    Hello. I want you to be affiliated with your explanatory film. This is the best made movie that visually explains the BEST in anything I've seen on TH-cam. Even a person who doesn't understand anything about mechanics would understand. Thank you again for your professionalism.

    Finally a shop that doesn't soak a piston in oil. I had a very famous engine builder tell me the piston rings don't run oil so don't soak them in oil. One of the large ring manufacturer say lube with wd-40.

    These guys are awesome to work with. I had a plastic composite intake manifold cleaned by them and they got it done fast.

    Very well done and I can see your equipment is really up to speed...very few shops have crank grinding machinery.....I was however rather surprised you are using flame to put press fit pins....sunnen has a electric unit that is superb and used correctly with their timers I have never discolored one...I enjoyed your video

    Nice vid, cool guys there. I talked with one guy for 45 minutes just asking questions and he was very helpful. I give them a 👍 on customer service. I haven't yet had the work done yet but the prices are very fair and comparable to others.

    sir I would like to know if gm 4.3 liter heads, casting number 14099064 with the eyebrows will work on an engine with the TBI intake set up.. the 4.3 engines are very confusing from so many changes over the years.. I have a 93 block. I have read that the 14099064 heads were an improved flow head, designed to be used with the CPI fuel injection system. I also read that some of these heads were used in the higher output K series and W series engines with the TBI set up.. I dont want to waste a set of head gaskets if these heads will not work with my TBI intake set up.. thanks

      E Chew - my brother rebuilt my mother's Ford straight six. There was a transverse groove across all the main bearing journals - it seems that someone in the factory dropped the crank during assembly and didn't bother to pull a fresh one. Yes, there are things better than new, depending on who built it.

    • @julioawins

      You’d end up spending more buying a bunch than machining it lol

    • @thehappytexan
      @thehappytexan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      J&D Shade Tree professional builders do the same block machining to brand new blocks to be certain of dimensions. That’s why most dart books have to be finish honed. You can put it together “good enough to run” or make it as dimensionally perfect as possible so it makes peak power for a longer life.

    • @tomhutchins1046
      @tomhutchins1046 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thehappytexan I call that peeing on trees. Self appointed experts take a finished product and usually screw it up thinking they know better than the manufacture. They have to mark there territory.
      (Ps dart blocks need to be finished honed intentionally so a real pro can fit it to the pistons and use the finish appropriate to the rings there using) Not due to poor manufacturing.

    That's an old inaccurate way to cut valve seats.

    What a way to curse your own business. This macabre funeral graveyard music with a child talking in the background from the dark minded musician who wrote it to the machine shop owner who chose it. Hear the words of the Lord, "Both Death and Life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat of it's fruit." Don't think I'll be doing any business any time soon. I'll probably go to BG.
