We have something unusual today, here is your new Beastie Room Mascot!!
Our baby African Bullfrog we thought it would make a nice fun addition to our channel not to mention a very exciting creature to follow through its growth from tiny to huge !!
We also require a name for this little fellow so who better to ask than our loyal SUBSCRIBERS, so put your suggestions down in the comments and we will pick the best one .

Love, Love, LOVE FROGS! HE is so persistent and determined. Very strong and intelligent. Yes, he is adorable too, but to me, he acts like the boss. Boss would be a good name, or the Spanish translation, Jeffe (the j is pronounced as h sound). Sounds like heffe. But either way, it fits his or her bossy attitude. And work if it is a girl or boy.❤❤❤

Hello Dave and Camera Lady. So good to see you. I love the frog! Very handsome if a boy and very pretty if a girl. I think if it is a boy you should call him Rodney or Fergus and if a girl Helen. Fingers crossed for a boy. Thank you for the new species. I know we all enjoyed the mossy frogs though we are still waiting to see Camera Lady feed them. Hi Dave and Camera Lady, I am from South Africa and watch all your videos, love them. In South Africa, we have a type of frog called the Platanna. Translated from Afrikaans this means Flat Anna, What about calling your calling your frog Platman, translated this would mean Flat Man. Or Grootman translated Big Man. Lots of fun and thanks for the info. Your videos are truly the most interesting and informative.

In regards to keeping amphibians and fresh water, I cannot re-iterate enough, don't just leave the water for a day to get rid of chlorine. Yes chlorine evaporates fairly quickly but it is the chloramines that is also added that is the danger, these take longer to get rid of. I just wanted to advise of this as not many people may know.

A Swedish name for a Frog is Grodan Boll or Froggy Ball on English. The name comes from a character from a story tale and films here in Sweden.
