Ann Reardon literally did a test on an A.I.-generated recipe (and following it to a tee, btw), and later explained things that were off with the recipe. If any of you are interested, go check that out!
I once read that mesoamerican people drank their chocolate cold, using water instead of milk, and they liked to add chilli pepper to it, so instead of a warm sweet drink, it was cold and a bit spicy (and I guess also bitter), so I didn't find it strange adding spice to a chocolate cake.
This drink is common in Mexico still. Many families use water instead of milk sometimes. Not sure how common it is but I have seen chilli pepper powder added in restaurants
I thought Jasmine was the A.I. and that the A.I. would actually make the cake, not calculating a recipe. But I liked the video anyway. 😊 Didn't look to bad.
I don’t think the spice was weird but I think the specific peppers they chose were. Like I don’t know if the AI chose the peppers or just said peppers but I think it would have been better with flavors like cayenne powder and chipotle instead of what looked like a Thai chili and regular chili flakes. That’s an odd visual presentation and I feel like it unevenly distributes the spice 🤷♀️
Both cake recipes look very interesting, but I think I'd rather have Ben's! Melting unsweetened chocolate with butter is a technique I use in my brownie recipe, and it's very tasty and rich. If I added spice to a chocolate cake, I'd add chili powder and cinnamon instead of chopped chilies! :D
I don't hate spiced chocolate necessarily, but it needs to be subtle. A pinch of cayenne pepper into a cup of hot chocolate or into a frosting recipe can give you a tingle without overpowering you.
I love this video idea, I would watch a whole series of them. However, I swear I noticed something odd about the sound quality in this video, or maybe the lack of background music or something?
I think AI recipes will be good for inspiration. Y'know, to be used as a base to be built upon to make something good. Cuz AI seems to be good at making some crazy combinations that nobody would think to use. A few of them (from other videos I've seen) seem work surprisingly well.
Whoever’s reading this, I hope that whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day!
Ooof. Hey, Tasty, maybe hold off for a while on making any more videos with the pale white dude who thinks the way an entire continent and a half eats their chocolate is "disgusting". Or at least find one who knows better than to say it on camera. Jasmine's "I don't like it" is one thing - personal preference expressed, check. But "disgusting" isn't really a personal preference; it's a judgement.
Feels too easy without the recipe being translated 20 times lol.
20,000 times
@@farziakarim3087 🤣🤣🤣yeah

I like this format a lot and would love seeing more "can this A.I. make..." videos in the future :)

I really like spicy chocolate, but I think that chili powder would work better with this cake than chopped chilies.
Apparently, they also added food coloring, so that the chocolate drink looked like blood XD
chilli chocolate is amazing! water isn’t that uncommon either, so i see it tbh.
I once read the earth is flat
Are we gonna ignore the fact that when Jasmine was asked Do you like Robots?
Jasmine: ....I was in the Robotics club for six years.
Robot:NERD :)
I thought Jasmine was the A.I. and that the A.I. would actually make the cake, not calculating a recipe.
But I liked the video anyway. 😊 Didn't look to bad.
Finally the face off I’ve been waiting for 😅😅 I believe in you Ben, you can beat the robot lol
khalilah shut up
This was such a fun video! I love Jasmine working with Charlie the robot 🤖 It was so funny watching them interact and an interesting cake 😝
Me too! You were great Charlie!

Damn I love the vibe in the kitchen for this video
This was very interesting to see a spicy cake. 🔥😆
But, can you test out a lemon meringue pie recipe? Not a tart! Thanks 👍🏾👍🏾.
This reminds me of Ann Reardon
I would watch a whole series like this
This feels like an alternate version of Trendy vs Traditional where the Trendy is instead the future.
you should do pizza, i’d be so curious to see how AI does that

We're excited to add this recipe to our collection of cooking videos. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us!
This recipe is a great example of how simple ingredients can create amazing flavors.
I don't hate spiced chocolate necessarily, but it needs to be subtle. A pinch of cayenne pepper into a cup of hot chocolate or into a frosting recipe can give you a tingle without overpowering you.
I always knew Jasmine was a robot.
Nice production! I had a lot of laughs and food for thought with this one
What if A.I mixed with lost in translation. Charlie makes the recipe and then it gets translated back. Would it be possible?
this needs to happen!!!
Wow I love the kitchen style
Almost!!!!!love the vids♥️♥️♥️🥰🥰🥰
Can I just say that Charlie is adorable?
I just did.
:]
An absent minded person reads "Can I make a better chocolate cake than a pastry chef...?"
🤭🤣
yesss jasmines back!
Yay that was a cool video ✨
Great video good job my friend👍
I use hot water in my chocolate cake recipe too!
Someone should try the AI recipe, just without the chilli pepper. I think that will turn out to be good.
My favorite chocolate cake recipe has water in it and it is SO moist and fluffy
I love this video idea, I would watch a whole series of them.
However, I swear I noticed something odd about the sound quality in this video, or maybe the lack of background music or something?
In the future Gordon Ramsay will be an everliving AI
You should do more of these
I like this episode! Please make more with Charlie the Robot!

I love that the thumbnail implies that Jasmine is a robot
You should start a season 2 of Lost in Translation
When Tasty copies How to Cook That
Did anyone else notice that at 8:30 there is powdered sugar on the cake and no powdered sugar a few seconds later?
I feel like they got this idea from Ann Reardon with H2CT…
I had the same thought.
@@BlackFiresong same. But I want both channels to keep making AI recipes. Would be interesting.
with no credit, as usual
I've never seen a cake with red pepper 😰
10:23 what’s your qualification for being a judge on Masterchef? I LOVE chocolate cake 😂
How about an AI recipe for meatloaf? I feel like that is a staple dish for a lot of American households.
101,246 views, 3.6k likes, 88 comments, 20.9M subscribers. Nice!!
Just watching a robot roasting jasmine. Totally normal
Can Charlie come up with a pot pie (not necessarily chicken) recipe for the next vid?
Yea
Good
why are they acting like spicy chocolate is some strange monstrosity, it’s delicious 😭
“This cake was made from a place of sadness and anger” aww poor AI :(
Love your videos tasty
I want to see a classic apple pie
This is literally the plot of Portal
Is this a new series?
Unless you make chocolate cake as good as the one in Costco, yes the ai can
I'm sorry jasmine... it was lost in translation again
Being mean to charlie is the first step to our demise! 😅😬
is lost in translation coming back soon tho?? 🥺
Nice
Where Alvin?
Pretty bold to assume that the robot is the one without the soul. lol
Please what A.I refers to ? To Charly ?
Artificial intelligence
Missing lost in translation 🥺
Generalisation: Human intelligence is better than artificial intelligence.
I get the feeling Charlie was very unhappy with the results 😅
AI doesn't have a chance!
Yet.
GMM vibes, they have the whole AI series
Wait...Ben and Jeri? Is this a coincidence? I'm Brazilian, I'm not sure
Please post Ben’s recipe….thanks!
Spicy chocolate is disgusting. Yes!
i think it should be ai vs mediocre chef bc obvly the expert’s gonna win
...you could have credited How To Cook That because this was her idea
Stares
💛😋😋
Alvin should make a big taco
Im confused how the AI came up with the recipe
I can’t eat chocolate cake. I’m diet 😫😫
Your generosity healing towards humanity is incomparable keep up your good work dr odija on TH-cam

Olf fashioned recipe from the 70s and 90s
Me.....hey now I am from the 70s and 80s I'm not old fashioned
7:23 🙅♂️
I thought Jasmine was an AI human
Stealing Ann Reardon’s ideas again😂 she did an AI cake like 2months ago
A tried and true old fashioned recipe from the 70s or 80s? Fml
I feel like she was so confused working on with recipes as she only now have brain cells for lost in translations series
Whoever’s reading this, I hope that whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day!
Lost in Translation of an AI recipe?
Hold on, y is he so fine😭
Honestly, the episode would have flowed better without Charlie. Also, who made him? Kids make better science projects than him these days.
Can we talk about how the AI has been faked?
idea blatantly stolen from "how to cook that' youtube channel
Thats what I was thinking 🙄
wait you're a robot

No
How are you first by a minute?
The 80s..old fashioned. Sigh..
unsweetened chocolate…. alright.
Hope everyone enjoys long black hair in their cake. At least pull it back in a pony tail. Yuk.
