for, is excelent to play classic and jazz. The lack of octaves in the Psr and heavy keys is an important issue to that styles. However the Psr is best for pop, rock and modern music, because they have a lot of sounds. I' m from Argentina sorry if my english it's bad redact and write, i love how tango sounds in the P-45 too.
Does Yamaha have a drum machine only? if so what do you know of it? we use one of these for our drum machine now and would like to not have to bring the larger keyboard if we could just use a drum machine that matched the setting on this key.Thank you
Hello Jeremy I just purchased this keyboard, we use the accompany key to play our church songs, is it possible for this keyboard to play a major G chord instead of a G7? It’s kinda hard to understand why they didn’t leave the default as major chords, any help to change the setting will bless thanks.
i might get this cus i use to have a grand piano at my house i would play every day but when i moved we kept the piano there jus cus it was so big i have been missing playing tho so have been looking into an electric piano which will be easier to play and move around if needed

Same I did a lot of research now this depends on your budget low price would be this one here But I still have the feeling you should skip this one and jump to the mid priced which is the PSR E-373 : probably the best in mid range price (like 200€) , definitely worth it unless you cant or dont want to spend this much money for beginning a hobby now to the 400€ : Korg B2, difference is that this is actually an E-Piano its pretty amazing for the price

In india it cost rs8000
Really great low cost keyboard. I just recommend this one to one new student.
Thanks so much for all your keyboards reviews.
I think i will skip this model and keep my not so old E263. Thanks for the review jeremy.
I'll stick with PSR-E273. Nice model, though.
Helpful for me to choose affordable portable digital piano. Thanks a lot!
new UI seems smart and easy for the players. But missing USB power and MIDI is essential.
Thanks for the review.

I wonder if the cheap design is intentional. They certainly can make it look much better
The old PSR's are superior to the new ones as far as durability and on board speaker quality.......
Remember: you can go cheaper second hand. Got my keyboard (PSR 220 from 1996) for just £20
Great review, as usual. Thanks!
Is this better sounding than the Casio CT s 300?
