It seems a lot of brothers are easily beguiled by this guy because he comes across as more knowledgeable than he really is. The problem is that many Muslims don't understand the difference between hifdh and FAHM.
@@peopleofknowledge1 Abu Khadeejah replied to someone who brought this doubt about an old statement of someone he refuted and he said "does bidah have an expiry date?" As long as the person has not retracted then the error can be warned from so others don't fall into it. If someone refutes Sayyid Qutb then nobody would accept the argument that it was something he wrote 60 years ago. wallahu musta'aan.
He is basically saying you can’t warn against certain individuals because you haven’t listened to them. So let’s say a student of knowledge or a scholar comes along who is known to be upon the Quran and Sunnah says don’t listen to a particular speaker and you haven’t listened to that individual this is considered backbiting. The issue with this is I would then have to go and listen to the speaker which could lead to a person being led astray if they themselves don’t have enough knowledge.
This video is so stupid. The principle is not to bring shubuhat when it is not even an issue. When I already don't listen to someone, bring their name would just cause curiosity or waste time. The people on this channel are simply blind following everything their sheikh tells them and have formed a cult. I advise you to stay away brother.
This seems grossly misinterpreted. What I understood is that if you constantly keep talking about a deviant and refuting him in front of people who already know he's a deviant it has become pointless. For instance, I was talking to my younger brother about the deviant YQ and I would spend many days speaking about his deviance. My brother ended up telling me there is no benefit to this speech any longer as you and I both know he is miguided. This is no longer calling away from misguidance as neither of us listen to him. ARH never said don't refute these ignoramuses. The videos that our salafi brothers are putting up to refute him are fair game. What doesn't make sense is for us to gather in our circles where everybody is knowledgeable of the nature of YQ or they already stay away from him and we just continue talking about his misguidance over and over.
ARH brought a PRINCIPLE which is "you can not refute someone unless the person is already listening to them". This principle requires evidence because the Messenger salAllahu alaiyhi wasallam said "every principle that is not in the book of Allah is baatil. Did ARH mention this principle? Yes or no?
@SalafiDawahNZ I hope Allah has cured you of your ignorance and zealousy in the two years it's been since you posted this. The brother us not making up a principle, the scholars they say, من جهل شيء عاداه و أهله, it is from wisdom to not waste time with useless matters. It is from hikmah to not bring shubuhat unnecessarily. It is from hikmah to not feed peoples curiosity by mentioning people they don't even know. I hope Allah has taught you hikmah and to stay away from people of knowledge as their flesh is poisonous.
All these dogs barking in the comments don't know that they are really attacking the scholars😂. Ghibat Al-Mubtadi' is an EXCEPTION. Meaning the asl is that Ghibah is haram BUT when there is a Maslaha it becomes allowed.
Maslaha. Yeah, like warning the ummah from someone! Whether they are currently listening to them is irrelevant. If the speaker is spreading baatil and there is a reason to mention it then what is the problem? Nobody is saying to stay up all night eating biryani and talking about Hamza Yusuf, are they???
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ warned against innovation and innovators when they didn't exist, let alone not being listened to.

Nothing wrong with what the brother said here. I’m confused where is the issue?

The second issue is at no point did he quote a verse from the Quran or anything from the sunnah to back up this principle in the 2 minute clip.
