Only piercing I experienced some kind of bump with is my nostril piercing. It actually didn't give me any trouble until I went to the salon and had my jewelry changed to a hoop. I thought it was healed enough but it happened to be just a little bit sensitive still and a few weeks after switching to a hoop, I got a bump ! It bugged me for monthssss. I didn't do much, only used saline solution and diluted tea tree oil regularly and it eventually went away.
I have a granuloma constantly on my anti tragus! It usually surfaces when I have caught my shirt on the piercing. Takes a few weeks to go away, leave it alone, normal salt soaks/cleaning works fine for me. Bleeds a lot tho! Ugh!
I have a granuloma right now on my nostril piercing, and my piercer suggested the no pull discs to help get the pressure off of the granuloma. I've had it on for about a week now, and it seems to have helped with the regular cleaning as well.
Hey same but see when u had it on did u end up getting dead pieces of skin coming off sometimes I’d pull it off and it’ll bleed a lil bit but I stopped doing that, how do u clean under the disk? Cos sometimes there r these little white secretions under it
I consider myself one of the lucky ones... I've never had anything worse than an irritation bump after someone accidentally hit my fresh piercing (happened way to often with my industrial). Other than that, all my piercings healed fine. But it's still good to know in case it ever happens, or in case you see someone whose piecing has one of these and you can give advice on what to do about it. :) Love the makeup btw! 💖
Same with mine. I'm healing my naval piercing now and 15 piercings later the only issue I ever had was an infected industrial that was taken care of easily

i am having one right now 8 weeks after getting my lip piercing. My lip piercing was healing so nicely and i had it changed to a ring at the 6th week mark thinking i am going to rock it. it went well for 1.5 weeks and suddenly it decided to rear its head out. i was in a panic state and thinking i am going to have to part with this piercing. i was also running through the list of things that i could possibly have done wrong...i was usually extra careful with cleaning. when you said that this most common after a good healing progress, the weight on my shoulder kind of lifted...although as i am writing this, i am wearing this bump for exactly a week. i am counting down to the day that it would eventually go away.
I tried everything for over a year on my nose ring, helix and daith. I did the sea salt for the bumps to go down but ever since I started cleaning my piercings with dial gold bar I have not had any issues.
i got them on both of my eyebrow piercings and i’ve been popping them :( they never seem to go away even though i clean them but i’ll see if they go away if i stop popping them
Thank you for the video!! Now I know that I most definitely had a granuloma on one of my piercings. After about a year of it not going away I asked my piercer about it and he told me how to get rid of it and it’s finally gone!!
@@iodedge he said to get the brown bottle of bayer aspirin and crush it up and make a paste with water and leave it on overnight everyday for a week or 2 and it should go away. It worked for me not sure if it would work for everyone

I had my nose done, needle with a ring, 6 weeks in I got a granuloma and my god!! It went last week and now its back! Only had it pierced about 8 weeks
you shouldn’t get pierced with a ring, thats the main issue. 8 weeks is still healing so you’re gonna get bumps and whatnot. a nose piercing typically takes 3 months to heal. but with a ring it can take 6 months to a year.
Mine doesn’t look like hamburger meat, it just looks like a bump with a vein running through it. Doesn’t bleed at all, doesn’t hurt at all. My doctor said it was a granuloma, and that all I can do is remove it by cutting it off or injections to reduce its size. I’m still confused on what it is
That happened to me. The doctor removed my piercing yesterday and I’m so so sad. She says it will help the healing process but now I don’t have my piercing on 😓
Update is I got it removed by a dermatologist and now I just don’t have my piercing there anymore. He cut it off and injected steroids and it has healed very nicely. Looks pretty much normal now.
It’s basically a keloid and it could only be cut off to be removed:/ which is fine cuz now I don’t have people constantly asking me if it hurts or being self conscious about it.

It formed at about 4/5 weeks after getting my ears pierced and I was worried sick about what it was until one day a baby at work slammed his hand down REALLY hard on it and made it start gushing blood everywhere . I’ve been cleaning it was salt water like I have been doing since day 1 and it seems to be improving :)
You should do a video about “nesting” or embedded jewelry for labert piercings (flat back lip jewelry) it happens and scares alot ppl not many videos about it at all

I’ve been cleaning it with saline and trying to leave it alone but it gets caught on my mask and it doesn’t seem to be going away. I don’t know what to do about it anymore. The only thing that has been working for me to calm it down has been cleaning it multiple times a day and doing saline soaks with a cotton ball 3 times a day. Additionally, using a chamomile tea compress has been really helping to calm it down the past couple of weeks. I hope it will go away but I’m not sure at this point...
89% certain I have a granuloma in my septum piercing. Didnt realize until I kept gettin crusties and saw some blood after a stretch was almost done healing, then i saw it during a jewelry swap to a retainer for work. Ugh.

I thought it was a hypertrophic scar at first and when I changed my conch to a ring recently (I’ve had my conch piercing for a year now) it was just looking off because of the bump 😭 (at first i thought the bump was gone because it was hidden behind the previous stud I had in before i changed it to a ring) so now I just have a threadless flat back in it right now.

I’m really starting to think the jewelry is the culprit because this damn double helix has been such a b***h to heal. Been healing angrily, as my piercer says, with a few days here and there that it’s fine. I refuse to give up and just keep cleaning and doing my soaks.

Looks like there’s a granuloma on my right lobe on the back. Must have popped up in the last day or two because I sure as hell haven’t noticed it before. Although it’s not nearly as painful as my left lobe that doesn’t have any bumps…
I have a slightly tender bump on the bottom hole of my navel... it's only there since a few weeks and it's pink/purplish and it bleeds so easily. I am sort of terrified of having my navel never heal or reject. It looks fine otherwise but jeez it's stressing me out.

I have pyogenic granuloma near my nose piercing and it actually came because my brother accidentally hit my nose piercing and it’s been there for 15-18 days now and doctor suggested to remove it surgically and she said not to wear nose ring but I still need second opinion cause i like my nose piercing and I don’t want to remove it. Dude actually there is no going back ..I got mine in the monsoon soon I am desperate asf i know ...i don't know if the humidity around or maybe because my stud used to get stuck in my clothes and towel I don't know many times ...i developed it on the month of July and and now it's September girl ..it's not gone and the worst part is my nose is red as a tomato in that area ..and everybody notices it .....i too went to the doctor and he straight away told me to remove the stud and i did that although it was one of the tough decision of my life because I really liked my piercing but I had to do it ...and I am just hoping the best everyday for this f granuloma to go away it's so annoying when everybody arounds you questions you about it and asks you why your nostril is red ..and i have tried every method but it's just won't go away ..and my parents are no gonna allow me to have a surgery for that .. because they were already against me getting my nose pierced... In India the month of May - September are the worst you can't do anything with u in this month..no tattoos no hair treatment no piercing no makeup ...

Could a ‘blood bubble’ be a granuloma? About 4 months after I got my belly piercing it started bleeding. But it looked perfectly normal. So I went to the shop and they said there was a blood bubble inside the piercing which is why it looked perfect. They put a needle in the piercing and poked and poked and poked and drained a bunch of blood. Then it was fine for like 7 years. I took it out for an mri and I was sitting on the couch a couple days later and a bunch of pus came out of it. Cleaned it and it was fine. I took it out for good 3 years ago when I got pregnant and it’s like half closed half not and there’s a hard bump in the middle of the piercing. Idk if that’s scar tissue or what. It’s so frustrating.
i don't know what to call this situation of mine on my ear but i have this weird like little bumps that kind of surround my ear piercing ( my ear, conch, was pierced about 3 months now) that produce (?) like watery/sticky thing that turns into crust... what i do is i use some piece of cotton and kinda dunk it into lukewarm water and put the cotton into the "thingy" that surrounds my piercing if you know anything about my situation help me pls hahahahahahha

I had a big bump on my septum. I got it around the same time frame u did. I contacted my piercer and she told me it was irritated (I kept blowing my nose because I had a minor cold) she said to flip the jewelry up my nose , do not touch it with my hands and spray saline wound wash. The bump is completely gone. Try you best to not move or touch the piercing at all. The more you try to touch it and even over cleaning it can irritate it more.

I have a bump on the inside of my nose from my nostril piercing but I always thought it was because I got it done with a gun- that was until I got my septum with a needle and I ended up getting a bump near that too- on both sides. I’ve been living with my nostril bump for most of the years I’ve had it and now 2 more as of last year. I just thought it was normal, especially since I luckily have no bumps on the outside. double lucky I also cannot reach them with my fingers unless I take the jewellery out which I’m hardly ever gonna do. I honestly had no idea there was a way to get rid of internal nose bumps. unless I’m mistaken and your septum is pierced lower than mine-

Aspirin mixed with apple cider vinegar was the only thing to help me. Wished I would have waited one more day before taking my ring out .

I thought I had a granuloma on my 2 month old lobe piercing but it's hard to the touch D: I hope it's not a keloid...

Bom eu coloquei piercing no trágus dos dois lados e no lóbulo aí tudo bem
Foram Dias diferente mais variou de uma semana pro outro pois furei primeiro e gostei e logo em seguida furei na semana seguinte.
Até então não sentir muita dor e no mesmo dia não sentia mais
Cuidei certinho e depois de um mês veio o problema
Apareceu um granulama,
Logo achei que era Queleoide que é algo que todo mundo pensa e tem medo
Então fui cuidando da mesma forma
Mais não melhorou pois a granuloma deu no trágus esquerdo e começou a cresce um pouco e ficar bastante inchado, então me preocupei depois de 3 dias eu fui na mulher que furou então ela olhou e viu que era realmente granuloma que me aliviou bastante e decidir troca a minha joia
Lembrando que a primeira era de titânio
Uma ferradura
Então coloquei uma que é reta que não lembro o nome que também era de titânio
Então fui tratando com compressa gelada com soro 3 vezes ao dia durante 3 dias e graças a Deus melhorou bastante.
Lembrando
Que fiz saumora tmb com a joia da ferradura
Mais não deu certo até eu troca a joia e fazer com a compressa gelada
Também usei sabonete com PH 0 que ajudou bastante
Então a minha dica é
Cuide
Lave
Faça a compressa
Troque a joia de preferência de titânio
Não deite em cima de preferência com a cabeça pra cima olhando pro teto
E coma bem
É claro que essa foi a minha experiência mais deu certo
Agora se seu caso for queloide então recomendo tira ou procura algum especialista.

My piercer gave a no pull disc for me I did end up getting dead pieces of skin coming off sometimes I’d pull it off and it’ll bleed a lil bit but I stopped doing that, how do u clean under the disk? Cos sometimes there r these little white secretions under it
Looks like there’s a granuloma on my right lobe on the back. Must have popped up in the last day or two because I sure as hell haven’t noticed it before. Although it’s not nearly as painful as my left lobe that doesn’t have any bumps…
Mine is just above my peircing. I have had my peircing for 3 months.
I have a slightly tender bump on the bottom hole of my navel... it's only there since a few weeks and it's pink/purplish and it bleeds so easily. I am sort of terrified of having my navel never heal or reject. It looks fine otherwise but jeez it's stressing me out.

I have a granuloma inside my nostril at the back of the piercing it is bleeding. Yesterday tried cleaning with warm salt water. It doesn’t hurt but it does worry me. Don’t know what to do should I just leave it alone?
@@darianalee2573 I ended up removing the piercing as it was so swollen I could breathe out of only one nostril.

just saw this video..thank you so much for this info.i had nose piecing about 13 weeks ago.now I understand what's the bumb is all about on my nose piercing.I bought a small interdental brush to clean the area more effectively..hope my granuloma goes away

I have a bridge piercing and i have a granuloma and i hate it sm, what can i do to make it go away? I clean my piercing multiple times a day and sometimes it goes away but then it comes back within a few days. I have snakebites and they healed witj no trouble. It might be the type of jewelry i have cuz i had a granuloma on my nostril piercing but it went away when i got to the jewelry changed, does anybody suppose its that?

I have pyogenic granuloma near my nose piercing and it actually came because my brother accidentally hit my nose piercing and it’s been there for 15-18 days now and doctor suggested to remove it surgically and she said not to wear nose ring but I still need second opinion cause i like my nose piercing and I don’t want to remove it. Can anyone suggest anything?
Dude actually there is no going back ..I got mine in the monsoon soon I am desperate asf i know ...i don't know if the humidity around or maybe because my stud used to get stuck in my clothes and towel I don't know many times ...i developed it on the month of July and and now it's September girl ..it's not gone and the worst part is my nose is red as a tomato in that area ..and everybody notices it .....i too went to the doctor and he straight away told me to remove the stud and i did that although it was one of the tough decision of my life because I really liked my piercing but I had to do it ...and I am just hoping the best everyday for this f granuloma to go away it's so annoying when everybody arounds you questions you about it and asks you why your nostril is red ..and i have tried every method but it's just won't go away ..and my parents are no gonna allow me to have a surgery for that .. because they were already against me getting my nose pierced...
In India the month of May - September are the worst you can't do anything with u in this month..no tattoos no hair treatment no piercing no makeup ...

Could a ‘blood bubble’ be a granuloma? About 4 months after I got my belly piercing it started bleeding. But it looked perfectly normal. So I went to the shop and they said there was a blood bubble inside the piercing which is why it looked perfect. They put a needle in the piercing and poked and poked and poked and drained a bunch of blood. Then it was fine for like 7 years. I took it out for an mri and I was sitting on the couch a couple days later and a bunch of pus came out of it. Cleaned it and it was fine. I took it out for good 3 years ago when I got pregnant and it’s like half closed half not and there’s a hard bump in the middle of the piercing. Idk if that’s scar tissue or what. It’s so frustrating.

i don't know what to call this situation of mine on my ear but i have this weird like little bumps that kind of surround my ear piercing ( my ear, conch, was pierced about 3 months now) that produce (?) like watery/sticky thing that turns into crust...
what i do is i use some piece of cotton and kinda dunk it into lukewarm water and put the cotton into the "thingy" that surrounds my piercing
if you know anything about my situation help me pls hahahahahahha

When I got my septum pierced I got a bump within a day on both sides the bump on one sides didn’t get bad it went away I think but the other side won’t go away what is it
I had a big bump on my septum. I got it around the same time frame u did. I contacted my piercer and she told me it was irritated (I kept blowing my nose because I had a minor cold) she said to flip the jewelry up my nose , do not touch it with my hands and spray saline wound wash. The bump is completely gone. Try you best to not move or touch the piercing at all. The more you try to touch it and even over cleaning it can irritate it more.

I have a bump on the inside of my nose from my nostril piercing but I always thought it was because I got it done with a gun- that was until I got my septum with a needle and I ended up getting a bump near that too- on both sides. I’ve been living with my nostril bump for most of the years I’ve had it and now 2 more as of last year. I just thought it was normal, especially since I luckily have no bumps on the outside. double lucky I also cannot reach them with my fingers unless I take the jewellery out which I’m hardly ever gonna do. I honestly had no idea there was a way to get rid of internal nose bumps. unless I’m mistaken and your septum is pierced lower than mine-
