Well, that's the reason why I admire asgore underfell than the original asgore, because with him you can get through and not fight to the death Something the original doesn't have, even if we press the action button 100,000 times xP
Asgore can't be convinced not to fight because he doesn't want to kill you, but because he wants you to kill HIM. He hates himself for everything he's done, and consigned himself to death, because dying for a cause that gave the monsters hope was better than facing them and telling them that they'd never get out because of his own feelings. It's why he destroys the Mercy button, because if you spare him, he knows he'll accept and leave everybody trapped.
@@angerypotato7430They all know that already , but here the thing is to see the difference between the two , this Asgore Underfell lets himself see that apart from being released , he also wants to be forgiven Since he hurt her too, her anger had no limits or control like Asgore from undertale, that's why I'm seeing the beauty of this alternate line. That despite the fact that this Asgore made more serious mistakes, we can see the beauty of forgiving him more than the original
Actually, it wouldn't have mattered in the original undertale, you can do something so flowey doesn't kill Asgore (I think by redoing the omega flowey fight a lot of times in the same save), and when that happens Asgore will oof himself
My take on what his weapon should be is similar to his OG weapon, the trident, but with a scythe on the other end and no flower ornament on the trident itself
Soooo I think underfell is untertale but more edgy. And things are the opposite. Instead of flowey being... Y'know. Flowey.. flowey is now merciful and stuff. Instead of alphys being kind and caring. He's now a complete psychopath. Instead of asgore not wanting to fight. He's now the one who made the kill or be killed saying instead of flowey (i think) and he's evil and he wants to kill you. Idk about papyrus or sans yet
