What Trump's Assassination Attempt Means For The Second Amendment

So, let me get this straight... At Trump’s rally, A Milly mouth 20-year-old shooter was acting suspiciously, and the authorities alerted everyone, including the Secret Service. Despite this, the shooter made it to the roof with a rifle while witnesses screamed about him for minutes.
The sniper-spotter team waited 42 seconds after spotting him, letting him take five shots at Trump. Meanwhile, the Secret Service kept Trump on stage, facing the crowd, with an active shooter in play.
How does this happen?!
For one, you have to see the video of Secret Servicewomen who can't even holster their weapons properly while protecting Trump at the rally. (you have to see this!)
This is embarrassing.
If this is the government's idea of elite protection, I don’t want it.
Sadly, Anti-gun groups and politicians were quick to jump on the assassination attempt to push their ban on law-abiding citizens owning guns agenda.
Like Tennessee State Senator Hiedi Campbell, who tweeted later deleted:
"And once again, it's the guns. He would not have been shot if the shooter hadn't had a gun in his hand. It's that simple. If you care about your candidate, do something about your public health gun crisis. And do something doesn't mean donating to NRA endorsed candidates."

Then there's this tweet from New Yorkers against gun violence Anti-You-Have-A-Gun group:
"If gun violence can impact one of the most protected people in the world, protected by some of the most highly-trained armed guards in the world, it’s clear that more guns and easier access do not make us safer & that gun carrying in public is dangerous and deadly."

What's ironic is that there is not a single gun law that would have stopped this. If You Ban AR-15s, he could have easily used a bolt-action rifle. If you Ban bolt action rifles, he could have easily used a handgun.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying having a gun is guaranteed safety, but not having a gun when you need one guarantees you’ll be unsafe.
What you should take from this is the government CAN'T keep you safe!
The only person who is guaranteed to be there when it really matters is you!
When the Second Amendment Says, "A Well Regulated Militia," it's not talking about the army or the police; it's talking about you and me. I am the Militia, you are the militia, and together, “We” Are The Militia.
