I was a knucklehead when I was younger and lost my right to own a gun or even be around anyone with a gun. For 10 long years, I could not even hunt. I got my life together and got my rights back, and I would never support her or anyone who would take away our 2A rights.
I firmly believe that any felon should get their rights reinstated once they have paid their dues to society. Of course there’s typically probation after release, and that can be part of the sentence, but once the debt has been repaid, should be a fully free man.

There isn't a police department in the country that would attempt to confiscate "assault weapons" full well knowing that at least a 1/3rd of people who own them would use them. You'd need a small army for that.

Even some of our biggest police forces with over 300 officers would not be enough to cover the amount of guns that would be getting used against them. We had one of those flash mobs last month at a local event the county was putting on, it was IN FRONT OF THE POLICE STATION, a mob of about 500 kids that got dropped off in vehicles stormed the whole event to the point where they had to call in backup from 4 separate departments in the area to deal with it, and that was nothing more than a bunch of kids throwing rocks at storefronts.
