Awesome info Lynette Thank you What areas are they normally found & who are the predators that the male is protecting the tadpoles from plus what is the % success rate of those 1000's of tadpoles all growing into mature frogs?

Hi Wilma, they are found mainly in the dry Karoo areas. Predators can be anything from wading birds, other frogs etc (these males sometimes eat their own tadpoles apparently). Many of these tadpoles will get eaten before they turn into frogs.
