- GEEZ... This is by far, THE biggest project I've ever worked on. YES, bigger than Mettaton Neo and Alphys combined! (Despite the fact that it doesn't really use 3D environments too much).
Anyways, here is The definitive conclusion to the first season of Undertale DDD. (Stage-wise anyways... *ahem*)
Starring the King of the Monsters himself! ASGORE.
Hope you guys enjoy! Sorry for the ENORMOUS wait - but aye, it's before Christmas! Happy early Christmas present!
Seriously though, this was one HECK of a journey. And I am pleased to say that I have completed this video with no regrets. I have produced precisely (or, at least 90% precisely) what I had envisioned for this video.
And with that, I shall take quite the break - undertale-series-wise. I'm planning to do a 20K sub-special commentary so... Stay tuned for that... and perhaps, Season 2???

Asgore is a force to be reckoned with. In contrast to Toriel's wavy, semi-complex patterns, Asgore lays down barrages of somewhat simple yet quick and efficient patterns... On his own. However, Asgore has the power of the SOULs on his side, and with them, comes a whole plethora of intricate and deadly patterns. He also has quite a good memory, as he seems to also retain extensive knowledge to the Undertale DDD cast's bullet patterns... And he makes them HARDER. Sure, Asgore can go down in, like, 4-5 hits... But reaching his end point... Is quite the uphill battle to say the least. You MUST be ready for basically ANYTHING you've encountered thus far... and so much more.
"Ah yes... The monster to end the main season (excluding the obvious teaser for a possible extra stage--*ahem* I mean... extra fight...) Somewhere in my long-winded 10K sub-special commentary, I talked about how I had associated Yuyuko from Touhou, with Asgore. As such, I am (still) using a rendition of Yuyuko's theme song for this fight. I also made some associations between Mima and Asgore too, but they were mainly aesthetic associations (like the cape and the long objects they hold). As such, I threw in a few Mima-esque patterns in as well. As for the SOUL phases? If you couldn't realise... This whole series revolves around combining Undertale with Touhou concepts and mechanics (some at least). I decided to have a little fun with the references and SOUL associations... As such... I THREW IN ALL THE SPELL CARDS-- well... Some... That actually make sense. Towards the end, I got very Dragonball Z-esque... Cause ANIME IS REAL. (If only Alphys were around to see what Asgore had become). All in all, this fight was not meant to be FAIR. It was designed with theatrics in mind... So obviously, if you WERE to design a game around these fights, you gotta turn a few things down a bit..." - เกม

you see, those were just 6. he called for the help of the dead monsters in the underground.
Remember Omega Flowey in the neutral route, the souls disobeyed and rebelled against him
The fact that Asgore takes the time to ask help and the souls accept to help their own murderer, show very well who is the true monster and danger here.
The reason why is because the six souls in omega flowey fight disobeyed him so the theory is:
they obey asgore cause he is risking to fight back so the souls help him

It was a nice touch making Asgore actually willing to look at you as he attacks because he now understands that he must do this to save the world.

Fight: Literally impossible
It's a real shame we never got something like this in game. If Asgore had to die, he should have gotten his heroic moment like that. This is hands down one of the best Undertale animations ever made.
Unfortunately, Asgore is a goofy goober. As such, he is doomed to die in an anticlimactic manner.

Considering your up against a king who now has the souls to power up and this time the souls won't come to your aid. They know your sin. They know your intention. When the health bar appears to be fully drained halfway into the vid, Asgore isn't dead. Due to having 40 billion HP and Chara doing 9,999,999,999 damage per hit, Asgore has a mere 4 HP left. Enough for him to use his final attack.

Alright, I remember that I was so into this series. Now that a lot of time has passed, I finally watched this. This is beautiful. The animation is so smooth and quick paced, but I love the ending. The ending is pretty sad, almost got me crying. I love this series, and I'm glad I could see it conclude. (Even though I'm late, lol)

Fun fact: All the power of Asgore combined, everything displayed in this animation... is still only around 6.66 percent of The Annoying Dog's total power. I dread to think of the monstrosity that would ensue if the Annoying Dog fought Frisk/Chara and used 40 percent for example.

Such an amazing bossfight. I always wanted Asgore fighting in genocide route, and you made it 100x better than I expected. The bullet patterns are almost impossible. and the music. THE MUSIC!. It was so epic! So epic that it is way beyond Undertale standards. That's how I got into Touhou and that was the first time I've heard something way better than songs I used to love. Thank you for introducing me into that great franchise. I’ve seen many Touhou references, but this one is the one which completely changed my fate forever. It’s been 8 months and I still have a lot to discover!

I remember finding your channel when this fight was still being worked on; The final product does not disappoint!! So many good moments, but personal favorite was the fact that the souls *DEFENDED* asgore initially. These are the kids goat dad murdered before, and they see Player/Chara as so truly horrific that they take it upon themselves to aid their *murderer* in defending life as we know it. Like, damn. Also, 14:35 is pretty freaking awesome as a last stand! I knew how this was going to end, but Asgore definitely gave it his all here! 10/10 animation King.

This was exceptional and positively beyond breathtaking.. I was emotionally grasped from the onset of the souls' defence. The music was right, well timed to fit sequences too. It was beyond overpowering of the senses to watch.. Moved me a few times, to be honest

you know, with all the fandoms i've seen, i'd expect this kind of thing with sans. but it's actually more fitting to have asgore absorb the souls, and fight. i mean, he is the KING of monsters. sans is just some dude. albeit powerful, but just some dude.

This battle alone looks like something that you'd face in Lunatic mode, or even a Lunatic+ mode.
Even normal undertale patterns are harder than they look if you compare them to touhou, since the hitbox is way bigger and the movement slower, and no bombs as well. The only thing that really makes it easier is the fact you have a health bar and healing items, if it weren't for those undertale would be hard as hell, i say that as someone who 1cc'd more than half of the windows touhou games
